I'm a writer who just discovered your channel by complete chance because I was looking up videos for typing on an iPad screen. I just looked up your other videos out of curiosity and you now have one more subscriber! Awesome channel!
I will never download a BAY- (long a) TA version until fully vetted by you. This was very interesting. The email summary particularly. I don't know if can catch humor nuance, we shall see....because you do it so well. I would not want to miss a moment of it.
Sounds like the replies from the email company were being drafted by AI and not fully reviewed so maybe let Apple Intelligence correspond with them for a bit. That said, I fear basic comprehension skills are declining rapidly because of increasing reliance on AI-driven tools.
Yes it’s beta..but they are late to this functionality and there are plenty of services who do a great job (Quillbot, for one). You need to keep a close critical eye on summaries and rewrites, as you point out. I would not waste my time testing half-baked Apple pies.
I just need a really compelling reason to leave what I'm writing to go to another app for a moment. There are such reasons; I take certain things I write out of Drafts and into an app like TextSoap to do particular formatting. But it has to be a really good reason.
Am I right that you have to open Copilot to go do these things? It's silly, I know, but I can't be bothered to even launch ChatGPT for anything because usually if something comes up that I think it might conceivably help with, I'm deep in another app and I just press on.

That's made my day, thank you.

Thank you. You're a writer, you'll never push those Friendly, Professional, Concise buttons.
The email summarization is about ready to bring me back from android. I manage seven addresses and it really is tiresome to not be able to skim.
Tell me, do you have all seven going into one mailbox? I have four currently active ones and I keep them separate but I sometimes wonder why.

That first part made me smile, that second part made me sad. That was a rollercoaster of a message. Can't see AI having that range, no.

Hmm - copilot does all that? I have yet to be impressed.

It os still a beta 1….and we all know the “speed” that Apple works…i project that the AI will be fully operational at end of Q2 2025…..
Harsh, very harsh -- but quite possibly fair. I wonder if the UK -- or Europe -- will have it by then.
