Thanks for sharing Sue! I have the Innovis 1600e so I can’t stitch out this design. ☹️ I found that out after I purchased the design! Totally my fault. I still enjoyed watching you stitch. Have a great weekend in PA. I live in KS and we are having some very nice weather right now. Thanks again!
Omg. I’m sew sorry. I learned my lesson that way too when I had that machine. Maybe some day you can upgrade to a larger hoop size. :). Thx for watching. Enjoy your weekend.
@@StitchinWithSue no I gotta hold off for a while. I’m not sure if I’m gonna upgrade again. I started off with just a 4 x 4 hoop and not even a year later I went ahead and got the 1600 E. I absolutely love it. I can do most things in it but there are a few that I can’t do. I just don’t know if it’s worth it to upgrade so that I have a bigger hoop. I don’t sell things so it probably wouldn’t be profitable for me like it is for you. But I can dream 😁
@@beverlyreynolds5686 I hear ya....I think I upgraded every year...lol.....but Im very happy with my current machine..no plans for me to upgrade.....there are those times when the larger hoop is great for certain projects. I don't normally use the largest 8 x 12 hoop....but its nice some of the bells and whistles that come along with this machine along with the larger hoop...be we all have to do what we can afford..and what is best for us....I think you made a great choice with the 1600E.....happy stitching
So, when I make these, I hoop the batting, not stabilizer. When you do this, the first stitching is the placement stitch for the bottom piece of fabric. That way there’s no need to start over and run the stitching after putting batting on top of the stabilizer. One less layer to deal with. Yours turned out cute… love the fabric.
I use stabilizer. Then stitch placement. Then batting. Trim batting. Place fabric. Stitch down. Then continue design. I think that’s what you are asking ?
What brand is your machine? I was gifter a brother SE630 a month ago, so I'm a beginner have not used it yet watched lots of youtube, its a 4x4 but want a larger hoop lol I'm a retired chef 68 years old, and friend gave me tge machine ssys I needed a hobby lol

Time to upgrade?

Is there a bit smaller pot holder!

@@StitchinWithSue no, just stating that I skip stabilizer and start with batting. Just one less layer.
@@charlenesloan5884 oh. Ok.
Will this work on an 8 x 12 hoop?
I love this project. Also the fabric is adorable. Where did you get that fabric? Thank you Sue.
I purchased the fabric thru a seller on Etsy
