Without being in a pressurized cylinder any properly functioning ignition will jump a huge gap - that's why the old spark plug testing machines used compressed air.
True, I believe he is demonstrating the increase in the gap that the coil is able to jump the spark across in the same atmosphere. It’s probable that under higher pressure the increase would not be as high but would still be an increase. I could be wrong but theoretically doubtful.
What is the purpose is this, spark current is proportional to potential required to ionise the air gap and that is determined by pressure and temperature. HEI can develop well in excess of that for any spark ignition system at 50kv.
For those who talk about burning spark plugs and pistons... you folks don't realize he is using a relay to RAPIDLY energize the coil ... in the normal use it will spark once (on the power stroke as the normal operation) the only thing is the spark is EXTREMELY HIGH voltage (normally approximately 30,000 volts is used to cause the spark plug spark) a higher voltage just ensures a higher burn rate for the fuel and ensures the plug will spark as intended (they sell hot rod ignition coils that do the samething) the older non-electronic ignition systems would work just fine ... with the electronic systems the back flow COULD potentially cause death of the electronic ignition system... however a simple diode added to absorb the extra energy should prevent the extra energy as the coil field collapses... to understand that more Google "how a ignition coil works"

You can accomplish the same thing by wiring a capacitor in series with the coil look it up people... shouldnt cost more than a couple bucks to do and will yield the same results. Notice how he doesn't answer any questions about it being a capacitor.. It's because he doesn't want his $1.00 piece covered with some fancy name and sold for some ridiculous mark up secret to get out

That spark boost will not fry out the ignition module? Not a Pertronix but a GM-HEI module
Great idea however the rotor and cap on any coil system will arc over or burn through. Don't try this.
no ,it won't damage coil .it only increase voltage high , decrease ampere .it only for ignite air fuel mixture internal combustion engine . it is not for cutting .

Compare the original spark to his adjustable ground, to what goes to ground with it connected. There was LESS usable spark going to the ground with this thing! Most of the charge was firing back to the shell of the plug, until he made the gap huge (too much to be able to do it in the engine). Looks cool, but no thanks.
This can work in a VW aircooled engine?
These hotter sparks will require frequent spark plug changes , and you cannot increase the gap beyond a few mm while running in the engine.

this device is not for fuel Saving . actually that is no any product can save fuel . because it already fix 14.7 to 1 ratio . the only way to save is changing driving style . at town area , when press pedal up to 3000 to 4000 rpm let go the pedal for gear changing . then do the same way until reach top gear . then you can notice rpm very low speed will around 60, 70 or 80 depending on what car . try maintain 2000 rpm and bellow . this will be very funs to drive , this type of driving only with Fire Storm can do it , normal car hard to do

this is fake, all it is is a capacitor in a series circuit, all it does it make the arcs longer, there is no spark plug that will increase anything on your engine, they dont do that, if you would like a real power increase for engine look online for cleaning methods for injectors/carburetors
this is so simple to replicate, google capicator and relay circut, also electroboom made a very nice one for his homemade taser, recommend that as well.

Can I use in a dustributorless setup. It's a ford 4.6 with dual coil packs with no distributor. I would think yes. But just want your opinion. Also. Does it plug into the fuel pump.fuse selection? Which fuse port does it tie into? Thanks

anything that deals with the spark plugs on a vehicle claiming to boost ANYTHING is a scam 100%. at MOST this might burn a little bit more gas due to the excess heat, but thats IT

That is simple... that is just a capacitor inside the black device... What would be the point on putting lower octane fuel? If you getting better spark that means you can burn a higher octane fuel therefore experience more power!

if i put it to my scooter the piston is gonna melt u can do it also with another way...u can make the distance of the pinion longer but if u try to overpower the engine it is gonna melt the piston...right?

ok...an actual electrical engineer here...an electrical arc forms when the electrical potential is high enough to ionize the gap between a potential ( electrodes). when current starts to flow, voltage drops, and the arc is extinguished. if the gap is fixed ( as in a spark plug gap), the arc will start at a specific voltage then extinguish....any further voltage is wasted as heat. the ONLY way to increase current flow (which is what actually ignites a fuel/air mixture, not voltage) is to increase said gap...which YOU ACTUALLY do in your demonstration!
The bottom line is this: this device does nothing other than generate more heat to the system, and would not provide any of the benefits you are claiming that it does.
I have colleagues who work on ignition systems for various aircraft engine types who got a kick out of your video when i played this.....
Well if you don't mind driving with a minor obstruction... You could just use a high current Tesla coil driven by mosfets. Bet you could get some spark and fuel burn with that. Not to mention a few citations from the police.

no . that is only one 12 V battery .i just fix the booster to 12 V wire in series .

Sure, you can add more power to your ignition system and get hotter spark and change the speed of ignition and so get more power per cycle, BUT you'll dramatically increase your engine deterioration, and finally break it after having (couple of years of) fun.

ill explain, he obviously wont, seeing as this comment is 5 jahre old. it is a high voltage capicator wired into the circuit, all it does is increase arc length (this does nothing aside from making very cool effects for the camera)

Mechanics point of view... I'd like to see this demonstrated through a clear distributor cap with the rotor button spinning. I'd bet my money on the fact arcs would be going everywhere especially at higher revs, if someone has a low spark rate for some reason there best off fixing the actual problem this is what a mechanic is for, car manufacturers set things like coils an fuel pumps at a certain rate because they run best at those rates, you wouldn't pump twice the amount of fuel into a motor so why would u do this. I can say now I'd never be putting this on 1 of my own or a customers car u could bet this company wont accept liability for damages when things break. I b thinkin China is cashing in after u pay to put this on ur car u will be paying again for the right parts an then most likely a mechanic to repair the damages

hi is it in the 70,000kv range if not do you know how to get it up to that as if you then wrap it round a stainless steel tube on the exhaust and make it a positive charge (not sure on how as your coil is neutral static on the out/centre.) this will make a air implosion by stripping off electrons from the atoms .joe booker style hermann anderson look him up on you tube you will then get what i am asking melvin in uk
