This is a very enjoyable kit to build Mark but don't use the black decals for the wheel arches, the area at the bottom of the windscreen, and the trim bits for the front and rear bumpers. They're crap. Paint those sections instead. If you remember in my video they looked shyte on my Bronco. Oh and please don't use the wiper decals. They are soooooo bad lol. Studying the instructions will help you decide which other areas are best to paint instead. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's finished.

Yeah there are certainly more parts in this kit than most, should keep me busy for a while. Sorry mate but I can't see one of those antenna tubes without thinking of you! 😅In a good way of course! I have seen almost everybody else go straight into crawler mode with these, so thought it would make a nice change to speed it up a bit! Nice unboxing Mark, one thing I like about the Tamiya Bronco it looks good as a short wheelbase the long body not a fan of. You are right the price point bearings should be included. Nice starting fast and racing a good idea. That ESC is interesting.

You’re going to love the CC-02, yeah I know Tamiya did it again being thrifty with the bearings / bushings and the drive shaft is plastic and not metal, but for sure, you going to see some improvements in the chassis compared to the CC-01 and I’m looking forward to seeing the speed runs first. It’ll be like watching the scale 3ton machines in action, so next time your on spaghetti junction and a full size SUV is leaning over on the bend, run for your life 😂😂😂awesome 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 😊😊

I use the plastic bushes in my crawlers that use the 1150 and 1050 bearings my scx10ii is full of plastic tamiya bushes I got fed up of replacing bearings cos I’m always in mud .silty slate water etc and the bushes way outlast bearings in that situation for me I’ve not replaced then bearings at all for a couple of years. Just ready now one the front hubs to change .while the bearings I’d change twice a year on the hubs ..if you and rob don’t use them I’ll have them off you ..that esc seems to have a lot of problems connecting to the app to change settings .there’s a few vids on here about the problem with them .I hope you have some luck with it ..👍👍👍
Thanks Craig - yeah I totally agree about running with bushings in wet conditions, especially if there is salt involved! But where the parts are internal like the gearbox I think I'd always use bearings due to the loads on them. You are welcome to the unused bushings mate! Oh yes I did a little research and heard about the issues with the app but we've had a quick test with Rob's ESC and it seems to be connecting OK - he has updated the firmware from the app so I hope they've fixed the issues in the latest release! Fingers crossed - cheers! 😎👌👍

Your high speed idea sounds awesome, a bit of rally racing will be cool. You already decided on colours? Make sure you make them different if you race them... You got a nice car there, gratulations! I have them also. Be really carefully with the body, mine is on some parts so thin, that it would lost the rear bumper! Here has Tamiya not delivers a good job, I has all the back laminaed now from inside. After that, and some other modifications, the Bronco is nearby unstoppable

Dont OD on the tyre smell 😁 you’ll love running it at speed. I put a cheep 14t brushed motor and went pretty well. Just slow down on the corners, mine kept falling over 😂

We have had everything go tits up with our health and financial and with our little lzzy but she is getting better (thank god l had insurance so that was one grace as she had an op) but we are talking our own advice and chin up and roll the sleeves up and get stuck back in! But damn 2024 has been lets say a challenge for a lot of us so far! Loved the build of my first CC02. I had the G500 Merc but put a Lada Niva body on it. I have my 2nd CC02 sat here waiting to be built with the Toyota FJ40 body. If you do decide to go crawling DEFINITELY lock both diffs and change the tyres.... other than that, have fun 😊😊 The tyres a

The good thing about changing the gears from high to low, and visa versa, is you just pop out the gearbox with four screws to get to it.

I'm not much of a Ford fan, but I have to admit that is a beautiful body design, this one, very retro and still super fresh, modern!

Dont OD on the tyre smell 😁 you’ll love running it at speed. I put a cheep 14t brushed motor and went pretty well. Just slow down on the corners, mine kept falling over 😂

@@MarkBryanRC My friend life is a test for sure l hope you and your dear lady are ok Mark? as we get older health issues and stuff in general piles up! We have had everything go tits up with our health and financial and with our little lzzy but she is getting better (thank god l had insurance so that was one grace as she had an op) but we are talking our own advice and chin up and roll the sleeves up and get stuck back in! But damn 2024 has been lets say a challenge for a lot of us so far! Love to you guys to and keep those vids coming Mark lol lt helps you and Rob and it definitely helps us and many others in these times l guarantee!

Loved the build of my first CC02. I had the G500 Merc but put a Lada Niva body on it.
I have my 2nd CC02 sat here waiting to be built with the Toyota FJ40 body.
