The fact that Peter Pevensie went from a older brother of his siblings to Knight of Narnia to a high king ruling over Narnia is a great character arc for him.
To dying young in a train crash with his siblings leaving only Susan alive 😭😭didnt even have kids so his line could continue meaning the pevensie family male line is extinct 😭😭😭

It just struck me when I saw the thumbnail for this video again after all these months, Peter died for Narnia. He died while on a quest as High King to send his cousin and companion to the aid of the current king as the Emperor had banned his personal return, but he took up the dangerous task of procuring the means to send a delegation and died in the attempt. Interesting how he died for Narnia in our world when he'd so often risked death there in Narnia...the same could be said of all the "Friends of Narnia"
Growing up in the 90s Peter was the most famous one in my school so we were pretty hyped to see him first appear in the 2005 movie and William Moseley did him absolute justice.
I really enjoyed this video! At first, Peter was in doubt about his sister's claim to find a magical world in the wardrobe and thought that something was wrong with Lucy. Once in Narnia, Peter started to become brave and more confident as the High King in Narnia with the guidance of Aslan. His leadership became well known and was given the title of Peter the Magnificent. He had a willingness to protect his family from danger. He did have his doubts but overcome it with Aslan's help. In the end, Peter became a great and magnificent High King. 🤴🏼🦁
I gotta say. The moment that they saved Trumpkin was WAY cooler in the books than upon the movie. Just Suzan shooting them like a ghost from within the woods. SO Cool!!

GREAT video! Very well researched and put together. If there's one tiny little thing I would correct you on, it's that Tirian was king of Narnia, not prince, when TLB takes place. Other than that, you completely nailed it! Well done!
Here's a fun video idea you can do next time this can go with your what if videos ask your followers to make fan me countries that fit Narnia and you choose which one's the best or the ones you like the most that fit the Narnia world
"Sire," said Jill, coming forward and making a beautiful curtsey, "let me make you known to Peter the High King over all Kings in Narnia." Tirian had no need to ask which was the High King, for he remembered his face (though here it was far nobler) from his dream. He stepped forward, sank on one knee and kissed Peter's hand. "High King," he said. "You are welcome to me."
You should do a video on the Focus on the Family Narnia Audio Dramas! They are really good and for the most part pretty faithful, though they do change some things.
I think the illustrated copies can be obtained if you buy the box set. I have all seven books in one volume - it has illustrations, but they are not full-page illustrations

You said Peter returned back to Narnia over 2000 years later in 2303 but his first visit was the year 1000. I think you meant to say he returned over 1000 years later. Great video btw!
Peter is my ideal older brother as I never known my oldest brother until adulthood. I loved Narina so much. I thought I loved Narina so much because I am also one of 4 children.
The Telmarines were originally sailors from our world who stumbled into Narnia in a magical cave. Eventually group of telmarine outlaws traveled south and established the nation of Calormen.

