    Paul- These lectures are uniformly excellent content. I'm going to send students to some of them as a supplement to my own if you don't mind. Sometimes just hearing it from someone else or in a different voice makes a big difference. The sound on this one does have some holes but not dramatically enough to impair understanding. Nice job!

      @Tom Not everyone that studies marijuana smokes it, or prefers the THC part of it, i know for me personally i only enjoy CBD because i generally do not have a good reaction with THC.
      Not to say THC is bad of course, i think it should be absolutely legal, i just don't personally prefer it.

      Paul Merritt Thanks bud, do you have any videos or other resources about marijuana and oversaturation? For example how life can pass your by when you oversmoke, the lack of motivation and how this effects the brain etc

      SpliffHound 420 how? It’s clearly one question with some follow up.

      @Larry Johnson life can definitely pass you buy if you oversmoke and it can also affect the brain in different ways. So just curious as this video draws parallels.
      Haha I’m living life fine and I’m certainly not seeking permission on anything. Very interesting you have come to that conclusion…

    If cannabis was a gateway drug as many many many of our politicians have spouted for years, I would be dead.

    Good info but your audio is really terrible

  • @Dude8718
    @Dude8718 3 месяца назад

    Your information about the potency of cannabis is extremely outdated. 99% of the available cannabis that isn't brick weed is gonna be at LEAST 10% at MINIMUM and often 12-15% or even 20%. Some strains can be as high as 25% THC. In this day and age (and even 4 years ago) it would be a challenge to find cannabis that low potency.
    Also Your slide said indica has more thc than sativa but this is not true. They can both have wildly different contents.

    U can’t OD on edibles or bud🤣🤣🤣 y’all making up these lies. U won’t die unless u drive and being high that’s the only reason. But smoking wise NO can’t die. It’s physically impossible

    • @PaulMerritt
      @PaulMerritt  3 года назад +1

      You know where in this lecture is there any indication that someone would die of an overdose

      I think it's more a mental state issue over anything else. If you are in a bad state of mind like you are going through a rough period or have any other mental issue that high doses of thc might trigger a psychosis or paranoid state that can cause doing dumb shit

    • @kianapuskas2642

      @@PaulMerritt I believe they are referring to in the beginning when the speaker mentioned people having had died off taking edibles. The speaker DID however agree that you can’t physically OD from edibles but you can have a psychotic break (as mentioned with the individual who jumped out of the window).
      I don’t consider that a symptom of the marijuana though - that’s a user issue.
      You don’t blame catcher and the rye for John Lennon getting shot, you know? 🤣
