  • EDIT: This build has been nerfed into the ground and isn't worth bothering with. Sorry guys but that's the way this game tends to go and why I don't bother making builds for it anymore.
    This is a dual sword build for Way of the Wise that makes you unkillable if you play to the strengths of the build.
    Inspiration for the build came from the following Reddit post by twothreesix: / status_ailment_build_t...
    Inspiration for the name came from a comment by user Gobbleguts on another Reddit post by Berserk__r which showcased a similar build here:
    / making_wotw_easy_mode_...
    The awesome music at the start came via:
    / 95turbosol

    What an awesome build using rage with general kigetsus armor! Very smart

      Thanks man, and it's fun. There's something about standing there and powering up with Rage that makes you feel as invulnerable as the build makes you. I love it.

    Really missed your Nioh vids like this, good to see an upload👌🏼! Great build
    Edit: Btw you said no Passives from Odachi or Tonfa. But Why not the Passage to the Afterlife passive for more Grapple Damage?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Ah yep, I wasn't clear. I meant to say don't waste points on the weapon specific passives. There are weapon specific passives in the Odachi and Axe skill trees as well as general across the board passives. But the Tonfa skill tree has no generic passives (they are all Tonfa specific). Sorry, I explained that badly.

    Hey Fuzzy! You're back, killing it with these vids. I JUST got back to playing (was obsessed with the new Zelda for awhile--it may look dorky, but I think it's genuinely the best game ever made), and I've barely unlocked the 4th region. Way of the Wise is fucking brutal. But these new overcomplicated dmg modifiers will help. I was actually gonna just wait until the game was complete for Team Ninja (no more patches or DLC, just THE GAME, as it is and always will be). I'm digging this build of yours. I'm still trying to understand the "dash" vs. "evade" attacks. Somebody needs to make a short vid explaining it, bc it seems to be one of the most effective survival strategies (even though I don't know how it works). I saw this dude slowly wreck Date with tonfas and some kind of "no damage" effect. WTF is this magic? Cheers mate! Good to see your videos again.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Hey man, and thanks. Dash attacks are when you hold X and run at the enemy and then when you get to them without ending the dash you hit square (which ends the dash and turns it into an attack). Evasion attack is when you press X while in low stance to quickly move away (evade) from your opponent, then immediately perform a move in attack afterwards. In other words 1) Dash attack = hold x and sprint in, press square to attack, 2) Evade attack = tap X to evade then press square to attack. Hopefully that explains it well enough.
      I haven't played Zelda before (though I own a Zelda baseball cap of all things lol). I went away and played Rime for a while before coming back. Nowadays when I'm not playing Nioh I'm playing Warframe. I love Warframe man. It is probably the best game in existence for making builds.

    • @rickcabrera49
      @rickcabrera49 7 лет назад

      Thanks. So does this apply to strong attacks or even skills? I've got decent dual swords (windstorm) and a Kusa (blade spin). Would it affect those attacks? And where can you reforge it? I know it's an ethereal thang, but I'm not clear on what it gets reforged to. And I'm not clear on this nullify damage effect. It seems to be super important. Somebody (?) should make a video showing and explaining all the new effects and what they do. Sorry for all of the questions, but if there is one person I'd trust to answer them accurately, it is you, my friend. Cheers!

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад +1

      It applies to all attacks, yep, but with a catch. The attacks have to be pulled off with a dash (you know you get it when you get the double sword icon), so stopping and performing a slow build up attack or skill won't proc it. Pretty obvious that you have to be dashing in and then attacking without a break, which is why the easiest way is to use a low stance quick attack first to proc it. As far as reforging goes, ethereal gear always reforges with the top (best) stats it can if you reforge all stats at once. But, obviously you can' t do that over and over, so instead you temper your weapon (triangle key) and use various levels of umbracite (fabled, divine etc) to pick the special effect specifically that you want. It's a better system than doing it random, thought the choices you get are still random - just better. Just know these green effects are only available on ethereal gear. I'd make a video on all the different new stuff, but it's kind of extensive and kind of daunting, plus I got some things going on in my life that are sucking my time up and not leaving me a lot of time to do this kind of thing, and when I do get time it's usually playing to try to get some of the new gear that just absolutely refuses to drop for me, as well as trying to find time to play other games. I still want to play Hellblade, I'm still trying to find time to log into Warframe daily, and I still haven't played Nier Automata or Horizon Zero Dawn or a bunch of other games I'm trying to get to. Ah well, it is what it is. Time waits for no man, even when I beg it.

