It reminds me of two episodes of Emergency: (1) #5.3 (season 5, episode #3, Airdate:9/27/75) in which they rescue a person at the base of a cliff and #6.19 (season 6, episode #19, Airdate:3/12/77) in which Johnny & Roy board a Coast Guard helicopter for a rescue on Catalina Island.
