Question!!! When you first cut your hair did you start with a deep side part or did you have it cut with parting your hair in the middle so you could style to either side?

I have your length hair but it’s stacked in the back a little more and I can not curl my hair without it looking like Marilyn Monroe. I can do the long wave curls but it stills ends up looking that way. Do you have any tips?
I really, really like this hair style but I can't seem to get the hang of dragging the curling iron. I know exactly what you mean and my curls end up being pouffy. Are you releasing the handle on the curling iron or does it just slip through?
You can slow down the video to 50% or even 25% and watch her hands. I'm able to do this technique but to learn it I had to watch it in slow-mo. I looked at what hand was holding the iron, and what the arm and hand motions were when the iron is pulled out, and then the next motions, to learn it. I noticed if it was clockwise or counterclockwise motion, etc. It's helpful to practice learning the motions of a new technique with a cold iron!