    • @rickcabrera49
      @rickcabrera49 7 лет назад

      Cool, thanks. I'll look for it when I attack, putting myself in WotW-style harm's way. As for other games, I played through both Nier and Horizon. They both rock. Nier is like nothing I've ever played. You have to beat it 3 times as different characters, and there are many styles of gameplay. I think it's a downright masterpiece and thought it should be a Game of the Year contender. But then Zelda came out. Bare with me, I'm gonna go total fucking fanboy here. It's boring as fuck in the beginning, but once it picks up, it's a marvel. A work of genius that competes with anything available in the arts (shit, and James Joyce and Sam Beckett are my favorite writers--so I have high (falutin) standards). It changed the way I see games. It made me try to wrap my head around the conditions of a "virtual aesthetics," a philosophy of art that revolves around video games that can include yet exceeds photo-realism, storyline, fluidity of gameplay, etc. There are so many things to it that (like the bemused and respected reviewers) I can't adequately describe it. I watched a round table of reviewers trying to explain it to people who hadn't played it (the guys who hadn't played it wanted justification for the 10/10 scores), These reviewers couldn't communicate why it was so great to the others, because what makes it great also makes it hard to compare to other games. It's not just a better version of (x), a mix between games (X) and (y), etc. Don't get me wrong, it's cheesy in many ways, but even that works perfectly. Sorry for the long tangent on it. And I realize it's obviously not for everybody. But, if you are in to open world games, where if you think something can be done, it can, you might like it. Just my opinion. Thought I'd hate it, and it forced a paradigm shift. Who would have thunk it? Thanks for the info on Nioh. It's sincerely good to have you back. Cheers!

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Thanks man and yeah, you've got my interest tweaked with all that commentary. I'd like to play Zelda, but no Nintendo here and unlikely to buy one just for a single game (although, I used to be a BIG fan of Mario Karts, so anything is possible!). I'm also in the beta for Quake Champions and haven't had a chance to do that yet either, plus a ton of PC games waiting for me too (Destiny 2 is coming out soon). So many games, so little time...

    @boss fight score are theese builds still viable today? is there a conprehensive guide for the game explaining how/where you would get this as an when you need it, and what your options are for gearing up for it all?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  4 года назад

      Yes, they're still viable, but since then Way of the Nioh has been released. My advice is forget grinding to make a build until you get to Way of the Nioh and have access to ethreal gear that you can farm via The Abyss. Only do what you have to do to get to Way of the Nioh, even co-op to get help just to get there. Otherwise imo you'll get burnt out on the grind, whereas the real builds/grind starts in Way of the Nioh now.

      Just pop the talisman anytime. As long as it is active, it'll purify automagically. I always pop it in advance.

    Got everything without ethereal version of ranged weapons. Where to get theme?
    Can i put There any other ranged weapons that give me damage reduction 2.9% with w pcs?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      I got most of my ranged weapons doing the Kigetsu armor farming run (the other vid I made). But, you can also have a good shot at getting ethereal ranged weapons by doing the One-Eyed mission farming run where you run to the corpse and rinse and repeat. I got 2 ethreal ranged weapons doing that in about 2 hours, so it's not great, but it does work.

    Hi
    Where u get etheral master swordsman parts of set?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Marobashi (the dual swordsman master) or The Grimmest Blades dojo mission. But honestly, don't bother farming for it. I've tried. I've done both missions hundreds upon hundreds of times for nothing. I gave up actually. To be honest, it was farming for the ethreal version that ultimately made me go and play something else. The drop rates are abysmal, even with max equip drop rate and max luck. Basically, if you get it you're just *really* lucky.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Interesting you should say that. I ran Sennin slightly modded for a hammer build at one point (as I saw nobody ever used hammers and I wanted to be different). That is the same as an axe build though (and pointless, since Axe's do so much more damage). But yep, with slight tweaks it can be used with diff weapons.

