I understand why Dr. Sheldon Lee Cooper love trains. Doing what that guy does is simply happiness. I do the same that this guy, not with lovomotives, but with industrial machinery so I know how it feels.
So where are you gonna run this little beauty when she's all ready to go since she runs on such a weird gauge? She's a very unique engine and unique is good in the preservation business. That's gonna have to be some heavy rail for as much as this tank of an engine weighs.
I find when removing old bolts and pins from old machinery if I heat around them first then quench said bolt/pin with WD40 or CRC they usually pull out with a pair of welding gloves once they start to move. Also no sure if an American thing or just noobs, but something like valve gear pins I would be using a wooden block to hammer against.
+Mason Hoven . audio problem at top, 2nd, no body knows what are you doing, basically i did not find myself involved with you in this interesting work. people who designed and made this machine must be great. thanks, ghafeer

Good video, looking foreword to more videos of your progress.
A soaking in WD40 or even diesel will help free those parts instead of heating and belting with a hammer will make it much easier to pull apart
