    Excellent video. If you don't own a pole, or even if you do, this method can be a winner and that loose fed inside swim can produce some big fish. This method certainly produces on my local Gt Ouse when the river has some colour, regards Bill

    hi mate im really struggling hitting the bites when maggot feeder fishing on rivers , im bringing the maggot back in really sucked but no indication on the tip . do you fish it fixed or free running ? and would shortening the hooklength right down help ? ..... help needed

    • @spectrumdnb7
      @spectrumdnb7 3 года назад

      Free running is better because if your line snaps the fish won't be carrying a feeder around with them. You also get better bite indication on free running rigs. I'd recommend practicing your feeder fishing at a commercial fishing lake that has lots of roach and small fish and you'll get the hang of it. I was fishing a method feeder with 2mm pellets on the feeder and sweetcorn as a hookbait yesterday and I caught 77 roach 2 carp 1 rudd and a barbel all on a lake so it taught me a lot about when to strike. Wait for a proper bite indication and be ready to strike on the rod bend

    is he casting to the clip? or is it of the clip when he making the bow?

    • @ifishmatrix
      @ifishmatrix  3 года назад +1

      Yes, but hitting the clip with the rod far back, which allows the small bow in the line!
