Wonderful playing! Thank you for sharing it with us!!
Brilliant playing! Wonderful balance w/Organ and Orchestra!. Having played this marvelous work a few times, conductors so often say “The organ is too loud, turn it down,” the end result being an audience wanting more sound from the organ! Bravo to you!
Hi Ken..
Hope you and Barbara are doing well!
Katie nailed this ...
Organ is never too loud, I say full organ and let the orchestra keep up
Great job Katie! It was an honor to play in the orchestra with you
Verry nice, greetings from Harry, Emmen the Netherlands
Very good. Glad to see another young female organist as there are a few on YT. Have subscribed so I will look out for more of you Katie.
Beautiful piece and wonderful performance!
So gorgeous, So brilliant! A really great performance by Katie, by the conductor Park and of course the orchestra!👏👏👏👏👏
this is a great video 🎵
For sure!
Absolutely incredible. The level of artistry in your playing is amazing!
Wow! That look the conductor gave you leading into the final few measures made me tear up with the sheer joy of music making that was happening.
You knocked it straight through the clouds!
WODERFUL PERFORMANCE.
Brilliant performance!
Bravo! Thank you for posting this fabulous version.
First rate exciting performance. BRAVO!!!!!
Outstanding Performance!
Wonderful.
❤ Superb playing !
Bravo!
Awesome!
Splendide. Bravo 👏👏👏👏🎶🎶🎶🎶
Well played Katie!
what splendid.marlborough music...
How amazing to have the opportunity to play this with orchestra!
Until this, Katie, I always thought this symphony was just for Organ, You and the entire team were absolutely wonderful and so well conducted!
Wonderful performance! It's a fun piece--hard, but great fun. (I know it best in the form for organ alone, having played it a couple of times in recitals.) The musical materials in both versions are the same, just decorated more in the organ-and-orchestra version.
🎯❤️🔥
👏👏👏👏👏👍😊
Your performance is amazing! I'm just a bit confused, like it's an organ ... it doesn't need an orchestra 😅
Guilmant actually wrote an organ solo version of this piece, as well!
@@organist1982 yes, I only knew the organ version until now. That's why I was surprised, because the organ solo piece is awesome by itself
@helenas.6383 While the organ version is more than capable of standing on its own, I think it's good to have an organ and orchestra version as well. Personally, I think we need a larger body of literature for organ and orchestra as well as organ and wind band.
@@helenas.6383 I'm not certain, but I think the organ-and-orchestra version may have been composed first, and then Guilmant may have then "transcribed" it for organ solo. I could probably search on Wikipedia, but I'm too lazy right now...
Guilmant wrote it for organ and orchestra
Is there a stoplist for this magnificent online somewhere?
Fabulous! On par with Cameron Carpenter.
It's a Concerto for God's sake!
The actual title calls it a "sonata."
Correction, the solo organ version is titled as a "sonata." The organ and orchestra version is titles as a "symphony."
Stunning, I wish we had the 2 preceding movements to hear the whole piece.
