I agree with you that they need to face criminal charges. But there is also the factor that one of the main victims (Virginia) who has come forward has settled out of court for money pressing criminal charges. I don't know about the rest of the victims because the depositions have been primarily about Virginia so far and her statements, with a few other statements from victims. Virginia was recruited at 17 by Maxwell. Interestingly, she was living with her boyfriend as a minor in her parents' home. I'm not saying that she's not a victim because in the eyes of the law, at 17 she would be considered a minor. But, there is a part of me that believes she might have known what she was getting into. When she was 18 (not considered a minor in some states), she was recruiting other girls to come work for Epstein. And it appears that at least some of the girls were able to come and go meaning they weren't trapped in Epstein's home. As someone who is a childhood sexual abuse survivor and who has experience working with rape victims, there is always usually some sadness in the eyes face of a victim/survivor even though they are smiling. I see no such sadness in the eyes of Virginia in the picture with her and Prince Andrew. And David Copperfield said he was at a dinner on the island performing magic tricks. He noticed all the young girls. Though no one has accused David Copperfield of having relations with minors, why didn't he report any suspicions he might have had? I think there are just so many that turned a blind eye to all of this. They may not have had relations with these young women, but I think some knew what was going on.
