Nice muzzle control there...point it right at the guy's face while you take the air tank.
Quick note Drac: the cycle speed would be a bit faster if you twisted the paintball's fill adapter knob all the way down when opening the valve. That's why it was taking a second to recharge the firing tank.
He also let his finger off the trigger right at the moment when wanted to fire again, whereas if he would immediately let go of the trigger, the tank would already be filled for the next shot.

I wish hpa was more supported in American nerf, not even necessarily hpa tanks that need to be filled at specific places, but tiny little air compressors and xpz tanks, please make a tutorial drac

Why are you running accufakes through a barreled system?? Wouldn't soft-tipped fvj's be a better performing option?
Flywheel Dan that would be one of the leading causes of poor performance in this blaster, but I don't think this will see enough war time for it to make a difference.
There would DEFINITELY have to be age limits if these things were implemented. Still a neat concept, though.
A few things.
-With HPA and the expansion chamber if you turn down the pressure after pressurize the system it won't take effect till you depressurize because your regulator cannot backfeed hpa into your bottle that's why you got those irregularities after adjustment.
-also you can install a slide check below your quick connect to be able to disconnect the blaster without closing the valve on your tank.
Tips from a previous paintballer.
Drac, I would recommend getting an hpa line from Amped Airsoft. It's braided and a lot less likely to get crimped.
It has a gas piston like a real gun, that's extremely cool

For your next HPA build, there are several options. XBowZooka? (Xtreme Blastzooka tank in an XBow) Über-MA5? Shoulder titan?
My chips are all in on building an HPA !! It would certainly make the game a little more interesting!!

Charles Anderson spectre likely did his own and the thing is it can hit whatever you like depending on how high you put the psi.

1:01 Drac, you just pulled the tube out of the Quick-Disconnect, the QD itself uses a spring loaded slide to lock down, which you pull down to detach.
Only problem I see is that the placement of the hose would impede using banana mags. But at a certain point you might as well use a drum if you want high capacity.
VladtheNerfNeko the revised design that I'm working on currently has the hose intake in the stock, so banana mags are a viable option.

My two cents on the argument of HPA being OP... guys we have to stop doing this to ourselves! Every time someone comes up with something cool we choked up and we’re all like “buh buh but it’ll break the game!” No it may change the game and that’s good. We need a constantly changing and dynamic hobby. We need to encourage these bold ideas instead of shooting them down. Also you could have HPA only rounds or include limits on them. The same way my club doesn’t allow modded stryfes on pistol rounds. Let’s see where it goes and if it’s an issue we can fix it

Paintball is a thing in Australia it’s just so heavily regulated which may cause most to avoid it. Also paintball stores/sites will sell pod harnesses that will fit the hpa tank and some clipazines. Try paintball stores to refill the tank also.

I'd love to see more HPA. I had some ideas for an HPA machine gun, but I dont know if the community will buy it
The issue with HPA is that there is alot of misunderstanding and frankly false info floating around. HPA is about more consistent shots & more shots over all without needing to manually prime blasters for each shot. You can certainly dial up the fps for more power, but there are manual prime blasters that easily do over 200 or even 300fps ( home mades and drain-blasters for example )- HPA simply gives you the option for semi-auto from a large air supply, no need to pump, prime or rev flywheels. They are no more dangerous to be shot with than any other blaster- more dangerous to the user if they have a failure at the bottle, but that's unlikely unless they do something silly like belly flop onto the tank and break the regulator body in which case the air just dumps instantly & they need a change of underwear...

I don't think you understand the points I was making- it's a not a case of whether YOU care, it's more about informing people who organize and run events and refuse to allow HPA blasters for no good reason other than they think or heard they were very OP. Any blaster can be made OP with enough work.
SuicideNeil - you hit the nail on the head. If a blaster is below the fps cap and is firing foam darts then it shouldnt be a problem. Most HPA regs, valves, and oprvs are lockable to prevent tampering mid game as well. Also with chronying HPA is as safe as regular springers or flywheelers
