Great Video very concise and full of valuable information, I have just one question Alan how have you connected the hook length please is it a loop or tied?

Great rig Alan. I’ve found it great for skimmers too with their jiggly fight and soft mouths with that little bit of cushion in the feeder gum. Especially if using braided mainline. I’ve added a cut down end of one of the carp boys lead tails below the swivel bead to push the gum away from the feeder even further - they weigh very little, push over the distal half of the bead swivel and really help to boom the gum away from the feeder. Would be interested to see what you think of this?

He has lassoed his hooklength over the feeder gum & securing it against the knot he tied at the end of the gum

Nice video as always! Just one question I couldn't see how you attach the hooklength to the end of the power gum it doesn't look like loop to loop so are they both just tied together? Regards martin
