After so many many years, it's so nice to see Northfields Ave. again, especially on such a nice sunny day. For years I've been using this street's infrastructure to travel around. Either by walking to school or taking E2 or E3 bus. Used the Northfields tube station for many years as well. Living in London back in the 90s were the best days of my life, especially in the 2nd half of the 90s and beginning of 2000s. For about 2-3 years I've lived right next to the station.
01:36 this car dealer place on the right has been there since I remember, and that is 30 years! I don't know since when it's actually there, whether under the same name/owner or not, that does not matter as such.
06:02 "Perfect Peri Peri" once was a Perfect Fried Chicken :) with tasty chicken burgers - 24 yrs ago.
18:40 I loved travelling with the diesel engine trains by Network South East, Paddington - Ealing Bdy, and sometimes I used to get off at West Ealing if the train was due to stop at that station, otherwise took an E2 from Ealing Bdy. station to Brentford where I used to live for some time.
Your videos most certainly bring back a lot of memories.
Missing Ealing, Brentford, Isleworth from time to time.

Thank you so much for sharing such a nostalgic and heartfelt comment! It's wonderful to hear how much Northfields Avenue and the surrounding areas mean to you. The sunny day definitely added to the charm of the video, bringing back fond memories of your time in London.
It's incredible how places can hold so much history and personal significance, from the car dealer that's been around for 30 years to "Perfect Peri Peri," which you remember as Perfect Fried Chicken. These little details really paint a vivid picture of your experiences.
Traveling with Network South East and using the E2 and E3 buses sound like an integral part of your daily life back then. It's great to know that my videos can help bring those memories back to life and offer a sense of connection to those cherished times.
Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment. If there's any specific route or area you'd like to see featured in a future video, please let me know. It's always a pleasure to create content that resonates with viewers like you. 🚍✨

@@LondonBusRider I think most of those bus routes that I travelled were already covered here on your channel.
      The ones I used were:
      Brentford - West Ealing/Ealing Bdy.
      Brentford - Gunnersbury train station
      Brentford - Hounslow/Twickenham
      South Ealing - Ealing Bdy.
      Hayes by-Pass - Ealing Common
All of those above were as a form of travel to/from work, school, shopping, university. And a way to get to a nearest tube station like Northfields or Ealing Bdy. if I had to travel with Central Line or the trains to/from Paddington.
Sometimes I travelled from Brentford/Ealing (depending where I lived at a time) to Hammersmith/Shepherd's Bush.
      Busses that I recall: E2, E3, 65, 237, 267, 207
Very rarely I travelled by H91 from Brentford to Gillette Corner where I used to live as well. The H91 was like once every 30 minutes? So it was much faster for me to walk the distance from Windmill Rd. or Boston Manor Rd. , where on many occasions I popped into PC WORLD store, which was just half way through - I think Curry's is there now - especially when walking from school.
