I became really confident riding my board, until a car accident that left me handicap for 3 years after affecting my heart. it seems a miracle I have regained my mobility after so much time, and after grieving skateboarding. but i'm getting back into it, and as frustrating as relearning these things is, i'm more so grateful to have the chance to learn again at all. thanks for these videos ❤
Amazing story! Truly an inspiration! My hat is off to you for taking it a day at a time and not giving up on your passions. Not many people would have the strength to push through. I appreciate you sharing! 👊
Thanks! every time ive tried its been either slow or i just go back. people make it seem so easy. but with skating the slightest adjustments change the game
You’re absolutely right that the smallest adjustments make a huge difference. Especially since everyone skates a little different. I hope this helped to get you lined out!
THANK YOU! I'm at exactly where Sergey is now. I know I'm standing too straight, with too much weight on my back foot, but I can't seem to get out of that. I don't know where/how you send you a clip of my attempts though
Honestly it’s just a matter of spending more time on your board and getting comfortable with your balance. It will come in time! You can send a clip to my Instagram under the same name. I honestly haven’t been able to check it in a while so let me know if you do.
Haha, yup! I’m long overdue. Have a few more planned. Just need to find the time to film them. Been loving the shorts you’re putting out by the way. Some pretty inspiring skaters/ tricks!
Im 40 and had tried to skated before this.....i learned how to ollie and kick turn... once i tried pop shuv it..i fell backward and got injured...1 week can't go to work.. 😂😂😂... that day i stop to skate..till now...im not afraid to get hurt haha...not afraid to fall off...what am i afraid was if i get injured how am i going to work to pay my bills 😂😂😂... i should start when my age was 20+ 😂😂
Definitely easier to start when we’re younger. Also more responsibilities as we age. Things you don’t think about until you’re there. Funny how time changes everything one way or another!
Thank you Sergey for providing the examples. Hope it helps others! What trick tips do y’all want to see next?

We have an expression, I'd rather have friends than money, you Aaron are the example.
Thank you sir! I’ll add “like-minded” friends. Definitely important to help you get where you want to be! 🤙🏻

One advice I always gives on tic tacs is to use your shoulder to turn
A key component for sure! 👊

Was trying this the other day and had too much weight on my back foot. The board slipped out from under me and I landed straight on my back
Oh man that’s the worst! You ok?
This exact thing happened to me 2 days ago and it still hurts. I'm too scared to try again but I know I have to
wait i can actually tic tac now
That’s awesome! Great work! 👊
