I appreciate you doing these daily hiking vlogs! I aspire to do the Florida Trail, and seeing your journey inspires me. It looks hard. Those road walks look killer, both in body and soul. Hiking is synonymous with nature, but semis and pavement - not so much, but it seems like it is on the Florida Trail. The swamps look like hell, too, but I still am up for the challenge. Take care! You really don’t like the Durston tent do you! I think that is Rhyme Ice, made from your breath vapor freezing on the inside of the tent. Not sure I would enjoy the Florida trail.
Might be a bit of a silly suggestion but why don't you walk on the grass? Or even better, why don't they lay the trail along the grass or back from the road? There seems to be wide roadside verges.

If I can give one piece of advice, hike with a group. Misery loves company. It’s way too easy to quit when you’re miserable by yourself.
You guys are amazing to do that much road walking in 4 days. Glad it’s coming to end

I’m definitely going back to double walls. I’ll carry the extra 8oz in order to stay dry.

We do walk on the grass quite a bit on the road walks but a lot of the time the ground slopes sharply off and it makes it difficult.
