After Midnight is probably your first introduction to greggreg’s songs. He really blended the middle ground between FNF and actual music. I actually love the song due to how Brooke’s vocals and Prange’s guy harmonise and the whole funky first section later replaced by almost actual rapping is very good, at least to me. Yeah the mod is supposed to be a joke mod, but overall it’s a love letter to the FNAF community while also adding a spice of something new in the form of a story and adaptations of BF and GF. Branching off with something of their own, and the tonal shifts represented by songs like Trapped, Restless, Watchful and Followed really serve a breath of fresh air from the usual joke-y and funky feel of the mod. Overall I’m intrigued for what Ourple V4 is going to be like. I may not agree with your opinions on this one and I think you were a lil bit harsh on some of the songs and the whole story aspect, but this was a very nice video to watch.
I can’t fully explain Miller, because that would mean I would have to write an essay. I’ll just boil it down to this: Henry Miller is very evil. Jack and the rest go and try to kill him to let everyone move on. But Henry uses words and the harsh reality to knock them down. That is why Steven, Peter and Dee almost get no time. Also, this is supposed to mostly be a confrontation between Henry and Dave, the one who he manipulated for very long. That’s why Dave is mostly singing. It’s a full reference. I guess that’s fair. I just wish that confrontation section between Dave and Henry had a more exciting instrumental. Song would probably be an easy S Tier. That part of the song in particular just doesn’t click with me. Such a shame cause otherwise the song is a banger and I really like it. Would have been an S Tier on the same level as my top 3.
To cover the point you made during Trapped and any story-related songs... Ourple started as nothing but a joke mod, sure, but now it's become something more. It's still goofy, but the devs wanted to give it a more grounded world and I think that's fine. As for the tonal shift and songs like Restless... it's not solely a mod about things made in the FNAF community, but FNAF as a whole, Restless and Watchful serving as FNAF 4 minigame rep. It's not "conflicted on which tone to keep" as it is just "love letter to all things FNAF through it's own world". I may not agree with this ranking as a big Ourple fan (and find the usage of words like "bland" or "boring" with no notes to improve repetitive) but all in all this is a neat watch. Also... call it a hunch, but you may just not like atonals lol

I do disagree with a fair bit of your takes here, but this is still another great ranking. Sad that you didn’t like Ourple a whole lot but at least there still ended up being 4 s tier songs so it still got the job done. I personally really love most of the songs but I can’t help but agree that the songs for me are either really mid or amazing. Surprised by Watchful being number 1 though, that caught me off guard. I’m one of the 4 Watchful fans as it’s just pleasant the whole way through and never has a low point. Super underrated song and glad to see at least 1 person give it the justice it deserves. For the takes I disagree on, After Midnight is definitely the one I disagree with the most. It feels like they’re just having a really heavy beef with each other and are just dissing one another. I know it’s a very mixed song in terms of reception but it’s B tier for me. Lastly I wanted to say that I kinda agree with Bite. I overall like most of the song and Golden Freddy’s section hard carries with Bonnie and Chica trailing behind but still being good but yeah Freddy and Foxy drag down the song a bit. Freddy much moreso as he slows down the song during his second section and there feels like a lot of dead silence that could have been filled up if Freddy had a proper chromatic or even if his atonal was used better. Speaking of bite, last final thing I wanted to mention was if you could give me your thoughts on Sayonara’s Bite Mixes for fnaf 2, fnaf 3, and fnaf 4, respectively named Boned, Burned, and Birthday in order. I personally love the songs a whole lot and I would just like your opinions on those songs and if you could give me your thoughts on them if it isn’t too much of a hassle on your part. The king of hot takes is back, and he brought a flamethrower. Watchful being first was... actually not a shock to me, it is one of THE most underrated songs in FNF history in my opinion (partially due to its placement in the mod being in the middle) also i find it funny that fear is dead last and watchful is the top pick due to their connection. While (more like IF) your readin this, i should actually bring a short mod to your attention that i think you'll enjoy: "Friday Night Shift" a short and sweet mod, another fnaf one but its soundtrack is GOOD. it has its lows (Im looking at you aftermath) but it has some REAL nice highs, best part is its more so just a vibe mod that isnt really intense which surprises me! It even has a unique song where you can actually customize it a bit, which is neat but the best part is its SHORT AND SWEET, gameplay takes only half a hour so a short vid!

My problem with Ourple Guy V2 is that like, 80% of the ost was released on RUclips actual MONTHS in advance so people who were subscribed to the artists got worse experiences because of it

I don’t have to “rethink” anything. I rank all the songs based on how I enjoy them musically. And I would rather listen to Fredygame over After Midnight any day of the week. I just prefer how it sounds and the pop off points sound way better. After Midnight just sounds messy. The tone feels all over the place during the tonal shift and more importantly I just don’t like Brooke’s chromatic. It sounds off. FREDDYGAME is just a bop. It’s not perfect but it’s much more enjoyable music wise for me.
I agree with Ourple Guy not being for everyone, but I don’t agree with the fact that you think Neo has a bias against this mod because it is a joke mod. VS FNAF 3 is mostly comprised of joke/less serious songs, and Neo likes it. He just doesn’t like some songs and you can disagree with him (like me and others), but don’t say he HAS to change his view.

