Wonderful - what a great job of this young performer!
She seems to take a very structured approach to this music, that might all too easily be perceived as chatoic... Keep on rocking! :o)

Played beautifully! I wouldn't hesitate to put the cello on a microphone to balance out the band.

I have just seen the master version with Heinrich Schiff and Friedrich Gulda as conductor, so this is a more lyrical version, a bit more female in forming and forging the sounds, altogether a little academic and - given the young age of the very talented and dedicated musicians - maybe a bit too much Vienna classic or romantic style, the jazzy parts could attack more, there could be some more exuberance in some phrasings but altogether they are brilliant, giving their best, getting deep into the spirit of the composition - and the cello soloist is really delivering a warm, agile, lively and vibrating sound so it's a great pleasure to see and hear this concert!

Bravissimo. Can you tell me where the orchestra got the parts? Where did they get rent? Or did they make their own edit of the parties?
