I have one of these and I wasn't happy with it. I don't think it killed any mosquitoes, but it killed many lacewing bugs which are beneficial insects. I just unplugged it and no longer use it.
The 1 acre one took longer to clear the mosquitoes, then a smaller one. My neighbors must be happy. It took about a month for me to walk outside without a shirt, but only a week for the smaller one. I think the bigger unit is attracting mosquitoes from a larger area, so it took longer to clear.
@@ZaatarGardens I don't think it works as well with out the bait. I change the bait and check the light only when I start getting bites. Also, some cheaper generic lights don't work, I only order from Dynatrap.
I have one and it has been running for almost 2 weeks. There MIGHT BE a 50 or so dead mosquito's, but probably not that many. Moths? It is the destroyer of moths, no doubt. Seems like it attracts everything BUT mosquito's. But that is what I bought it for-blood suckers. It will be going back to Amazon, and I do not recommend this product if you are trying to catch mosquito's. And yes, I have their bait, isn't doing crap. Do not recommend.
Oh it get sucked down into the fan and through the cage but it’s emitting the CO2 360° around the machine. It works really well but especially if you put baits. that’s when you just start seeing them actively flying in there it’s actually amazing to see it.
The lure is not needed but if you use it they say that it increases the capture rate. So far I’m withholding judgment on pollinators and beneficials. I’ve only seen one lace wing, no bees, no lady bugs etc.
@@ZaatarGardens Thanks for your insights! I'm thinking about getting it as well as I'm looking for a good solution to my mosquito problem. Please keep us posted.
After filming and watching it, it’s a lot louder than I thought it would’ve been on film but in person it’s not as loud. Like when I leaned back you hear it’s a lot less loud but I’ll take that sound over being bit up 🦟
@@ZaatarGardens oh, yeah, totally worth it. I'm usually the food truck the mosquitos wait for. Alls I'm saying is I can't handle another alien probe, and that humming sound triggered me. (I kid) 😆 🤣
Very satisfied, but it really truly works when you buy the baits for them - the light itself even though it says it emits a pheromone that attracts mosquitoes. It’s still not anywhere near using the baits with it.

Any updates after a year of use?

Interesting, did you use any of the baits they sell?

Same 👎🏽
Can you recommend anything that works better. I'm in a living hell
Mosquitoes**
Apostrophes don’t pluralize.
Oh so the mosquito lure smells like bad body odor? Well at least now I know why I attract more mosquitoes than others
will this also get flies?
Just a question of logic, if the light product CO2 how does that come out the top and not get sucked down by the fan?

Thanks so much! How important is it to use the lure? Is it also effective without the lure? Is it true that it also gets pollinators?

Yep definitely will be updating for sure. Unfortunately gardening and mosquitoes go hand-in-hand
Can it get rained on? Or do you bring it inside?
Outdoor use 24/7
@@fredp3088 thanks. I ended up getting a couple. They have worked surprisingly well
Whats the name of the bait
Can it be used indoors?
How much did it cost
Immune was about 150
That looks pretty cool, but it does sound like an alien spaceship coming to get me...

If the machine isn’t making a noise, is it still working?
Nice review
Thanks!
Do they die in there or what?
Dehydrate
How's the unit been since then? Still satisfied?

That was a very weird reaction to your dog lol hajajaj you're very extra by the way lol hahaha
You must know that 100 mosquitos on 2days is a drop in the bucket
Yeah…. it’s better than having 100 mosquitoes not in that cage
It is a drop in the bucket, but just think, each of those mosquitoes can't lay thousands of eggs for future generations.
Time lunch!
Bunch of crap! Replacement bulbs are $30 for two. and they charge you $27 dollars to ship them!!! >:(
