    Krieg motto
    IN LIFE WAR
    IN DEATH PEACE
    IN LIFE SHAME
    IN DEATH
    ATONEMENT
    ALSO if you’re curious the vehicle the soldiers are getting in at 2:56 is called a gorgon heavy transport and can hold up to 50 troops, is equipped with either
    2 grenade launchers
    4 heavy stunners
    4 heavy flamers
    2 twin heavy stubbers
    And the thing looks amazing

    As for the vata womb and krige ageing, I don't think they age faster like star wars clones.
    At most they might be "uncorked" at like 6 or 7 so they cand work in the factory's and be indoctrinated into the cult of sacrifice
    As that's what krigers do until they join the death core. They work in the factory, train for fighting
    It's more that krigers get mass produced and mass produced constantly but I don't think their clones persay. As the imperium can get twitchy about true clones
    It's likely the krigers have massive banks of gentic stock from the population before the rebellion and they just mix it all into a big vat and since their return to the imperium it's likely get regular shipments of pure DNA to prevent mutation and gene degradation
    And it's likely there are national births

    Something tells me a psychiatrist would be mortified at meeting a krieger. Sidenote my favorite imperial faction. You have improved my view as they are starwars clones in a grimdark universe.

    As for their mentality it’s not that they’re go happy trench diggers armed with shovels and are always looking to commit suicide, but in reality their ideology and core beliefs revolves around a thing called the cult of sacrifice or the cult of unimaginable charity, where they believe that through the work and means of sacrifices, ensures kriegs pennants for their sins, for them it was the greedy and the corrupt that led them to turn their backs on the emperor despite everything the emperor and the imperium has done for them and others, and so it was seen that selfishness is the greatest sin for a kriegsperson, for it was selfishness that led to horus’s corruption, it was selfishness that lead to them turning their backs on the empero, it was greed and selfishness that has lead to starvation and hunger, for them there is only to things in life, their function and the desire to sacrifice everything to ensure their forgiveness, since during the krieg civil war where the krieg folks had to live and hide in deep underground bunker complex’s, where everyone had to be watered, fed and bedded since food was scarce everything had to be rationed and so everyone was given the exact same where if someone looses say their ration bars, they couldn’t ask others for theirs, or ask for another one and so they simply had to go hungry for the entire day, and if they choose to steal them the punishment was death for the individual and their entire families. As for the cult of sacrifice itself, it is taught to kreigers the moment when they’re born, for those lucky enough to join the guard, sacrifice could mean, escorting a bomb or high valued individual to a specific area deep within enemy territory, to performing reconnaissance and to say they’re suicidal is in reality is just a meme and a joke, but in reality the death korps isn’t suicidal but in reality pragmatic, where if the lives of ten men can be lost saving the lives of ten thousand men, despite overwhelming odds of never coming back, most if not all other regiments outside of cadians or Mordians let alone storm troopers, 9/10 times most other regiments would hesitate sending several troopers to their imminent and brutal deaths, but for the krieg if it means less lives lost and more lives saved for the second offensive then by all mean. All it would mean is that if ten men were able to disrupt the enemy long enough or kill as many as possible then the mission was a success, if not? Then so what? It’s not as if those ten men were expected to live much longer anyways.

    In the Imperium of Man, to be called a Traitor is a greivous insult next to being called a Heretic.
    To be called a Traitor stains not only an individual but their families and anyone closely associated with them.
    Krieg's secession from the Imperium is unique because its Planetary Government committed this act. Thus the stain of being a Traitor spread itself throughout its populous, including the loyalists who won it.
    To be a Traitor is an affront to the Imperium as well as to the God-Emperor and all He stood for, hence why the generations of Kriegsmen could not forgive themselves for the affront despite being the ones who won the war.
    Or perhaps given that it took 500 yrs for them to win the war, their idea of Traitors deformed in a way unrecognizeable to the generations that have followed. Turning what was once a crusade of liberation into penance for forgiveness.

      @Zekeziel-Reacts  Год назад

      That explains why it is that, from what I've heard, the imperium doesn't really use traitor geneseed to make astartes. Since even though there were loyalists from those legions, the sin of treason would be on the whole legion due to the primarchs turning traitor, right?

    • @dgrmn12345
      @dgrmn12345 Год назад +1

      @@Zekeziel-Reacts Publically, the Imperium does not use Traitor gene-seed. But rumors say that some Foundings included gene-seed from the Traitor Legions, such as the Blood Ravens.
      Apart from that, yes. Your leader's betrayal affects the entire whole. Though there are some individual Space Marines during the Horus Heresy that remained loyal though their presence is heavily scrutinized by most Loyalists.

    Yeah, their culture turned their secession into Original Sin dialed up to 11, without a savior to redeem anyone. The whole planet is damned, all generations, and the only salvation comes from service (which will never be enough) and self-sacrifice (which someday just might be enough).
    Baldemort has a more lore-heavy video showcasing this martyr complex.

    ?
    500 years?
    You’d be clocking in about 5 generations if you’re pushing it however considering that their life spans are considerably shorter, you could say that krieg went through at best ten to fifteen generations at least

    • @Zekeziel-Reacts
      @Zekeziel-Reacts  Год назад

      A generation is about the time for people to grow up and have kids of their own. I went with 18 for my mental calculations though upon googling it, it's 20 to 30 years per generation.
