I think they played on that by burning the flowers in this music video and coming back with a much stronger concept of woman empowerment and I have not seen anyone pick up on that yet.

Actually in a showcase Yeeun confirmed that La vie en rose was originally for them and that they had finished the preparations for the comeback following black dress but due to a few complications the song was passed on to iz*one and they were upset (i mean nobody would want to be in a situation like that) but they felt that the song found better owners so they were glad.
Jongin Is Holy they didn't say they were upset, Yeeun only said: “‘La Vie en Rose’ was a track that we had finished recording. We were pretty surprised when we found out later, but this is common in the music industry so although it was a little regrettable, we weren’t sad. I think the track was able to meet better owners. Thanks to that, we were also able to meet a great track like ‘No.'”
The great thing about the song (and the MV) is that while CLC rejects the social standards imposed upon them as what they should be wearing as women. They do not denounce femininity, whereby one can still be free to dress in traditionally feminine clothing (as seen in the MV) yet it is completely their decision to make. One great example would be a line sang by Elkie, "The lipstick that'll look best on me". Viewers often pick on the 'hypocrisy' of the chorus when they should be focusing more on the 'freedom to choose' and 'my way or the highway' confidence. Women get to choose whatever that makes THEM feel awesome. Then there are the subtle hints towards the criticism of their constant shift in music styles (and how they don't care, because they'll slay anyways). Girl groups are frequently categorized into only 3 genres ,cute, sexy, or innocent, while many boy groups are appreciated for their "creative and musically diversity" (No shade to BGs). CLC is telling us women are more than that, and female idols aren't only boxed into orthodox subclasses. This is seen from Yujin's line "Innocent, sexy and cute. Single words like that can’t possibly express who I am" and the last rap bit by YeEun, "Innocent? NO. Sexy? NO. Aegyo? NO. Acting like a good girl? (silence)". Women are in fact complex and I believe they're speaking for all the women out there. True feminism anthem, we stan! CLC hit so many targets with this song and I'm proud they're getting more recognition! They just got their first win and their album, No.1 got featured on the World Albums Billboard Top 5, a list predominated by powerhouse boy groups. So proud of them!! (P.S. Adding to your analysis, I think the scene in Yujin's part where she grabs Seunghee's hand holding the strawberry has a metaphorical interpretation. Seunghee is trying to feed the strawberry (gender roles, gender impositions) to Yujin, but she grabs hold of it, and controls it, to finally go ahead and eat it. So you can take the impositions and the meaning of woman and femininity, understand they are the result and the means of oppresion, and embrace them as your own tools of empowerment. Finally, I want to add that I love this comeback and this song. CLC deserves this first win. Here's to many more wins (music shows' and otherwise) for the amazing CLC!!

I've never cared about a group's success the way I have cared about CLC's the past few years. They have been so good and so underrated for so long. It killed me watching Cube sabotage its own group through bad decisions and lack of support. And in the meantime, they *hustled.* Sorn alone did more during their breaks than Cube did during their promotions. To see Cube finally put some money behind them and for the public to finally take note in a major way has been *amazing.* I pray they keep it up.
The song is saying that you shouldn’t wear things that you don’t enjoy wearing. CLC themselves have said that they wear these things because they fit them and they like how they look on them. So they’re saying you shouldn’t be pressured into things you don’t like wearing or doing.

This is the first CLC song that I've heard & I started stanning immediately! I *really* like this song and their "No. 1" EP has some bops as well! I really like "Show" & "Like It" on their EP. Yeeun was apparently trained by Hyuna. I’m assuming hyuna also trained SoYeon. Cube really did loose their most valuable artist. I loved Cube’s female rappers and I’m guessing it’s all because hyuna, since they all have a similar tone.
Its not Hyuna trained them its Cube thing they want their rapper to sound unique in kpop group thats why they maintained that tone on all rapper
