The Ariolimax (California banana slug) species I filmed during one summer in northern California always spent more than 12 hours in the classic "yin yang" position. I just witnessed this tonight at my front door. Slugs gather there every night for some reason. I assumed they were mating. Wow. All lifeforms are amazing.