Hi! I really love your videos, i wathed them all. Im really interested by the Lord of Time. When we were in the Latter Years of Narnia and there was a giant creature whos cratched the Sun
I always found that brother-sister moment in the movie, when Lucy begs him to play hide and seek with her, and he at first seems a little reluctant, but then he gives her a smile and immediately starts to count, so sweet.
A question for everyone if there were a few things you want Netflix to change about the series or at least go differently than it did in the books what would it be I think a lot of people would probably go with the ending of the series especially when it comes to Susan A lot of people like Susan and Caspian together though they were never a thing in the books and they are way younger than in the Box in there on the movies but she has a better end to her character if she's with Caspian
I didn't like Susan and Caspian together. Ramandu's daughter is his bride. :) My "head canon," and I've said this before...They could realistically make the series, or finish the movies, with the Pevensies as adults, since the rest of the books pretty much have them as adults. They're obviously older IRL than they are in the books, but here's how I would pitch it... First off, my "head canon" is that it's SUSAN who is writing the Chronicles of Narnia, as a way to find her way back to faith and deal with her grief at the death of everyone she knows. You know how they have a "frame story" in England in each of the three films? They could use the original cast (except Eustace, but I'll get to that) if they move the "frame story" 20 years ahead, to the "Swinging Sixties"era in London. In my fanfiction/head canon, Peter is now a barrister, Edmund is a diplomat and travels a lot, and Lucy is a grad student or possibly a professor, working in theology. Susan had such a good time in America as a teenager that she moved there when she finished school. She became a famous author after writing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (the first three books in publication order) from her dreams and the games she and her siblings played as children. Her siblings haven't spoken to her in a decade. She's going on a book tour and sends her daughter, Jill (see how I did that), to England to visit her family. There, Jill meets Edmund's son Eustace, named for Cousin Eustace Clarence Scrubb, who died in an accident before Young Eustace was born (Edmund and Eustace became close). Bored at their grandparents' home during a family reunion, the two go exploring and get transported to Narnia, where they go through the events in The Silver Chair. When they return, they talk to Peter and Lucy, who are at the party, about their adventures. They believed it was all just a story. Note that I leave Edmund out of it because Skandar Keynes quit acting, but there's room for him if he wants to return, or they can recast the role. Peter and Lucy decide to call on their old friends Polly and Digory and have a dinner the next night, where they can discuss Narnia. This ends The Silver Chair. The Last Battle goes about as it is in the book, with King Tirian and the events in Narnia. Then the Friends of Narnia are at a dinner when Tirian appears. They make their plan, then we cut back to Narnia with Jill and Young Eustace appearing, and then we have The Last Battle story pretty much as it is in the book. At the end, when everyone goes "further in and higher up..." The first person to meet them at the gate is Eustace, with Reepicheep riding his shoulder and we have a grand meeting of old friends all around. Then the ending of the film cuts to Susan, reading from her new manuscript and probably breaking down crying. Or maybe reading to a child. They could work in Susan being reconciled with her family a little, maybe make the dinner a little later so there's time for Susan to come back. You can see I never liked how Susan's story was left unresolved and an absolutely terrible fate for wanting a social life. The other stories can be filmed with the original cast, too. The Magician's Nephew is a prequel, so Liam Neeson can provide the voice of Aslan again. Tilda Swinton could play Jadis partly because she doesn't age but also with makeup and visual effects. OR, her daughter is also an actress and model, so she could play Young Jadis. And then The Horse and His Boy takes place when the Pevensies are adults. Technically, the cast is getting too old to play the ages they are in the book, but who cares? Tumnus is described as "middle aged," so James McAvoy could still play him. And they could easily have Susan and Lucy with the actors from the films, and just have Peter and Edmund's roles swapped. In the books, Edmund was there while Peter was off fighting the giants, so they'd just have to have Peter there and Edmund away. Why yes, yes, I have spent WWWAAAAAYYYY too much time thinking about this!
I think the most telling aspect of Peter's character is his immediate apology to Lucy when he learns that Narnia is real. No excuses, no justifications, just an apology.
I didn't know that Peter and Edmund died so young. I really don't know much about the novels, but for me it was a bit too soon or too cruel. Is there a deeper meaning to their deaths on such a young age?
Once king or queen of Nárnia always king or queen May your Wisdom embrace us til the star falldown from the heavens Hail to the great king peter the magnificent
Oh around 2 and 1/2 hours after you posted your video I did actually posted another video of that elevator to narnia prop Ive built on roblox and I did make it so it now opens in the wardrobe room and I added 2 service elevators that go down there that are used for maintnance purposes and the normal sized freight elevator was added later for carrying big things down
And along with that the video shows the freezer room with 6 new boxes of turkish delights I put on shipping paletes and you probably wonder how did I get that in all at once well that was thanks to a very massive freight elevator that is so big its designed for carrying big shipping containers down but I used it for that instead
How Peter wasn’t told he that he was too old for Narnia until he was 14, but Edmond, who discovered it when he was 10, was it told that he was too old until he was 12, one year younger than Peter when he first discovered Narnia?
Wasn't the prophecy false, in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, if you think about it? It wasn't the Pevensie's at the four thrones of Cair Paravel that ended the Witch's magic and reign over Narnia. It was Aslans return. First it weakened her powers over the land, and then Aslan killed her in the battle, putting an end to it. So it was all over by the time the Pevensie's were crowned. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but it hit me today.
In the films he was "reluctant" but, comparatively, in the books he was not. Watch the 1990's television versions (available on youtube) and you will see the Pevense children, Professor Kirk, and Prince Caspian depicted as they were in the books.
Yeah, narnia not for me. I’ve also go crazy and start turning people into stones knowing that I’m fighting an opponent that can just say “nuh-uh I don’t feel like dying”
Thank you for your labor...not sure if you remember but the Lord showed me I think in your last video. He told me to pray for your health. Thanks for confirmation. Still praying for you
Don't you think it's weird that none of the children when they grow up never got married in a series Susan Lucy Edmund and Peter which doesn't make sense especially in the dark ages when they're supposed the other kings that rule when they're gone
@Heero yuy don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying it out of malice....I was half joking around when I said that, lol.....I actually love Narnia just as equally as I do Harry Potter..... they both never get old to watch, regardless of where it's at in the movie
Danke!

The fact that Peter Pevensie went from a older brother of his siblings to Knight of Narnia to a high king ruling over Narnia is a great character arc for him.