      It can be reforged, yep.

    • @hambasanioan7020
      @hambasanioan7020 7 лет назад

      cool, thanks for answering. Does it need to be on a specific armor like hands, because in another video I have seen it on the weapon also. Another question will be does the armor/weapon needs to be ethereal or it can be also divine? I am on the way of the wise. Thanks in advance.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад +1

      No problem. Yeah, reforge it on your hands. You can get it on your weapon too, however, if the enemy debuffs your weapon then you'll lose it. This can be frustrating as it means you'll run in to try and get the damage buff only to realize you aren't going to get it but not until you try for it. I find that annoying which is why I don't bother putting it on my weapon. And yep, must also be ethereal. These perks don't roll on divine gear.

    • @hambasanioan7020
      @hambasanioan7020 7 лет назад

      Ok, I understand, Thanks for the answer man it helps me a lot. I have another question that it is not related to your video. Does the Magic stat from your character affects for example how much -% Armor the enemy gets if i hit him with weakening talisman or the duration? Another example would be if i pop Carnage talisman does it gets me more damage if i have higher Magic stat or it's duration is increased? I have never tested this so maybe you have done some research or have you heard something related to this. Thanks in advance :).

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Yes, magic stat affects magic power, which in turn affects your spells. Same goes for Ninjutsu. Sometimes it's actual power, sometimes it's actual duration of the thing. Either way, the higher your stat the better (with diminishing returns occurring about half way up the stat ladder).

  • @derhassbringer8011

    @Fuzzy Bearbarian, thank you for the build. I used the full armor of the exceptional, like you said in a previous Video from you. It shoud be the most dmg Build for non situational dmg, as you said^^ whats your opinion about 6pcs armor of the exceptional? Shoud i farm new gears for your Chakku Norisu Build? thank you for answering :)

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад +1

      Honestly, it depends on your play style. However, I find some missions in Way of the Wise are just too difficult if you move slowly, and you definitely move slow with heavy armor on (even with weight reduction). One of the reasons I made this build was because I went through Way of the Wise with my Sennin build but found myself struggling on 3 specific missions (Return of the Gourd, The Sparrow Flies Again, & The Dragon Returns), and that was entirely because the enemies are fast in those maps which makes avoiding them (or rushing them for dash attack perks) difficult when you're slow. I actually couldn't even complete The Sparrow Flies Again with my old build. Then I made this one and I destroyed all 3 missions without breaking a sweat first time. So yeah, I say go for a build like this. But if your play style is different to mine, who knows, you might fair better with a different build. I mean, you do have to play to the strengths of this build (low stance quick attacks to proc your nullify/x2 damage perks) etc. But it becomes second nature pretty quickly, and then it's hard to go back :)

    • @derhassbringer8011
      @derhassbringer8011 7 лет назад

      thank you very much fuzzy :) i farmed all the pieces and rolled them like yours. But i noticed straight away that i cant block that much as with heavy armor. im used to block a lot, but with his i cant. i Need to change my playstyle im sure it will be good. but i have still one question, how would you allocate the skillpoints with lvl 520?^^

  • @dfghdfsbfgh
    @dfghdfsbfgh 7 лет назад

    Is SotC sometimes hard to execute, or do i just suck at this?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Yeah, sometimes you can end up standing still and doing nothing. It's meant to be about a sheathed sword, so the trick is to put yourself into a sheathed sword mode as fast as possible. The move is R1+O, so what you can do is repeat the move quickly twice in succession. The first one is kind of a tap of the O to initiate the sheathing animation, then do it again to initiate the actual Sign of the Cross. It's a bit difficult to explain, but basically with practice you can get a feel for kind of double pressing the move to guarantee it fires off. Also, when you're building up power you can let it go early for a less damaging SotC (useful for when enemies are going to get up before you'll finish the whole move or when enemies might be about to hit you before the move is complete).

    • @dfghdfsbfgh
      @dfghdfsbfgh 7 лет назад

      Yeah, been practicing with it abit, and i feel like, when i do the R1 a millisecond or two before the O, i succeed everytime. Might just be a personal feeling, but who knows, took some time to get used to. Great video! Might i be so bold to ask for a revenant drop? Haven't gotten to the part yet where i can farm neither Marobashi nor the Kigetsu on WotW.
      Been trying different builds often, so i can't progres as fast atm.

