Thanks for the video. I use the buds for almost a month now, I can easily say, that they got better over time. But I also had that right bud strangely disconnects thing 2 times in the month, and the bud itself was in my ear without any movement. Hopefully they will make these buds even better with future updates.
I bought a pair and generally satisfied with the sound quality when listening to music, on calls some people complained about the sound but usually when on the road for now. They are not high end audio by any means but a decent pair of buds for your Samsung device.

Great review as always, Keep it up :) I did experience the same issue with the Bluetooth connectivity were sometimes it will disconnect at random when moving my head or doing something, also my left earbud will disconnect most of the time when an audio stop(just the left bud) yet when I have both buds in my ear that doesn't happen. It'll probably be fixed with an update but other than that I have no other complaint
I'm a week into my Buds and it's strange that you also have the same issue of the right Bud squeezing out of the ear. At first switching to medium rings and large inserts helped but I kept that on my left bud and switched the right bud to small ring and medium insert. We'll just have to see how that goes. Either way, the buds are great. It's insane how I thought these were nothing compared to the Jabra's, but it just goes to show that even though the Jabra's are a superior product, you just have to look inside yourself and realize if you really care about all that extra stuff. In the end, WIRELESS EARBUDS are what you want them for, and for the price they hit HARD against the jabra's in the parts that matter while also completely stomping in other areas (like magnetized case, touch buds and bud form factor). In my opinion the largest and only downside is that they're not as water and dust proof as the jabra's. I constantly have to check myself from using them when i'm in the washroom.
A trick I have found if you are having the problem like you have at 3:48 is when I stick both ear buds in I rotate them in a downward fashion about a 1/16th of an inch. Doesn't take much for the little wing tip to lock them firmly in your ear. Don't over rotate or it will cause discomfort.
I would agree with your review for the most part, as I just got mine today. I too have the connectivity issue when outdoors and the call quality outside has made me muffled according to people I've called. But I would disagree on your opinion of the bass. Sure they aren't Bose or Jabra but at the same time AKG did a pretty good job. Use the EQ on both the buds and the phone and you get a very nice sound. Samsung does a good job with that. All in all a very true review.
This video has just helped me make my final decision on getting them and clarify any questions i had of them. Thank you. P.s i get the cutout for brief sec when using my Skullcandy Method Wireless when i turn my head or body while skating or in general at times i guess it can't transmit a wireless connection through the body. Im impressed with your findings and thanks because I just purchased these to go wireless when playing in the band. I have to be precise when using controls, But im looking at updates now for my buds. You are honest in your reviews only my boy Flossy Carter is the only other honest tech reviewer..brutally honest lol. You field tested these.. brilliant. Thanks keep it up my new friend. Subscribing 👍🏽
I've not owned the Iconx but I did see on the Samsung webpage that they used the swipe gesture for volume. Don't know why they didn't keep that for the Galaxy Buds. That would allow two custom actions for the tap and hold gesture, whilst still having volume control. That's the one thing I dislike about the Buds, if you set the tap and hold gesture to volume then you have no button for voice control. Bixby and Galaxy specific features are one of the main selling points but volume is the most basic thing you would expect headphones to have so it's crazy to have to choose one or the other. I bought my Buds after reading about an update allowing 'handsfree Bixby control'. There were lots of articles on tech news sites about this. From the way it was described I thought it meant that using Bixby would be genuinely handsfree by just saying the wake word 'Hi Bixby' instead of having to press and hold a button. Just like Apple Airpods. But I only realised after getting my Buds that you still have to press and hold, it just gives you the ability to control Bud specific things with Bixby. So basically it's just some new Bixby actions. The articles I read didn't describe the update very well as if you read handsfree that's what you expect. Also if you asked Bixby to 'lock the touchpads' then you can't bring up Bixby to unlock them if you have to press and hold a button to summon Bixby, so you have to get your phone out again to unlock them. Will be interesting to see if Samsung can add truly handsfree Bixby in the future, if they can do it with a phone always listening for the wake word then they just need to reliably get a constant mic feed from the Buds like the Airpods do.
I actually have a pair of connected wireless Jaybirds and enjoy them when working out. Yes, very simple, lol. Considering the Samsung earbuds for everyday use. Great review. 🤗

And yeah minor connectivity walking around work. Nothing major. To go completely off the subject, how you like the Logitech M720 wireless mouse? I have it and the K380 keyboard. I find them completely irreplaceable. At work I have my work pc, my personal pc, and my Note 9 on my dual charger stand. I enjoy jumping between the three with only a few clicks of the buttons.
I didn't get these at first because of the bad reviews, but I took a chance two weeks ago and it's totally worth it and the quality is good. A few minor feedback issues but it is not major.
Helped me a lot, got irritated with the low volume after I switched my phone, thought the buds were messed up because I drop it a lot. But sounds perfect again....
This is a problem to. If i have the right earbud in my ear and the left one in my hand closed nothing happens but when i have my left earbud in my ear and the right one in my closed hand the connection cuts out completely whenever i open my hand the connection comes right back
Firstly when i unpacked them, and heard the sound, I was little bit dissapointed.. Overal quality of music reproduction was really good, but I am slightly oriented to bass , and I thought that this had more bass than akg earbuds packed with samsungs ( which i used for over an year), and it hadnt.... But I have played a little bit with the EQ settings, and I came up with a great sounding configuration, which I took from the one guy from reddit ( thanks to him). I think this setting is really good with overall good highs, mids, and the bass is more emphasized, without loosing any other sound ( mids, treble, highs..) . If you are basshead like me, and wanna pimp up this earbuds, try this config imgur.com/a/wGlCkSY
I do not turn dolby atmos, because it boosts overall mids and highs (which is good) , but u cant use Amp amplifier, which for me is the biggest thing which can boost your bass.
That's unfortunate. I think the terms said it could take some time for the buds to come but that seems awfully long. I would contact Samsung and see if they will square you away

