@TheHannahcast: dude, I'm so sorry about your situation. I've been watching your channel and you are doing such a great job. I thought you were a professional RUclips critic, you threw me off and the illusion of such is really messing with my head. 😂. Keep it up and I hope you become a professional critic one day.
I think "Sing Sing" should do very well at SAG, due to the fact (which Ryan brought up) it has to do with acting and putting plays together, and the sense of purpose and artistic fulfillment found therein- this of course should resonate strongly with SAG voters. Also, I saw the movie at a special screening last summer with the director and several others involved doing a Q&A afterwards, and if voters know anything about the backstory behind the film, it makes the movie just about impossible not to root for.
I really hope Winslet doesn’t get in. I also hope transphobia does not keep Gascon out. She is not my top 5 choice (that would be Squibb, Moore, Jean Baptise, Madison and Kidman but she is in a film that is getting nods everywhere else so should be competitive.
PGA is interesting. I think they had the same 10 as the oscars last year. Will the Substance make the PGA? And who will miss? That's really what I am looking for.
Adams got in for Hillbilly cause it was a covid year and her film was Oscar bait with another contender and streaming on Netflix which means every voter saw it. That's why Trail of Chicago 7, MA Rainey and Pieces of a woman all did well there as well.
Nicole Kidman at 9 and 10. Are you crazy! Behind Regina King, Kate Winslett and Pamala Anderson? Then lower than Zendaya and Amy Adams for Ryan. She’s top two for the golden globe drama actress prize, she won the volpi cup and NBR as well I think. I’m not sure she’ll get nominated, but she is definitely around 6/7.
@ what? Regina is not getting recognised or nominated anywhere Kate winslet only getting in at golden globes At least Nicole Kidman wins at Venice and also NBR
@ King could be an lone SAG thing (because Netflix) & Winslet could SAG because frances fisher campaign + she’s in an biopic. But, I have an feeling Kidman is the likeliest of the 3. Because she for everything nominated is at sag. Me 5 is: Madison, Erivo, Moore, Jolie, and i’m switching every day between Gascon/Kidman. But, I go for now for Kidman
Lee was not Winslet's best performance imoho. She came off as a gruff one note character who witnessed all these terrible atrocities and then ended up being a terrible mother. Not a fan of this biopic for her.
Thanks for this team up. Really appreciated the conversation.
Love these conversations! Having the two of you politely test and challenge each other's predictions made for a really great discussion.
Who the hell is this Hannahcast guy, and what is he doing in my Ryan Casselman video?
Just LOVE BOTH of you gentlemen. I concur: Mr. Chalamet and Ms. Moore ALL THE AWARDS- at least in my prayers.❤
FILM FAM!

Substance is absolutely making PGA. Widely acclaimed AND made a lot of money on its budget.
Prayer circle for Sing Sing at SAG and PGA.

Sing Sing is not winning.
tell him because Wicked it is the real Winner
@@jbjob2218You're saying Wicked will be the real winner?
Sing sing is likely to be snubbed at the Oscars
I know. It's not the path of CODA for sure. It's not a lock for the picture either. Could just be a film that gets nominated for an actor.
Guy Pearce will absolutely be there
DGA sounds fair.
Pretty sure Furiosa isn't eligible for WGA.
Placing KIDMAN at 10 is insane! What u have against her?
Nothing, I'm just trying to make my best guest.
Right? Pamela Anderson, Regina king and Kate Winslet higher than Nicole Kidman is insane
@@stevewoon6157Pamela Anderson is a bittle weird. But, I could see Winslet & King over Kidman

Don’t think Zoe will win at SAGS
Baby doll he’s need to become a peace with Emilia Perez sweeping 😂😂😂😂🤭
