What you mention in the end of the video was my biggest pitfall for a while. Being more patient and not trading when things look slow and choppy. I would sit sown in the morning and notice the gappers sucked, liquidity sucked, breakouts seemed random yet, I would still try to find something to trade and almost always had a red day. Finally I enforced discipline and just let those days pass by. Since then consistency has improved, red days are less often and confidence is up. Ultimately I realized I had fomo, which I tried to tell myself I wouldn't be subject to. It wasn't fomo in a specific trade, it was fomo that something would make a move and I wouldn't be there to capitalize that DAY. Let the tough days go and trade when you're telling yourself, ok now we've got some movement to work with.

This might be a dumb question. But let’s say I want to set my stop below resistance with room how would i calculate where to set it or is that must a matter of how much I’m willing to lose. FYI with my account size resistance is usually deep into my risk already. So maybe I shouldn’t do that and just set my risk based on my account, but I just need to know just in case or for the future when my account grows.

Great lecture Jared I cannot get my entries right lately enter into the trade late and then get shook out only to watch it Within pennies most of the time of my initial take profit level that's so frustrating trying to trade gather the experience and work a day job all at the same time but if there's a well there's a way right I just have to fix the trading plan to get rid of the hesitation lately like getting stopped out by a penny you know

Exactly me as well, I made $30 this week and then lost $30 this week. Breakeven is a sign that we are close to being profitable. You need to focus on entrees, I need to focus on fomo and emotions. I predict the market Very accurately but always fomo into a bad entry.
I STOPPED fomo-ing into my entrees and started making money, then one time I jumped in too early and lost $10 which then triggered 2 more revenge trades losing $20 more.
I'm thankful I've got strict rules for risk though, I stopped trading after hitting 3 bad trades in a row.
After reviewing those trades I feel good like I learned exactly what I did wrong and there's comfort in that 😁 because it's worse to be in a spot where you have no idea why you are losing due to being ignorant or lazy.
