I've supported Palace since 1991. I always look forward to when we play. This season is the first season i just can't be bothered to watch. Same old tactics, same old setup, same team. We've become so dull & boring to watch. It's like we've forgotten how to pass, how to keep possession, how to tackle, how to defend, how to attack. I appreciate all Roy Hodgson has done for the club in the last 4 seasons, keeping us in the Premier League, but we really need a change in the summer. A new manager with fresh ideas + we have a squad to rebuild & decide who to keep & who to let go. I just can't watch this dull, gutless & negative "surrender ball" anymore. We used to be exciting to watch a few seasons ago. Dann & Delaney at the back, Cabaye & Jedinak in the middle, Bolasie & Zaha tearing up the wings. Murray in the middle scoring the goals. We used to hit teams on the break. Now we just sit back & let teams do what they like with the ball. What happened?

@@Ollay245 Hodgson should have gone last summer. There were a few games last season where we played this negative style of football, where we sit back & let the opponents have the ball, almost like we're too scared to lose, so we don't attack. This season it's been happening more often & it's depressing to watch. When you play this way against teams like Chelsea or Liverpool etc, you get thrashed 4-1 & 7-0. I don't expect us to beat the top teams often, but i really wish we would have a go.
@@gyro1780 I agree with you, I don't think he was the type of manager palace really needed to push them forward. They still have individuals in yhat team who can kick up the level of football, just need the manager to instill more positive play and to retain the bigger stars
Yeah the premier league is out of reach for us but a win like this is important for us. Talented players like Havertz need a game like this for their confidence as well a Pulisic to return back to his best. We are 1 foot in the semi-final of the CL so playing like this will be a moral booster for us in the CL! Up the Chels! ❤️