Funkin’ at Freddy’s overworld, collection and more look fantastic to play, but if the songs aren’t good, I don’t like the mod in general. Thank god Jannicide and Just a Theory V2 are already SS-tiers imo. Also, small tip if you are still working with Ourple Guy: please make it so that the lore can also be understandable even if you don’t explore the page, otherwise people who just download the mod have no idea what’s going on.
Pluto’s Reprisal would make for an interesting ranking, it’s a mod with some very high highs and some low lows. It’d also be quite a long ranking with about 40 songs across all four parts.
I’m one of the three Watchful enjoyers, I genuinely loved it in v2 since it’s the only one I liked in V2 and then v3 happened in it easily solidified a top 5 spot S tier easily Though I do prefer the alarm clock on beat to the ending of v1 that had much more finality to the song and it slapped

@@jasnaantolicbozinovic3434Nah don't worry, i'll awnser it, ok so the reason i like Restless so much is probably because, well first i actually really like the Crying Child's vocals a lot, they slide super well in my opinion, and when he reaches higher notes, it just gets even better, and really emphasises the sadder feel of the song which fits with the Crying Child and FNAF 4 overall, speaking of which i could also like it because i kind of have a FNAF 4 bias, and seeing all the cool backgrounds and all just makes me happy, the instrumental is also pretty good and can really pop off at sometimes, however i do have to admit that the song is kind of forgettable and not every part exactly stands out, but i still think it's a good song that deserves some more praise
Performance is my favorite in the mod… I actually prefer the V1 due to me thinking the chromatically are better, ether way BANGER and I’m happy to see it so high

I only care about music for the sake of the ranking. I ranted about the theme during the end of the video because I wanted to share my thoughts on the mod as a whole. Also if you’re referring to Trapped specifically, it’s more of a tonal whiplash problem because Trapped is directly in the middle and feels out of place due to being just thrown in the middle of the OST.

I checked you catalog of mods you have checked and ranked and i noticed that a old...ok not so old mod that could be put on the list of mods that could be ranked and it would doki doki takeover + and bad ending if you want to do those three
Pretty enjoyable watch but I have an opinion I can’t understand being trapped’s placement, I definitely think you were way too harsh on its placement (if it’s there for spicy take purposes I get it) but how can you say showtime is better? The art and instrumental are great. I do also ask how much the community hype effected the ranking, because I can’t really say that’s fair on the song at all, and finally the whole serious tone, why is it a problem when trapped does it, but the others are fine?
So, me personally I just didn’t really like it much. It’s a meh song all things considered. Salavage’s chromatic is just too weird for me to really like, the instrumental is ok but it just doesn’t feel like the emotional tone is warranted. I feel more bored than anything with Trapped. And it’s not there for spicy take reasons, just because I’m not a fan of the song compared to the others. And that one doesn’t get a pass because of one key reason. It’s too close to the middle of the mod. Terminated at least makes total sense because of how Henry’s been represented throughout the franchise and he deserves that special recognition and respect (which is more than V2 of this mod ever gave him), Followed and Miller are both the finale songs so they don’t suffer from the tonal whiplash Trapped has to deal with being between 2 goofy songs. Hope that clears that opinion up.

Watchful is number 2 for me because it’s how you access fear… and i think we all can agree that the only good thing about fear is that beat. And that beat isn’t very good anyway. Watchful and followed are tied for me so that is the only reason its number 2 on my personal ranking.
If you like dismantle's instrumental then you should listen to "Vs Susie" from the Deltarune chapter 1 soundtrack. Dismantle actually borrows heavily from that songs main motif. I don't really know why since they're not related in any way but it's still cool.

Saw Trapped in the first half AND under Cake, and i figured this was one of the MOST hot-take-filled you've done so far. (Putting Lurking so far in the list? That shit was better in even V1...) I’m actually glad I did. I ended up REALLY liking the top 3 and I gotta admit, the A Tiers and B Tiers were all good. So even though a lot of these songs were bad and mid, the good stuff was worth getting around too.

Yeah the original Lord X chromatic was an altered Tricky chromatic in Execution. Me personally I think Execution is an underrated banger even though from an objective standpoint it’s pretty...not great. But I’m a sucker for the beat sooooo 🤷♂️

I definitely agree, I just never really got the appeal even if the newer updates help me appreciate it more. I overall like most of the song and Golden Freddy’s section hard carries with Bonnie and Chica trailing behind but still being good but yeah Freddy and Foxy drag down the song a bit. Freddy much moreso as he slows down the song during his second section and there feels like a lot of dead silence that could have been filled up if Freddy had a proper chromatic or even if his atonal was used better. Speaking of bite, last final thing I wanted to mention was if you could give me your thoughts on Sayonara’s Bite Mixes for fnaf 2, fnaf 3, and fnaf 4, respectively named Boned, Burned, and Birthday in order. I personally love the songs a whole lot and I would just like your opinions on those songs and if you could give me your thoughts on them if it isn’t too much of a hassle on your part. They are all on the long side but I think all 3 of the songs are worthy of a listen. Anyways that’s all, hope you see this comment, good video and thank you for validating us 4 watchful fans.