The vídeo is it here i waited for so long
Great vid, thanks 😊
Here's a fun video idea you can do next time this can go with your what if videos ask your followers to make fan me countries that fit Narnia and you choose which one's the best or the ones you like the most that fit the Narnia world
Who drew these backgrounds?They’re exquisite
Love the video! 1:47 BTW, what is the name of that book, and where can I get it?
It's the CoN hard bound 60th Anniversary edition. It's beautiful 😍
"Sire," said Jill, coming forward and making a beautiful curtsey, "let me make you known to Peter the High King over all Kings in Narnia."
Tirian had no need to ask which was the High King, for he remembered his face (though here it was far nobler) from his dream. He stepped forward, sank on one knee and kissed Peter's hand.
"High King," he said. "You are welcome to me."
Minor correction: Tirian is King, not Prince.
Love this channel!
Yes, thank you!
We need to see the full map pls let us download it
You should do a video on the Focus on the Family Narnia Audio Dramas! They are really good and for the most part pretty faithful, though they do change some things.
Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen.
Where do you get your beautiful images from? Is there an illustrated copy of the books?
I think the illustrated copies can be obtained if you buy the box set. I have all seven books in one volume - it has illustrations, but they are not full-page illustrations
Thanks for asking. For many of my older videos, the artists are credited in the comments. For the newer videos, most images have been digitally created for this channel.
This will never get old: 14:40
I would love to know where are you getting the images in thumbnails and videos from? They are all incredible.
Thank you! For some of the older videos I used other artists work occasionally, which you'll find credited in the video description. For most of the recent videos, I make the art using digital tools like Photoshop, digital painting, and MidJourney AI.
Fuzzy warmth memories reading these books to my children Plus listen to Focus on the Family cd’s on the road with them when we were traveling. ❤❤❤
You said Peter returned back to Narnia over 2000 years later in 2303 but his first visit was the year 1000. I think you meant to say he returned over 1000 years later. Great video btw!
One of those literature characters, when you're a young boy or girl, that you aspire to. A good of heart, true hero.
Wow the days of the bucket camera are finished?
What intro music do you use?
Oh yes finally him! 😁😁😁
Peter is my ideal older brother as I never known my oldest brother until adulthood. I loved Narina so much. I thought I loved Narina so much because I am also one of 4 children.
Where do you get all the beautiful artwork in your videos??
Thanks for noticing! I used several digital tools to create the artwork for this video, mostly Photoshop and MidJourney.
@@IntotheWardrobe I was guessing that. You do a great job! They are beautiful! Anyway for me to buy copies?
One correction to your video. You said at 13:22 Prince Tirrian, I'm certain he was king.
Yes! Thanks for watching so attentively.
I have a question, I don't quite understand where Telmarines come from and if they are the same as Calormenes???
The Telmarines were originally sailors from our world who stumbled into Narnia in a magical cave. Eventually group of telmarine outlaws traveled south and established the nation of Calormen.
@@IntotheWardrobe thank you very much!!!
It seems content with lots of unclothed girls, or political issues get thousands of views in hours, while wholesome well thought out videos take much longer to gain traction. Keep up the good work!
Hi! I really love your videos, i wathed them all. Im really interested by the Lord of Time. When we were in the Latter Years of Narnia and there was a giant creature whos cratched the Sun
Talk about the races of narnia.
I initially thought Disney and Walden Media made up the fact that Peter's favorite sibling is Lucy.
But no! It was C. S. Lewis himself who said it.
I always found that brother-sister moment in the movie, when Lucy begs him to play hide and seek with her, and he at first seems a little reluctant, but then he gives her a smile and immediately starts to count, so sweet.
Peter was the prime example of the symbol goes into battle regardless willing to risk god life win or lose
The ending of the italian movie That's life by Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo is the closest thing we ever got to a Last Battle adaptation.
I would love to get a standing desk at my next place
A question for everyone if there were a few things you want Netflix to change about the series or at least go differently than it did in the books what would it be I think a lot of people would probably go with the ending of the series especially when it comes to Susan
A lot of people like Susan and Caspian together though they were never a thing in the books and they are way younger than in the Box in there on the movies but she has a better end to her character if she's with Caspian
I didn't like Susan and Caspian together. Ramandu's daughter is his bride. :)
My "head canon," and I've said this before...They could realistically make the series, or finish the movies, with the Pevensies as adults, since the rest of the books pretty much have them as adults.
I wish I could go to another world like Narnia and leave this one behind.
I didn't know that Peter and Edmund died so young. I really don't know much about the novels, but for me it was a bit too soon or too cruel. Is there a deeper meaning to their deaths on such a young age?
Once king or queen of Nárnia always king or queen May your Wisdom embrace us til the star falldown from the heavens
Hail to the great king peter the magnificent
Amo el personaje de Peter Pevensie El sumo monarca de Narnia yo lo considero el mejor personaje... El mejor Rey...
Society needs more stories like these. BRING BACK THE NARNIAN STORIES!!!!
High King Peter, the Magnificent
Thank you for your labor...not sure if you remember but the Lord showed me I think in your last video. He told me to pray for your health. Thanks for confirmation. Still praying for you
Prayers answered and appreciated more than you may know!
hings and people who are good live for ever to Aslan's side.
Don't you think it's weird that none of the children when they grow up never got married in a series Susan Lucy Edmund and Peter which doesn't make sense especially in the dark ages when they're supposed the other kings that rule when they're gone
now this is a story worth reading unlike Harry Potter
Hey, don't hate on Harry Potter
@@marjoriemaluca1396 i'll hate all i want its a free world and from my view HP is a decent idea but the story sucks
@Heero yuy don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying it out of malice....I was half joking around when I said that, lol.....I actually love Narnia just as equally as I do Harry Potter..... they both never get old to watch, regardless of where it's at in the movie
