They won't be perfect in an interview. So this makes them the perfect people to speak to the media and have the media be vampires sucking information from them.

When Ashleigh ask how it was for Gypsy when she finally got to physically be with her husband she meant that in like they finally are together and not separated so physically together not sexually physically.... the stepmom just misunderstood the question.

Best security for Gypsy is to stay off social media and stop all media promotions....You can promote your book and advocate your cause without heavy social media involvement. It can get REALLY crazy. You do have good support and counseling.

It’s well known, especially to anyone in the public eye, that the worst thing you can do when you have a stalker is discuss it openly as they thrive on the attention. Then to ask the step mom if she has security without knowing the answer is so irresponsible. The stepmom can be forgiven for being naive but a news journalist will know exactly how dangerous it is for gypsy when she goes down that line of questioning. I couldn’t believe my ears!
It’s quite possible that clips of this interview will be played on law & crime after some nut job attempts something terrible.
Gypsy needs security and people to manage her social media/ media appearances asap. The press will take full advantage of her family’s lack of experience not caring about the ramifications.

There are so many other aspects the interviewer could have asked, and did; but to ask about Gypsy's spending first night with her husband,tacky. and to ask the poor step mom, put her in an awkward position. How would a person know about another persons feelings. I believe Gypsy would have handled this better.

I agree. The world of social media can be a hateful, malicious, and manipulative place. There are long term concerns for her as well aside the social media and attention she’s getting. I studied and researched Münchausen syndrome by proxy and wrote several papers on it. She is at high risk for Münchausen syndrome herself. And even more concerning, it’s not uncommon for child victims of the “by proxy” habituate the abuse with their own children. I cringe every time one of these interviewers asks her if she’s going to have children. I truly hope she doesn’t lose herself in all of this and can continue to focus on herself, her mental health, and her recovery

I dont believe her story about the grandfather. I think she's making things up for more drama and sympathy. Just like Casey Anthony accused her father of molesting her and her child Caylee. They recently took and passed a polygraph to clear their names.

Her family loves her even the step mother who usually gets a bad reputation. Having a good step mother can change your life. I wish Gypsy had her many years ago. But she there now and that’s what counts.

Let's keep in mind she was an adult but instead of fleeing and getting her mom help or even reporting her she carefully planned this murder letting someone else take the fall. I didn't even know about Muchausen by proxy until I hear about Gypsy's case. I think Gypsy's story will help others become more aware of this disorder.
I already knew about MBP because I've a Bachelors in Psychology. We studied it briefly in college. Plus I think it's really interesting. My mother was sick for 10 years of my childhood, starting when I was 1. My mom was in and out of hospitals. They had her on 20 plus medications. I was abused too with out going into the exact abuse. My grandmother fostered children and I was abused by one of the kids daughters. My brothers were very hard too my oldest would burn my Barbies, tie me up to poles, try to put me in closets, scare me with Halloween masks and Halloween hands. So I can definitely sympathize with Gypsy!❤
@@Monkey-fc9ncI have a BS in Psych too and actually chose Münchausen By Proxy for a research project in Abnormal Psych. It really is such an interesting condition and there is a gross lack of awareness of it. It’s incredible hard to prove and convict for too. In my research I found loads of court documents of cases of mothers charged for it. Almost none of them were found guilty

Your instinct is right! Yes, what happened to Gypsy by the hands of her mother was wrong. But Gypsy is not as innocent as she appears. The 7 years before her mother's murder Gypsy had no more unnecessary medical procedures. Her mom was very sick and mostly bed bound. Gypsy would sneak out in the evenings to meet men for sex. She had sex right after her mother's murder and walked sound making brownies while her mom lay dead in the other room. She picked out and stole the knife that killed her mom, she was the mastermind behind the murder. The mainstream media isn't reporting this side of Gypsy. She's very cunning and learned from the best. Now, maybe prison really turned her around and if so then that's great but I'm apprehensive.

I do NOT BELIEVE the boyfriend deserved Life in prison!!! I do believe that she deserved some prison time, i do believe that part of her early release should have included EXTENSIVE THERAPY 💯 as she will need it.i just WONDER what's her stance on the BF who murdered the mom will she visit him? Will she keep in contact? Those questions‼️‼️ and THAT'S IMO‼️
FINALLY! Someone who’s not blinded by what this woman did. It is truly amazing how many people have been so sympathetic to her when she had this man brutally murder her mother. In a network interview I believe it was with NBC when asked about her ex boyfriend who is serving life she literally said I’ve done my time and he has to do his and then it went on to show her with her current lover, who she is planning on having children with. Her mother was truly a mentally sick person to do what she did, but Gypsy could’ve walked away. She definitely was of age at least 19 years old, but she wanted revenge and recruited a poor sap, who was blinded by what he thought was love to kill her mother in order to please her. I think she’s playing the public and playing the hell out of the victim card, I think she’s cunning and manipulative and used what her mother did to her in order to get only a nine year prison sentence, and now she is being celebrated and treated as the poor, poor little girl, who had no other choice, but to brutally end the life of a sick woman.
If the people defending--or maybe a better term is "sympathizing with"--either or both of them knew the details of this crime (details this platform will not allow me to discuss), they might think very differently. All three, decedent included, are/were sociopaths. You can be both a victim and a sociopath; most sociopaths have also been victims.
