❤ hello.sir, mam,,just good conpost is very importants our plants around our widing backyard...for me my backyard more bananas using composed cows manures is good compost as well👍😊🌐🚴🏻♂️🙏🏾🇵🇭🇵🇭
Perhaps we can skip the blower part altogether by having the pile sit on top of a 20-40cm base of woody material (twigs and the like) and sticking a perforated pipe vertically in the center. Hopefully, natural convection will do the rest passively especially if the bottom layers of the pile are not compacted.
Wow ! That is really Fascinating !! I did not know this about adding Oxygen to the Compost !! But you are already getting some nice compost there at only 3 or so months !! I am going to check out the Johson guys book for sure and get educated !! Amazing what he done in the Arizona Desert !! I was wondering too how come your land has bad soil with all that Vegetation around, thinking it would have been naturally composting for Millenia !! But I read some more and seemingly Jungle type environments do not usually have great soil !! I am sure you have read about how the Maya and Inca and other tribes in the Amazon created a Black soil that was very rich !! It might take a while but I think you guys are on your way to doing the same thing on your Homestead and creating some wonderful fertile soil that can grow plenty !!
Thanks, and glad this was interesting! We sort of assumed the Amazon jungle would have naturally fertile soil, but apparently not! So much of the land where we are, while lush with grass and trees, isn't ideal for crop growing. Yes, the black soil! Hopefully we're headed in the same direction.

Great video, and informative!
Really like the aerator idea using pipes. Sticks for the horizontal pipe makes sense. What about vertically?