    • @fuzzybearbarian

      Nearly all of the areas, but not quite. My advice is complete every sub mission in every area you have available to you as your priority. Sub missions count towards the achievement bar as much as main missions. If you run out of subs, go back and do mains. Unfortunately there's no shortcut other than working through region by region, but from memory the moment Omi region pops up so too will the DLC region.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      You already get plenty of damage reduction from the gear set, the clan, and the rolls on armor. No point getting more, especially since if you're playing to the build's strengths then you should be invulnerable nearly all the time. However, if you find ki management is a non-issue for you, then by all means, go with more defense. You should always be willing to adjust any build you see to suit your own play style.

    Heading into way of the nioh with a slight variation of this build, using wind talismans and a 3 piece amaterasu instead of the axe, gets me a lot more survivability when i can't proc the invulnerability.

      Yep, the hardest missions with most builds are the sub missions with multiple human enemies to deal with (Return of the Gourd, for example).

    could u do a tutorial on the timing of the shrike?

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад +1

      I'm not actually playing Nioh right now (I'm playing Alienation for some fun, and it IS fun!). But the timing is really easy once you take the time to practice. Go into Marobashi. Aim to practice most of all on the spear guy (since he's the easiest to parry). Dying is okay. Try to eventually get to a point where you can parry all bosses with The Shrike (like I did here: ruclips.net/video/X1UNPbLl3ss/видео.html). You can watch my timing in that vid. But the key is just after they make their attack move you activate the Shrike move. I've found the key to making it work is to make sure you hold down triangle (ie. don't tap it). Hold down the whole combination of keys actually. I find the parry can be a little hit and miss if you tap it, but that the game is more forgiving if you hold it once pressed. It's difficult to talk about timing because timing with each different type of boss/enemy and their different attack types vary. You have to get used to each of them, apart from saying you activate the Shrike immediately after they make their move. Don't rush it. Be patient, but most of all the real key is being willing to die and to practice and practice until you find the precise timing for the move yourself. Once you find it, after that, you'll begin to nail it nearly every time. (One thing not to do is to spam the move. It takes just a single timing, a single activation, and hold down the buttons rather than tap them as you do it). Sorry I can't help much more than that. I grinded myself on Nioh and don't see myself firing up the game any time soon.

      Nope, but it's a good armor set if you like heavy armor. Not the best though. I can't see any circumstance in which you'd choose Armor of the Exceptional over something else, like, say, Tatenashi plus a full damage tanking grace set.

      @@fuzzybearbarian So the build you have here is better? i mean i rarely get hit and my exceptional armor was just for damage i still have level 150 +15 set nearly done with way of the wise >< but when stuff hits me it ... rapes me in 1 hit :D idk proboly since i have amrita gains+ item drop rates on the items not damage stuff... have the attack tho :D...
      Light armour is just for better dash and ki regen isnt it? and with weight damage bonus i get decent dps if i have so heavy armour ? Im fine with the dash on b agility... i think :D havent ever used light ... i just use armor for damage since i dodge 99% times :D but i do wish to be able to take 2 or maybe even 5 hits before i die >< so i wanted to upgrade to ethernal set...

