Congratulations on the new job. I like your ideas on what to do with your vehicles. All great ideas for new content. Hope you are ready for Georgia summers! Hot and humid!
Congrats on the new job! All the best with your huge move. A sane person would probably say, 'sell what you aren't taking with you.' But none of us here are sane.
@@dajibanlife3017 I think it would be a fantastic idea, flip kit the rear and the 360la engine has a lot of aftermarket support. And if you get a pre emissions Era b100 or b200 no emissions testing
Keep it fix it, you never know what that other job is going to be like, so just in case it doesn't work out you can always come back and still have your van
Hey man, been following you a while and congrats on the new job! Moving all the vehicles sounds like a pain, but for what it is worth, bringing the van over there would give you a great platform for weekend trips and the like (or full timing again). If you get the transmission fixed, I’d be curious to know what it would cost. I’ve also got a dodge van, 160k miles, transmission is still solid but I know it is the Achilles heel on these vehicles.
To rebuild a stock one is reasonable... I'm beefing one up for more power and the parts are expensive. But generally you can get the rebuild and stock upgrade parts for around $350 + time.
@@dajibanlife3017 I agree that’s be awesome, would love to see someone walk through that process. I’ll have to look up the IG account you mention in the video. I’d like to do it, but seems like a big undertaking while I still have a functional trans
It's probably too late now but you should have scanned the codes. Dying when you come to a stop sounds like an idle control valve problem. I've heard people say that a bad idle valve can cause transmission hiccups, and it's a $20 part

Sell your van and gti and make a 70s dodge van into a Dajiban. And congrats on your new job brother
🤔 interesting idea

If I were to pull the trans I'd probably manual swap it instead of fixing/upgrading it

Yeah @dimlight65 on insta. I wouldn't swap it unless you had to work on your trans anyway, like I do

Thanks for the tip I'll check it out
Please keep the van
