- Are you wanting to change the look of a room in your home? I certainly was! I wasn’t up for a huge room makeover, but I definitely wanted to give a couple of places a nice room refresh and a room reset! I was so excited because I was able to change my space on a budget because I used some gift cards that I got for Christmas! I know some people think giving gift cards is a copout and not a thoughtful gift but I love receiving them! It allows me to be creative and decorate without the guilt of spending extra money! In this video I share some cleaning motivation and some simple decor ideas on a budget that can make a big difference in your rooms. Hi friends! Thanks for being here today! I am so excited to share this video! If you guys remember, I mentioned in an earlier video that I had received some gift cards for Christmas and I might use one of them to replace a broken vase that I had in our home office. Well, I changed my mind and ended up using my gift cards to give a mini makeover to my living and dining areas! 🤣 The changes weren’t big, but I think it made a big difference! Let me know what you think of the results!

I was looking at the Wall Art configuration....I like the idea of the " Gallery Wall " with the New Gift ,plus the other piece ,they compliment one another so nicely..... I think m a y b e one more " thing ".. be it sonething with a similar " feel " as the New ones , but not " matchey-matchy " would Balance it. ...because that look of them separated looks nice . ( These are just my observations, as I watched . Lol)

Love the Chargers, those really look great, just to change it up a bit.
As for that Tree... I think it's a great idea to add Decor to it... it's subtly festive, and adds sonething to that corner !

Another job well done! This is an interesting time of year being between the holidays and spring time which surely does lend itself to more simple, basic decorating. How thoughtful of your friend to gift you with something you love so much. I like most of what you did, especially the new pillows (although I'm not a big fan of tassels, especially with living with a curious cat!). The only part you did that I personally would have changed is what you did over the couch. I like the pieces but I would have centered the darker, larger piece you already had and then separated the new pieces and tried to find a way to arrange them around the larger one. The newer pieces are light enough in color and size that I don't think it would overwhelm that wall. But, that's just my two cent's worth! Kudos for more decluttering and for bringing a fresh new look to your space. Have a wonderful weekend!
P.S. - I've been meaning to tell you. I finally bought a seam ripper to open boxes with and boy, are you right. Game changer!!

DeDe, I love these changes! The dining room table looks modern and fresh!!! Love what you got from your “free” shopping trip! I think it would look good to do a gallery wall over the couch. Use a few family photos (such as the ones on your end tables), maybe the "blessed" sign, anything else you own that could fit in, and split up the new pieces.

I enjoyed watching your quick refresh of the living room and dining room. Ising the same core and accent colors makes it easier to move decor pieces around. That new throw pillow is my favorite piece along with the cross and clock in new positions. What fun to have a friend to treat you for your birthday, how kind she is. The corner just seems so much lighter, brighter and airy! All of those things I already had, but it took me making other changes to realize that corner really bothered me and needed redone! Hello Grace! We are in the same boat, the dining room is the least used room in our home! Even though we don’t use it all that often, it is so close to the front door that anyone that comes in, definitely sees it. I was so tickled that I could make some changes, and it didn’t cost a thing! I love when that happens I think that’s why I love rearranging my furniture!
