Hey fuzzy big fan, just started playing Nioh a few weeks ago, excellent games but have a lot of questions if you have the time to answer them. Currently just unlocked way of the nioh. I’m around level 610, and around level 35 in the abyss. I’m currently a dual wield build with the master sworsman weapon. Wearing the kigetsu set, master swordsman, and I believe a random grace. I’m just curious as to what affixes I should be going after on my weapons and armor. I’ve seen a lot of people with status ailments augmentation, but I’d be lying if I knew what that meant at ALL. Lol. I’m currently full ethereal besides my pants and main weapon. I still get semi rocked in the abyss. Just curious what my next step would be. Thanks, sorry for the long post
Maybe you don't know but you neglected to mention that the chests next to the general infinitely spawn (bugged, we assume) new gear and weapons every time you open them as long as you don't take the item. This is without having to leave the level. But yes, if you're just farming for Kigetsu stuff then you have to either quit out of the game or run the level in its entirety again.
The Mistborn Yeah, I did know that. That was why I mentioned not to pick up the weapons, but because I was focused more on the Kigetsu I just plain forgot to say anything about it. Probably for the best anyway since half the videos I make these days seem to become obsolete with each subsequent patch. At least this one shouldn't haha.

But the good news is any ethereal accessory can have the -1 set requirements on it. So far I've gotten more ethereal accessories that can do what a Yasakani can do than I have ethereal Yasakani's, so that's something to keep your eye out for.
ethereal Yasakani and yata can also drop from the generals. even with a 450 luck and equipment drop date of 90 i only got 3 yasakani and 1 yata ethereal. i really hate the rng in this game.
Really no reason to farm an Ethereal Yasakani. A lot of ethereal accessories will have the -1 set bonus roll so you can just farm Ethereal Accessories in general rather than Yasakani specifically. BTW, I do this farming run but I do it on Way of the Nioh. After you get to the last Shrine in this video, just open the chests and use Earthfolding (or Travel talisman - I guess you can just walk back to the shrine as well but it takes like 10 seconds more) until you get Ethereal items you want out of the chests. Once I get Ethereals I actually want out of the chest, I take the items and continue to reset until I get one item from each of the two chests. After that, I kill the General for extra drops. EZ loot.
Depends what you want to farm for. If you're struggling sounds like you need a survival type build. Check out my Sennin build for tips on how to become more tanky.
After farming him for over an hour, I got gloves, chest and headpiece ethereals but guess what i was doing in between. Rather than just dying out of the mission, I continued closing the application. So when i was satisfied with my loot and finally died out, I found out I had nothing in my item box. very smart lol
Bugger. Well, at least it was only an hour. I spent 9 hours today farming a full set of Grace of Susanoo armor and weapons so I could test it with a build idea. Leveled it all up to +30 then tested it, only to find out the perks can't be made to work well with anything. A whole day wasted. Ah, Nioh...
No problem. I like this build a lot. I get tired of switching gear up depending on the boss/mission. With this build I can go into them all and just complete them without a problem. After trying a few other builds lately and not really liking them, I think I'm going to stick with this one for now.
Would the whole equipment be used as a construction for the odachi? I also ask you a tip, because I can not do serious damage and I really do too much! THK

Haha dude, I rushed forward to clear the way. I was battling enemies, then you ran in and attacked them too. The Raven Tengu was knocked backwards into me, and that in turn pushed me off the ledge hahahaha. At least, I think that's what happened. My girlfriend was downloading a game, and that was causing my game to glitch like crazy. Anyway, after I went off the ledge I just hung there for like 10 seconds before it told me I had died. First time I've died in Nioh not deliberately in weeks hahaha.
Second time I've died just happened again hahaha. My girlfriend came over while I was helping and started reading these comments. I took my eye off the screen and started reading it too. Put my eye back on the game and I was dead hahahaha. (Sorry to whoever I was helping, my bad for getting distracted).
Fuzzy Bearbarian yeah funny moment. But the biggest moment is when a RUclipsr enter your game. Like making music on computer and someone you love music connect and play with you ;) Would be glad if you add me and want some chat or teamplay Nioh is the game I spent time the more on ps4 ( more than destiny) and I tried all the build possible, precisely with the help of people like you !
Ah, another Destiny fan. I've spent 1000's of hours on Nioh, but still not as much as I spent on Destiny. Oh, and just so you know, I don't add anyone to my Fuzzy PSN. It's a long story why, but I keep my PSN completely free of friends aside from my girlfriend haha, so sorry about that. But I played a fair but of Torri Gate last day or two and noticed I keep getting matched to the same people so I'm sure we'll meet again :)
You can just return to the main menu screen and then hit "continue" if you don't get a drop. No need to close the application. Good vid tho.
Yep, right you are. It's just I prefer to close application as it's less button pressing. But yep, either way.

farm all the red checked missions until you get to way of the wise+ .. once you get there. ALL the way of the strong missions will be a breeze.promise

Absolutely, yep. I rarely use Living Weapon with dual swords.
