My son I listened with bated breath to your clear, concise and well researched account of the rise and rise of the Papacy from 1929 when Mussolini gave the Vatican power as a state within a state. Then entry was accorded to the United Nations as a full member with power to intervene in political matters as well as religious. Subsequently America the political giant of this organisation joined hands with the Papacy to compromise its Protestant status. You showed by scripture and E.G. White's prophecies how this was foretold. It was fascinating following your skillful weaving of a tapestry of events into a finished product. Congratulations. Part 1 deals with the Legal implications of the Treaty. Part 2 deals with Political and Legal Ramifications of the Treaty and Part 3 deals with Collaboration of the Holy See and the USA government. Things are happening right in front of our eyes and we are not keen to see. Our defense will indeed be based on Jesus Christ in the Center and we shall deliver our defense courteously and respectfully. In 1944 the Vatican flighted an application to join the United Nations and this was vehemently turned down by member states as it would not meet all conditions especially on the social and political security front and it retained its observatory status. On 1 July 2004 it yet again submitted another application for membership to United Nations and the Holy See was unanimously accepted (416 members of Congress gave their approval). One Republican member from California ( I think it was) descented to this and stated that the Conditions of the Treaty have not been changed, and there's no way State and Church can form an alliance. This matter should not have, in the first place, have arise. The Constitution of the USA government does not provide for Church and State to be combined as this would erode the principle of Checks and balances. The Holy See has not changed its stance, instead it is Protestantism which has deteriorated from the early days of reformation and in a sense assisted in healing of the beast; and now the lamb-like beast is being prepared to speak like a dragon. The feet of clay and Iron will soon be crushed and the everlasting Kingdom of God will be set.