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  6 лет назад +1

      If you've almost finished WOTW but are wanting not to take 2-5 hits to die, then you're going to get frustrated in WOTN as WOTN is brutal, especially the Abyss. And since you're almost into WOTN, I also wouldn't bother wasting time trying to make a new build as you'll just be starting all over again.
      Further, I wouldn't bother with this build I've posted. The damage output has been patched since I made it. Plus, I stopped using it once I got further into WOTN for the exact same reasons you're stating here - I wanted to be able to tank more in the later Abyss levels.
      There are some good builds that help you tank like crazy and living weapon builds that help you pump out damage, but they take a shit-ton of farming to achieve and most of that farming usually has to be done after you've already really beaten WOTN. The one to work towards that I sailed through WOTN with and that I recommend because you can farm it very early (when the Abyss is first open to you) is this:
      4 Piece Tatenashi (for 5 piece bonus, pieces should be everything but chest).
      5 Piece Grace of Oyamatsumi (of armor, it should be chest piece)
      Chest piece: Unusual Armor
      Ranged weapons whatever you prefer (agility damage on ranged weapons)
      Main weapon AND secondary weapon are Kiku-Ichimonji katanas
      Spec primary weapon for skill damage/skill flowing shadow/familiarity bonus damage/status ailment augmentation (muddy)/change to attack (what max skill you have).
      Spec secondary weapon (same katana) for close combat damage/skill damage (lai quickdraw)/fam damage/close combat attack (enemy out of ki)/final blow damage.
      What I do is use each sword for their right moment, and makes it that I get completely used to using the same weapon but in different ways, depending on the scenario. I've never seen anyone play with a build like this, but I freakin love it because it does plenty of damage but survivability is great.
      Have received firearms damage on all armor pieces and on one magatama.
      Have received elemental damage on a Yasakani Magatama and on the Unusual Armor.
      In addition to above point:
      Head piece: Be sure to add Bonus for Absorbing Amrita (Increase Attack), Shortern Recovery Time (Out of Ki), Weight Reduction, and Increase attack (enemy out of ki).
      Chest piece: Zero ki bonus (increase attack), damage reduction (zero ki), damage reduction (status ailment suffered).
      Gloves: Attack, Increase Attack (timely guard), Close combat attack increase, deflect projectiles (timely guard).
      Legs: Weight reduction, everlasting Ki, Bonus for Status ailment suffered (increase attack), lower enemy defense (muddied).
      Boots: Bonus after purification (nullify damage), everlasting ki, running speed, zero ki bonus (increase ki recovery speed).
      Yasakani: Yokai close combat damage
      Magatama: Yokai close combat damage, status ailment augmentation (muddy)
      Run carnage and an earth talisman (grace of oyamatsumi perks earth damage, so it's good to spec for it).
      You can also play around with some of these stats to suit your own playstyle.
      But yeah, I haven't played Nioh in a while, but whether you take any of the above on board or not, just save yourself time and start making your build once you get the first 30 floors of the Abyss open as you can farm them for all the Grace sets you want, and that is very important to getting through WOTN!

      @fuzzybearbarian  6 лет назад

      @@DevillJin Personally I found muddy to be great but only with the grace set that I mentioned as it adds perks for it. I tried different sets and different elements and that was the one that worked best for me. If you prefer a light set though, Hyabusa is great with katana - one of the best right out of the box. In my first playthrough of WOTN I played the whole game through with that set and spec'd for damage as I much prefer light and fast gameplay. 999 levels of Abyss like that were a major chore though, which is why I switched to a tankier set for that as it is extremely difficult to no damage the abyss levels and with that set a single hit can wreck you.

  • @yausingchan
    @yausingchan 7 лет назад

    I am using Tatenashi and roll that damage reduce(status ailment suffered) 18% on the chest piece, so I can go up to 73% damage reduce.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Tatenashi gives you base damage reduction and elemental attack damage reduction, but it doesn't give ailment suffered damage reduction, so with that set and that roll there's no way you could get to 73% damage reduction. You definitely need Kigetsu and Yamanaka clan for that. You can't mix them either as Tatenashi needs 4 pieces to get the damage reduction and Kigetsu needs 3, 2 of which must be armor while all of Tatenashi must be armor. So it's not possible to do that.

    • @yausingchan
      @yausingchan 7 лет назад

      It is possible to roll damage reduce(status ailment suffered) 18% on Tatenashi chest piece. It's 54.3% total damage reduce. If I active status ailment suffered it add another 18%, so total 72.3%. If I am lucky to get both weapon and range weapon with 1 piece of armor from Grace of Oyamatsumi just enough to get the 6 pieces bonus Damage Reduction 15.6%, along with 4 pieces Tatenashi to get 54.3, then ative status ailment suffered 18%, It can goes up to 87.9 total damage reduction.

