I'm honestly disappointed that Robo Squidward is just for Horde Mode and isn't even really a boss. I saw that old concept art and I'm REALLY wishing we got that in the main game.
KodyCrimson In an interview they said the only cut content they’re adding to the main story was unused voice lines, and sound effects. They only had 10 ish months to make this whole game from the ground up during the pandemic and from their houses. Give them some credit

Even if they didnt want to add new stuff to the story, they should have anticipated what the fans would have wanted and interpreted from them saying they wanted to add cut content. They should have added robo squidward as a boss fight in the crusty crab, and added Patrick's dream as well and not done multiplayer at all. Hell I wouldn't even call the robo squidward a bossfight at all. He just sits in the background waiting for you to press a button so he magically takes damage from nothing and moves to the next island to continue to do absolutely nothing.
RJ they need to make robot sandy and Patrick more intimidating. Robot sandy never looked intimidating but she just looks goofy asf now. Robot Patrick looks more child friendly now and not evil or sinister. And they were way slower than on the original. Robot sandys spring attack is very slow and Patrick’s spin move is as well. I will admit. Robot spongebob isn’t bad or slow they did just fine w him. I was thinking since it was gonna be NEWER, better graphics that robot Patrick would be even more scary looking but nope
@@snoopeebaron if that was the case, they shouldn't have announced they were adding cut content in the first place. They should have known what the fans expectations were for adding cut content, and if they weren't going to meet those expectations then they shouldn't have said anything at all
This is my idea for a robot squidward boss: Before you fight robot SpongeBob you can go to the Krusty Krab and Mr krabs says there's a giant robot in the basement so you go to the basement. Then robot squidward is there he has the same health as the other robots and he will attack by slamming his tentacles three times. On the third time you can climb to his head and attack him and when taking damage he gains two other attacks which are to fire ink bombs at you that can blind you and a laser eye attack
Guys robot squid word was going to be in the original battle for the Bikini bottom but they scrapped it just like a third phase of the robot SpongeBob fight and the Patrick dream part of SpongeBob dream But also I think it made the original robot Squidward Bossfight it was like going to be a mixture between the Robo Patrick and Robert Sandy boss fights but not directly
@@wilburforce8046 yeah, because they were uncannily similar to the real ones. The moved like there were alive in the original. Rehydrated's are straight up robots. I find that as a positive but it's clearly a subjective thing.

Hell, if the game was exactly the same but with better textures, why even remake it in the first place? The cut lines can easily be heard by simply looking them up on google. This game just seemed like wasted potential. Hoenstly, I wish someone else who actually cared to add in the cut content properly would have remastered the game bc at least then it wouldn't just be a 40$ reskin of a game.
@@logangaskill4 Be happy that somebody actually wanted to do a remake of this game. A game like this could have just as easily be forgotten completely. And most of the time devs want to do more, but are just unable to due to deadlines and a whole bunch of other factors.

I was terrified of the original Robo-Patrick as a kid. The boss itself, the design of the stage, and the music all made me too scared to do the boss

And you don’t even fight him all you do is fight some enemies and it’s barely even a boss fight
They didn't add him in the main game because they didn't want to change the original story mode in any way.

In all honesty, to me the boss battles feel too different from the original, and I don't mean graphic wise.
They lack some of the sound effects, and they made them feel easier than before somehow.
