1:23 I can tell where the hatred comes from, at least in some cases. There are some men - some, I am not talking about everyone - who don't care about the woman's feeling at all. Firstly, they don't fulfill their obligations to the first wife so how they will be able to care for two or more ? And some men treat woman as if they have only little value and hurt them with their words. But this is a problem I have experienced and heard of regardless of plural marriages: Men who put great importance that their rights are given to them, and they become angry if the woman makes mistakes. But when the woman wants to have her rights, but the husband doesn't give it to her, he expects her to have mercy on him. I wish some men would treat their wives the same way they like to be treated ..... When a woman gets married she often sacrifices a lot more than a man. I wish, it would be appriciated more often.
But I think plural marriages can also have advantages for woman or for her marriage. Sometimes not seeing each other everyday makes you appreciate the other person more and enjoy the time with him/her more. Also it can be nice for the woman to have a "break". When the husband is with her, she tries her best to cook good meals, to keep the apartment tidied up. When he is not there, she maybe will do things more relaxed
Alhamdulillah, as muslim I stand with polygyny even my mum and sister was once furious but due to their intellect and trust in Allah, they are positive and are not triggered

is this something that you really want though? it is not obligatory or sunnah, but permissible if you are able to. I dont know why many people go crazy on this topic including women, only 1% of households in the world are polygynous, if a woman or a man want/don't want it marry soemone who follows the same.

I swear by Allaah that sisters don´t know what they´re talking about if they refute this...trust me as a sister that u will much happier when u know ur husband is to his other wife than to a different woman every time...Fear Allaah sisters ❤
@@mishmash7776unfortunately, it’s much easier to take another wife than to work on oneself and try to work it out with your current wife. Why would these men change their character if they just can go and marry up to 4 different women? They never question themselves, they think that whatever they do is Allah approved, and if you disagree with them, you’re a kafr. To those men that go marrying other women out of lust I would advice to try and control themselves.

@@Insaniya.humanity I've been following the discussions on this video which have mostly been positive and healthy الحمد لله but I think your points get missed from this discussion so often. Polygyny is halal and beautiful and works for the families it works for but that's not every family. I really believe that if the issue is a true or perceived deficiency with the first marriage that's motivating the husband to remarry, he should at least try to remedy that. He might still want to remarry but at least try so that the relationship has a better chance of being healthy even if there's another wife. Many issues are often resolvable, including those related to lust and desires. Wives also deal with that challenge in many marriages and they don't have additional outlets, so that might make them more willing to do that work to try with the spouse before leaving or giving up in a marriage where their needs aren't met.

Shaykh al islam Ibn Taymiyah, rahimahullah, was asked about a man who married a woman, and she stipulated that he should not take another wife or make her move from her home, and that she could live with her mother, and he went ahead (with the marriage) on that basis. Is he obliged to adhere to that, and if he goes against these conditions, does the wife have the right to annul the marriage or not?
He replied: Yes, these conditions and similar ones are valid according to the madhhab of Imam Ahmad and others among the Sahaabah and Taabi‘een, such as ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab, ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas, Shurayh al-Qaadi, al-Awzaa‘i and Ishaaq. The view of Maalik is that if she stipulates that if he takes another wife or takes a concubine, she has the right to decide [whether to stay married to him or not], then this condition is also valid, and the woman has the right to leave him. This is similar to the view of Ahmad. That is because of the report narrated by [al-Bukhaari and Muslim] in al-Saheehayn, that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The conditions that are most deserving to be fulfilled are those by means of which intimacy becomes permissible for you.” And ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab said: “Rights are connected to conditions.” So the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) made that by which of means intimacy becomes permissible more deserving of being fulfilled than anything else.

The Salaf may have not spoken about such a condition و الله اعلم but scholars from the past, like Ibn Qayyim, discussed this issue and said this condition is permissible because for some people, polygyny is completely foreign to their upbringing and what they can tolerate and accept in a marriage for themselves. Many scholars of more current times like Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen, Al-Fawzan also allow it because the husband doesn't have to accept it to start and even scholars who say the condition is permissible but not binding for the husband including some I just mentioned say it still allows the wife to leave if he remarries and that she can also stay. Brother Shamsi is correct saying some scholars say this condition isn't permissible but many say it is and it's not a strange opinion. This is what Ibn Uthaymeen said replying to the people who take the position that it is not allowed because prevents a husband from something halal. To be clear, I'm also not praising or encouraging putting this condition here but I hope we can be fair and not look at people who did that like they did something so sinful if they took the view it isnt.
وقال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله : " إذا اشترطت أن لا يتزوج عليها فإن هذا يجوز .
وقال بعض العلماء : إنه لا يجوز ؛ لأنه حجر على الزوج فيما أباح الله له ، فهو مخالف للقرآن : (فَانكِحُوا مَا طَابَ لَكُمْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مَثْنَى وَثُلاثَ وَرُبَاعَ) النساء/3 .
فيقال في الجواب على ذلك : هي لها غرض في عدم زواجه ، ولم تعتد على أحد ، والزوج هو الذي أسقط حقه ، فإذا كان له الحق في أن يتزوج أكثر من واحدة ، أسقطه ، فما المانع من صحة هذا الشرط ؟!
ولهذا ؛ فالصحيح في هذه المسألة ما ذهب إليه الإمام أحمد رحمه الله من أن ذلك الشرط صحيح" انتهى من "الشرح الممتع" (5/243) .

The man ended up being rich with four wives and plenty of kids he still come back to Prophet Muhammad after the 4th one and mohammed pbuh told him he how can you be poor
He said the hadith is saheeh and you can early search for it