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Yes, you can roll it on Tatenashi chest piece. But damage reduction doesn't work the way you're suggesting it does. To work that way the damage reduction you're getting must be of the same type. So, damage reduction (status ailment suffered) is a different type to Tatenashi's full set bonus of Damage Reduction. Thus, the damage reduction is taken as a separate calculation on the remaining damage you get. For example, in simple terms, if you got 10% damage reduction by using Tatenashi, then the ailment suffered damage reduction would be 18% of the remaining 90% of damage that you are now taking after the Tatenashi reduction. Hopefully that makes sense. Same goes for elemental damage reduction that Tatenashi gives you vs elemental damage reduction (guarding). Two different damage types, so the damage reduction is calculated in two different ways on two different damage levels. This is why it is impossible to ever get 100% damage reduction, the exception being elemental damage reduction (which you can get 100%). But still, that doesn't stop it all adding up to be a great deal of damage reduction, which is what counts.

    • @yausingchan
      @yausingchan 7 лет назад

      I see, thank you for explaining. Tatenashi + Grace of Oyamatsumi alone will push damage reduction to 69.9%, It's still pretty nice to add another 18% off the remaining 30.1% tho. I already have elemental damage reduction at 100.9%. I have 2X attack on glove and Invulnerability on weapon after dash attack. I can just run up light attack into SOTC until they die, which is really crazy.

    Senin build was hard to kill. Here i die a lot more. 2 hits and The end

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад

      Only if you're not using it correctly. The build relies on two things: 1) Dash attack to get a few seconds of invulerability. If it wears off, evade away, then dash attack again. You can never die this way. 2) Proc ailments all the time. This is the main reason why you have the axe and have carnage is a backup (for when you can't pull the axe out). With the axe you should have ailments on ALL the time. With ailments you can take 4 unanswered hits before you are dead, which is more hits than you can take in the same circumstance with the Sennin build in Way of the Wise. Being able to take 4 hits is plenty of space to be able to pull off a dash attack and get invulnerability as well. All that considered, Sennin is a great build for Way of the Demon, but this build kills it in Way of the Wise. With Sennin there are at least 3 missions in Way of the Wise that you simply won't be able to complete easily, if at all. I for one could not use Sennin to get through Return of the Gourd - the final two bosses melt you because you're too slow to evade/dodge/get away from them and your defense is still not enough to take their hits, while your offense is insufficient to do enough harm while you're in close and in the danger zone. I tried 20 times to complete Return of the Gourd with Sennin and failed every time. I tried once with Chakku Norisu build and blitz Return of the Gourd without taking any damage at all. So yeah, if you want to compare Sennin to this build, Sennin is the baby brother who should really stay at home...

      Fuzzy Bearbarian I think u have right. I need to use this build correctly. Always dash (dash is when i Run and hit Square?)

    • @fuzzybearbarian
      @fuzzybearbarian  7 лет назад +1

      The trick to making dash attack work is to rush in holding X and then press SQUARE without taking your finger off X. Some people take their finger off X when they press SQUARE and this can cause dash attack nullification to not proc sometimes. By not taking your finger off X you guarantee it will proc. I always use Rage with the Axe the moment it runs out, all the time, or definitely just before I know I'll be in a fight, as doing so means you'll get the extra tanky hits, which will help in circumstances where your dash attack just doesn't work or you get hit going in for it. With ailments proc'd you'll be safe to run in and run around a bit without dying instantly. You just have to make sure that if you're struggling with any one enemy that you proc a hermit talisman. This will guarantee that once you get your dash attack off you'll be easily able to smoke that enemy in seconds without worrying about them hitting you to interrupt your subsequent attacks.

      No problem. I do find it easier to use than the others. There isn't a single mission or sub-mission that I feel like it could be dangerous with this build. I run through everything with it no problem and never ever die. The only way I feel I can die is if I fall off a ledge into an abyss or something. You'll get used to playing to its strengths and when you do you'll agree for sure.

If you are in Way of the Wise then your level shouldn't matter as all you'll really need are the ethereal gloves and boots to roll the dash attack and purification perks to get you started.

      It's not so much about fun as it is about speeding up the farming process. Ethereal drop rates are so abysmally low that you need a build that allows you to pour through the enemies you need to farm. You don't need to use OP builds to play the game normally if you don't want to, but you definitely do in order to farm for the best gear and not spend the entirety of your lifespan trying to do it.
