The Yagnob people of Tajikistan are believed to be the descendants of the ancient Sogdians, a group that inhabited Central Asia during the time of Alexander the Great's conquests in the 4th century BCE. The connection between the Yagnob people and Alexander the Great lies in the region's history during his invasion.
When Alexander invaded Central Asia, he encountered fierce resistance from the Sogdians, especially in the mountainous regions that are now part of Tajikistan. The Sogdians were known for their fortifications in difficult-to-reach locations, including the famous Rock of Ariamazes (also called the Sogdian Rock), which Alexander eventually captured.
After Alexander's conquest, many Sogdians retreated to more remote valleys, like the Yagnob Valley, to preserve their culture and way of life. The Yagnob people, who still speak a dialect of the ancient Sogdian language, are considered to be the living heirs of this ancient civilization. Thus, their connection to Alexander the Great is rooted in the historical interactions between the Macedonian conqueror and their Sogdian ancestors, who resisted his campaigns and later found refuge in the isolated Yagnob Valley.

As a part of Sogdian, I am organizing a fund to help them build home recover their language or spread their language to guangdong province.
Their living is beautiful and glad they survive; however, they are living difficulty without proper infrastructure to heal them when in winter.
Looks like Hunza. We share same region, landscape, culture, difficulties, and probably DNA also as we look similar.

@@BN-ch6bjNo Tajiks DNA in my report, but family tree can trace back to my Sogdian ancestor around 1187-1300 who were from maymurgh.

τα ευρωπαικά φύλα κατοικούσαν ως τα σύνορα της κινάς πριν τις μογγολοτουρκικές επιδρομές το μεσαίωνα. γκουγκλάρισε τοχαρους, γετες κλπ οι γετες ειναι οι προγονοι των γοτθων δηλ των γερμανων και ζουσαν μετα το καύκασο. Οι τόχαροι ηταν ξανθοί κέλτες και ζούσαν στα συνορα της σημερινής κίνας. Όταν οι ουιγούροι τούρκοι εισεβαλλαν στα τοχαρικά εδάφη από τη μογγολία οι τόχαροι εξαφανίστηκαν τους γεννοκτόνησαν όπως εξαφανίστηκαν και οι έλληνες απο τη μ ασια λόγω τούρκων εισβολέων από μογγολία.
