You should also look into Gate/Gates by the same designer. I have all of his Tin Series games and they're all great.
@@SchizoidPersonoid how many games are in the tin series? And what are they? Game crafter shows a few like tin helm, gate/gates and this one but I have no idea what the other even are.
Only 5 currently, including the Gates expansion. Tin Helm is definitely worth getting, especially since Gates and DustRunner include some new cards for it. The one you're missing is Dig Down Dwarf.@@spencerstover8501

More love for the title. Another lesson from Derek that applies here - "Be professionally good looking". Love the art design for this game - the colors really work. I'd love to be able to paint the minis in that color theme, but I'd need to see someone skilled do it first.. Also great to see your luck is the same as mine!

I've been really enjoying Jason Glover's games. I have Tin Helm, Gate + Gates, Dustrunner, and Iron Helm with all expansions. All of them have been great fun and the art is just amazing. Really like the this-or-that mechanic.

Aw, man! I only got one Tin Helm promo card (Lost Tomb)! But in fairness, I didn't really buy the game for that and am still tickled pink to get even ONE promo card! I can't get enough of Jason Glover's games. Thanks for going over the game.

when my copy of tin helm was missing a card, I let them know and they sent me it for free. And I'm in Canada, so I expected they'd make me pay for shipping at least but they didn't

Just ran through it with the neoprene mat. Very nice. It did seem like the raiders didn't move enough in my two games. Maybe I was doing it wrong? Anyway it was very fun.
There’s a good chance they move after every combat.
@@TheDungeonDive how come? I thought the move when the exploration card says and when the spybot says!
After combat you draw the card to see if they move. I think about 2/3rds of the cards have them move. They also move if you run out of gas and can’t pay fuel at the end of the round.
@@TheDungeonDive oh I COMPLETELY missed that lol, so you draw a resolution card, check the space for the move. Got it. Wow must be that tiny text!

Is Game Crafter the only option for DustRunner? Because $28 is really steep (my total with shipping and taxes). I understand it's not being mass manufactured, but, as much as it interests me and I'd love to support it, that's just too much for me.
