    Bought the 14 inch a month ago, unfourtently, The OLED version wasn't available on my country, so I bought the regular version,
    But, suprisingly for the price you pay, you get more value then expected!
    Even for low end gaming on modern titles like elden ring, sekiro shadows die twice, cod mw, fortnite, etc.. I managed to get a solid 60fps on all of them!
    So overall, even without OLED, This laptop worth every cent!

    I love Lenovo! Ordered one of these 2 days ago for my daughter who starts secondary school in Sept. I'd surveyed the market and liked Lenovo's modular upgrade approach and, same a you, surprise how cheap they were! Thought i'd check for reviews before buying and saw this video... good job, I hadn't upgraded the screen! Added that, all-in came to £744 with a few discounts. Interestingly, my work has a discount code for Lenovo (Perks at Work) and while the starting price is a bit cheaper the upgrade prices are double(??) so worked out cheaper buying as a regular punter. Keen to know more about the cable replacement. I just bought an ANKER 45W to fast charge my S24 Ultra, would that work? Very well produced and informative video. Cheers

      well since i am using the same exact model for abt a month myself i can say that the battery life is amazing, if and only if u're tryna do some office work takes note etc. If u're tryna run games on it(GTA or Forza), well its gonna run them just fine, but the cooling solution on this ain't build for heavy gaming tbh, even with the fan on full blow this thing will heat up quite a bit.

    There's also a Yoga 7 2 in 1 (14) with the same Ryzen 8840HS CPU, iGPU, RAM, SSD storage & 16:10 OLED display. The Yoga 7 2 in 1 has HDMI 2.1 and a larger battery. That's about the main differences I can see...?

    Hello, what upgrade would you recommend between the OLED screen and the CPU upgrade (R5 8645HS to R7 8845HS) ? Thanks !

    • @TechHunterOfficial
      @TechHunterOfficial  4 месяца назад

      @@SeigneurReefShark I would say get both, you can't upgrade later and the cpu upgrade will increase the longevity of the laptop

      The oled is less important, but it's a really, really nice screen to have

      @@TechHunterOfficial Thank you very much for your fast answer. Would you happen to know if there is any risk of burn in with the screen ? Thanks again

      I don’t agree. The tech now used to manage OLED has come a long way. In addition in Lenovo Vantage you can select options to dim the task bar after a certain amount of time, as well as the whole screen if there has been no movement after a period of time. OLED has been in mobile phones now for years with no issues. I do agree that IPS is still a more durable screen, but if you intend to replace your laptop after 5 to 7 years, then an OLED screen is fine.