Watchful being first was... actually not a shock to me, it is one of THE most underrated songs in FNF history in my opinion (partially due to its placement in the mod being in the middle)

a short and sweet mod, another fnaf one but its soundtrack is GOOD.
it has its lows (Im looking at you aftermath) but it has some REAL nice highs, best part is its more so just a vibe mod that isnt really intense which surprises me!
It even has a unique song where you can actually customize it a bit, which is neat
but the best part is its SHORT AND SWEET, gameplay takes only half a hour so a short vid!

I don’t have to “rethink” anything. I rank all the songs based on how I enjoy them musically. And I would rather listen to Fredygame over After Midnight any day of the week. I just prefer how it sounds and the pop off points sound way better. After Midnight just sounds messy. The tone feels all over the place during the tonal shift and more importantly I just don’t like Brooke’s chromatic. It sounds off. FREDDYGAME is just a bop. It’s not perfect but it’s much more enjoyable music wise for me.
I agree with Ourple Guy not being for everyone, but I don’t agree with the fact that you think Neo has a bias against this mod because it is a joke mod. VS FNAF 3 is mostly comprised of joke/less serious songs, and Neo likes it. He just doesn’t like some songs and you can disagree with him (like me and others), but don’t say he HAS to change his view.

Funkin’ at Freddy’s overworld, collection and more look fantastic to play, but if the songs aren’t good, I don’t like the mod in general. Thank god Jannicide and Just a Theory V2 are already SS-tiers imo.
Also, small tip if you are still working with Ourple Guy: please make it so that the lore can also be understandable even if you don’t explore the page, otherwise people who just download the mod have no idea what’s going on.

Pluto’s Reprisal would make for an interesting ranking, it’s a mod with some very high highs and some low lows. It’d also be quite a long ranking with about 40 songs across all four parts.

I’m one of the three Watchful enjoyers, I genuinely loved it in v2 since it’s the only one I liked in V2 and then v3 happened in it easily solidified a top 5 spot S tier easily
Though I do prefer the alarm clock on beat to the ending of v1 that had much more finality to the song and it slapped

@@jasnaantolicbozinovic3434Nah don't worry, i'll awnser it, ok so the reason i like Restless so much is probably because, well first i actually really like the Crying Child's vocals a lot, they slide super well in my opinion, and when he reaches higher notes, it just gets even better, and really emphasises the sadder feel of the song which fits with the Crying Child and FNAF 4 overall, speaking of which i could also like it because i kind of have a FNAF 4 bias, and seeing all the cool backgrounds and all just makes me happy, the instrumental is also pretty good and can really pop off at sometimes, however i do have to admit that the song is kind of forgettable and not every part exactly stands out, but i still think it's a good song that deserves some more praise

I only care about music for the sake of the ranking. I ranted about the theme during the end of the video because I wanted to share my thoughts on the mod as a whole. Also if you’re referring to Trapped specifically, it’s more of a tonal whiplash problem because Trapped is directly in the middle and feels out of place due to being just thrown in the middle of the OST.

I checked you catalog of mods you have checked and ranked and i noticed that a old...ok not so old mod that could be put on the list of mods that could be ranked and it would doki doki takeover + and bad ending if you want to do those three
Pretty enjoyable watch but I have an opinion I can’t understand being trapped’s placement, I definitely think you were way too harsh on its placement (if it’s there for spicy take purposes I get it) but how can you say showtime is better? The art and instrumental are great. I do also ask how much the community hype effected the ranking, because I can’t really say that’s fair on the song at all, and finally the whole serious tone, why is it a problem when trapped does it, but the others are fine?
So, me personally I just didn’t really like it much. It’s a meh song all things considered. Salavage’s chromatic is just too weird for me to really like, the instrumental is ok but it just doesn’t feel like the emotional tone is warranted. I feel more bored than anything with Trapped. And it’s not there for spicy take reasons, just because I’m not a fan of the song compared to the others. And that one doesn’t get a pass because of one key reason. It’s too close to the middle of the mod. Terminated at least makes total sense because of how Henry’s been represented throughout the franchise and he deserves that special recognition and respect (which is more than V2 of this mod ever gave him), Followed and Miller are both the finale songs so they don’t suffer from the tonal whiplash Trapped has to deal with being between 2 goofy songs. Hope that clears that opinion up.

I’m actually glad I did. I ended up REALLY liking the top 3 and I gotta admit, the A Tiers and B Tiers were all good. So even though a lot of these songs were bad and mid, the good stuff was worth getting around too.
