Georgiou... she is an amazing example for a well-written anti-hero. She is cruel, ambitious, but I could still enjoy her scenes, even root for her, because she was intelligent, fun, and she truly loves and worries for Michael. She is not a good person, but she makes a lot of good decisions because of this one relationship. I agree with you - certainly the best thing from the mirror universe.
Great video! Georgiou is my favorite character out of Discovery, and Michelle Yeoh really brings her to life in either incarnation with nuance and subtlety.
"Death to the Terrans!" quote Mirona Thetin, who is a pseudo Lemurian Han China girl. Her wesir, Trinar Molat, likes to look like Peter Cushing. Her enforcer Toser-Ban likes to look like Rutger Hauer, sorry, Konstantin Wecker.
Oh but she's a bad-ass isn't she?. Just about as bad as "Faux-Olivia" in "Fringe". It's funny how you can see the influence of "Fringe" on "Star Trek" with the whole JJ Abrams touch and some of the people that worked on the series behind the scenes and onscreen are now sprinkling the magic onto the "Trek" universe. Loving it!.
Her and saru were the only things worth a damn in this series...She was a great foil (sort of antagonist) wildcard and antithesis character for star trek and the federation...basically a scarier more physically dangerous version of garek or quark...someone who didn't subscribe at all to the high ideals and progressive morals of the universe. Saru felt like the only true and new star trek character in the whole first season...everyone else was either deeply annoying and unlikeable or completely boring and bland. Alas two characters and a handful of good scenes doesn't redeem or save the show from the terrible casting, dialogue and plot lines though...not to mention all the stupid additions to the techno babble science fiction stuff...I mean really a giant bug navigator and a magic mushroom teleportation drive? This is great video though

A fascinating character. The Mirror Universe in Star Trek has invariably been entertaining.

She DOES seem to get all the best lines.
Michelle Yeoh is amazing in anything she plays
Ohhh this is fabulous! Michelle Yeoh made this character into my fav
She's basically Garak from DS9, that's why her fans love her!
Purge the heretics, for the god empress of mankind!
For the sword and glory of Terra.
Yes ma’am! YES!
So stunning, ravishing, hot or action packed Michelle Yeoh is through her character's scenes, in this video.
What if Phillipa Georgiou is part of Hosi Sato line? It would have been a cool way to link the Enterprise Two partner
