Good questions. I checked some website and it says that the typical takeoff and climb angle for Boeing airplane ranges from 7 to 10 degrees. I don't remember exactly how long it took for an airplane to reach the clouds. My guess is, it is about 3 to 5 minutes depending on the weather condition. No, you won't feel any difference breathing when the airplane climbs up as it is pressurized to 650 mmHg in the sky. Happy flying!
The view at around 4:40 is amazing, I have flown around 11 times to france and im 11 funny but I love landing even though it's the most dangerous part, I hate taking off because the plane goes extremely fast
At what angle is the plane usually at and how long does it usually take to reach the clouds and is it different breathing at the different altitude since the air is thinner
I've flown a total of 8 times (I'm 17) and I absolutely HATE take off. I've flown in relatively small planes, the biggest being a Boeing (not sure the number, to and from Orlando) and I even freak out in that. Any suggestions of keeping calm during take off? I don't plan on flying for a long time, but even watching this video makes me nervous. I love landing!
I'm exactly the same as you. Except I'm 13 and I fly everyone year atleast once. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I'm nervous too. But during take off, you just close you eyes for 10 seconds and then you're in the air!
I had similar ear discomfort problem during my first few flying too, but I found the problem gradually went away after I was more used to flying or when I am getting older. I tried using headphones, chewing something, yawning, etc. They all helped somehow. Basically, the pains come from the pressure change. So you want to make your ears in a position that can handle the pressure better. Keeping your mouse open is the key, at least for me. Here is an article that explains things very well. www.askdoctork.com/how-can-i-prevent-ear-pain-on-an-airplane-201301244187 Hope you can find a solution soon!
Im so excited for my first plane ride! This is so relaxing
Same im freaking out tho
That transition from below to above the clouds is amazing. Taking my first flight this summer. I get window seat
I loved the part in the video where the flying machine took off from the city of Chicago in the United States on July 11th of 2012.
Awesome Video 👍
The grace & power of jets is impressive when on the ground. The kicker is - they can FLY. Thanks Wilbur & Orville!
Thanks! I agree with you :-)
There's nothing like experiencing it in person. I like the feel when I'm forced into the back of the seat - better than gunning it in a sports-car.
Great! Hope you had a smooth flight as well!
i was on that flight!
Last time I was on a plane I was three and have little memories of it.... Now I am 28 and going to be on a flight myself in a little over 36 hours.
For some reason watching that was very relaxing, love flying, although its been a while!
ime so excited because im going india on 4th april 2014. thanks
Hope you had a great trip to India. Thanks!
Beautiful city
I am very scared of heights but by watching this video it is not so scary!

I love flying but the problem is the ear pains, does anyone know any solutions to prevent this before my holiday? Thanks!
Chewing Gum or sucking a Lollipop works for many people.
