Why such a big motor with the Mamba Monster 8s ESC? A TP 4040 or 4050 would have been way enough motor for Mamba Monster 8s and Typhon chassis? Good job!
Hi, simple answer, because it fit lol. This car is now a GT Scorched build, should be running it next year and the motor we have in it now makes this motor look tiny :) all in the name of fun 😂
@ Nice…..TP is definitely up there and matched with Onyx packs, winner!! Scorched are extremely good and basically industry standard if you want fast strong RC.
@@vortexrcukdon't listen to him he's just trolling cause he wishes he had the funds to build that monster up 😂. The typhon 6s is my first and only hobby rc and love it. Not much put into it as I don't have the funds 😂. It's a stock beast at least
@@deathbydeviceable everyone is entitled to an opinion lol. The Typhon is a wicked little car for sure. I’m a big fan of most of the Arrma 6s rigs. You wouldn’t recognise our Typhon now though, it’s a GT now and almost ready to be released to the wild for a bench test :) hopefully running at Rossa if work doesn’t get in the way :)

Okay, cool! It is definitely a beast and I love all the Scorched parts. I’ve got some of the same parts on order but haven’t decided on the motor.