i don't know if it me or i never even have to charge the case likeeee i wake up at 8 am first thing i do is wear them then i keep them in my ears till 12 am or 1 am, and i never even have to worry about charging them
I actually need to thank you. I've been looking through the internet if the buds can be used on vertical wireless charger and I couldn't find the answer, but suddenly I find it in your video. Anyways, great video! 😅
What about playing games with these ? Is there any delay of sound ???
Yes there is latency when playing games. Sadly that's the case for all bluetooth headsets.
All bluetooth earphone had the same problems.
I can't wait to get a pair of these
If your other hand is occupied at the time... 🤔
The split second "disconnect" happens to me as well, when i look back or something like that. Seem like the buds reconnect to each other.
Glad I'm not the only one
Im listening on ear buds . Its really cool .just got them today
I miss swipe control volume up and down from gear iconx 2018
Thanks for your honest review
What's wrong with connected wireless ones like jaybird? They're like a nice simple car haha
I've really enjoyed the truly wireless earbud experience more than I expected.
I actually have a pair of connected wireless Jaybirds and enjoy them when working out. Yes, very simple, lol. Considering the Samsung earbuds for everyday use.
Great review. 🤗
I just realised you've uploaded this video on my birthday.
It's August, and I'm *considering* to buy truly wireless earphones to replace my old Wireless JBL 110BT, which broke recently.
Galaxy buds are definitely a good buy
I'm having connection problems as well on OnePlus
Awesome video really did enjoy it, have a Note 8 and have wanted some Samsung earbuds... Was hoping they might come with the Note 10 in August if not looks like I'll have to buy them... Great video keep on coming...
Note 10 is coming out on August 10th from what I heard
Thank you!
@@ShaneSymonds no problem, it was a good video... Look forward to more... Hope you're having a good week man...
Lanier they will probably come with the preorder
@@elliotsimonscine hope so, could definitely use a pair.
Thank you for discovering that they fit in the small pocket bro lol
A trick I have found if you are having the problem like you have at 3:48 is when I stick both ear buds in I rotate them in a downward fashion about a 1/16th of an inch. Doesn't take much for the little wing tip to lock them firmly in your ear. Don't over rotate or it will cause discomfort.
4:00 didnt happened to me...
probably something in your ear
It's a bee in their ears lol
Great review bro, I subbed.
Thank you!
Even with an iPhone I am looking into these instead of AirPods. I just can’t stand how AirPods look and feel
AirPods Pro gang welcomes you, if you join the Galaxy nerds then you no longer are welcome 🗿
Great review, I'm getting them guaranteed now 👍
Hey man could you please do a review of them With a 4.2 phone.
Thanks if you do
You will have latency. Review done lol
@@ShaneSymonds how much latency? Like too poor to watch videos on?
@@krispham nah RUclips is fine, however on sites other than chrome you will definitely feel it
What a great video you made!
Thanks Yusuf! More to come
Did he really just say e skating?
Nice Video and well presented. Definitely underrated gonna sub
Thank you!
Airpods $159.99
Galaxy Buds $129.99
SkullCandys $80.00
Chinese Great Airpods $59.99
I didn't get these at first because of the bad reviews, but I took a chance two weeks ago and it's totally worth it and the quality is good. A few minor feedback issues but it is not major.
I get the same issue when I Estate. But I love in NYC and there is so much interference that my airpods had the same issue
Helped me a lot, got irritated with the low volume after I switched my phone, thought the buds were messed up because I drop it a lot. But sounds perfect again....
This is a problem to. If i have the right earbud in my ear and the left one in my hand closed nothing happens but when i have my left earbud in my ear and the right one in my closed hand the connection cuts out completely whenever i open my hand the connection comes right back
I swear no one drank water until shane did. Now everyone is hydrating
"I want to talk about my new experiences with the galaxy buds".. This nigga sound like he got laid for the first time 👀.
If you are basshead like me, and wanna pimp up this earbuds, try this config imgur.com/a/wGlCkSY
that sounds good, but i still left the dolby atmos turned on! :)
I'll try this out tomorrow
@@thabond9789 . What's the difference? I need louder!
I do not turn dolby atmos, because it boosts overall mids and highs (which is good) , but u cant use Amp amplifier, which for me is the biggest thing which can boost your bass.
Listening to this on my Samsung earbuds 😁
The wired ones?
@@ShaneSymonds aw hell naw the wireless earbuds with the wireless charging
I like this guy because he's a Samsung guy😂
Nicr
Nice review! I ordered my S10 plus 10 minutes in to the promotion . I haven't received the free earbud ! 10 weeks ago and counting!
That's unfortunate. I think the terms said it could take some time for the buds to come but that seems awfully long. I would contact Samsung and see if they will square you away
I thought I was the only one whose right earbud slightly slips out a bit😱
For me it's my left
Yeh same here cause my ears right ear is smaller than my left so it's just a bit harder to put it in
Bruh fr me too I think that too
Great review! You had the exactly same experience with the buds like me.
Who else watching this vid with galaxy buds
Me with a dbrand skin
Work so well love them.
