Jason Mantzoukas has gotta be my favorite Doughboys guest because he's hilarious, is clearly a huge fan, and is a pro podcaster himself. It's also a bonus he's from Massachusetts so can riff with Mitch on growing up there.
an old classmate of mine dated someone introduced and talked about as 'Michelangelo' but he was like a regular white dude and I (being nosy and not really liking him too much) was skeptical. later, we went to a bar and I very sneakily peeked at his credit card when he threw it down to split the bill and it said 'Michael Angelo'. what the fuck
Ooooo gimme dat dough, boys! I’ve stopped listening to the eps on my 3rd shift pod drop timeline and wait for the video Such a wonderful way to end my ‘friday’ since the vid pops just after I get home and pour a drink ❤❤❤
with this and his dm'ing everyones wives on instagram, I loveeee how mitch is always a hairs breadth from a borderline cancelation at any time. I love the big guy
The texture on the long boys is so fucked up these days. I ate two long boys about a month apart from two different BKs thinking it might be a location issue but no they’re are absolutely disgusting.
@@gorgejung307mine was basically like a thickish slice of chicken luncheon meat that had been tossed back in the frier to reheat it after sitting around. The lettuce was brown.

There were originally only three citrus fruits? Seriously? He read that out a only Tim's bullshit detector seemed to register. I've never seen this show before but I'm a dedicated longtime Timhead, so I'm stoked. Must be a fine show.
Most fruits are insanely cross mixed from just a few original plants. Cabbage, broccoli, kohlrabi, cauliflower and a few other plants, all came from one single plant that just got bred in a dozen different directions. Apples were heavily bred in like the 20s. Also a timhead
Next time you get a mcchicken, sub the mayo with mac sauce. It changes the sandwich completely. Also the spicy mcchicken is awful. It's dry, overcooked, and the "spicy" seasoning is just horrible.
Theyre both incredibly talented UCB-crew improv and sketch performers. Nick has written on some of the best comedy shows of the past decades and Mitch is a very talented actor. But yes, this pod is them discussing chain restraunts & being great friends. We love them for it. Find another ep with a guest you're also interested in and give it a good shot. Well worth it. IMO its a lot easier to get into than, idk, hollywood handbook or CBB etc
Yeah I guess you’re supposed to just keep the Simpsons and UCB thing in mind until it starts to sound better in your head. Then the guest gives you those little morsels of what you know you like and that carries you through. Like mixing some kinda protein with your veggies. Just shove it down tho you’ll learn to like it.
Nahhh we love it when the guests jokingly hate the show as much as the hosts jokingly hate the show. Its a fun bit! Also lots of us are comedy nerds, so any jokes that question the structure of a format land pretty well
@@heyyoitsmebrian Ohhh you havent seen wigers gungan style sketch. :) He's a well respected enough comedy writer that they literally made him a WGA strike captain... And even though mitch was in the birthday boys sketch group, he is an comedy actor not a writer Edit: also for anyone that doesn't know, the whole joke of the show is that the guests and hosts act like the shows dumb and bad. If you didnt see all three laughing together and clearly finding each other funny, then we must have watched a different episode Also wtf is this hate coming from tim fans. We LOVE heidekker, and he gets along with the doughboys. Why the hate? Like, its fine if you didn't enjoy it. But we did. Tim did. So just chill and let us enjoy our thing, y'know.

Came here just to see Mitch’s face when he says “howdy ho” in front of Tim.
7:11 got you brother
Hahaha same the sole reason I’ve started with the video version instead of the pod
I came here just to make that little puddle!
Mitch: i think of you as a foodie.
Tim: I care about getting a parking space more than the taste of the food.
I love when they have BIG guests that buy into the premise of the show and have fun.

When you got podcasts like Tim Heidecker in them, you can't lose!
RIP Tom Cruise Jr.
5 bagger
He’s my favorite podcast
Nick reading his opening monologue into the camera is harrowing.
I wanted a slow zoom
something off about it
I smiled so big when I saw Tim sitting down with the boys. What a great show!
yea, the left edge of your mouth crashed through the wall in my pepper factory!
Love Tim Heidecker! Awesome ep ❤

"I got G-Fuel in my shoes" made me laugh so hard I choked.
I have seen a lit Black Angus sign with the G light out
You know something hilarious has been said if Mitch touches his eyes
"oh God..."
Can't wait to see how embarrassed Mitch is to Say Howdy Ho in from of Tim. lol
hey Mitch - can you explain 'naked Lego' in any amount of sentences?
"Nah, here's some porn"

Couldn't finish the episode without taking a jab at Timmy ❤
thank you tim!
I've only been to Black Angus a couple of times as a kid, but I vividly remember that commercial.
the intro straight into the camera is great
I love Mitch and Winger more than some of my family!
What an enjoyable podcast
usually for the big guests they pretend like everything the person says is soooo funny, but this time everything tim says IS funny!
That's a good lookin' shirt, Mitchy!
I love the power shirt Nick!
where do i get one of those Power tshirts???
Strike is over boys! Congrats!
Sue me, I'm a foodie
My three boys!

Shrimp and white wine!
It's a good show
Ate BK last week, rumblies for three days. Whopper.

Nicks rocking the chainsaw man power tee
Wow!
Mitch touching his face more than the kid from Dazed and Confused.
The Ch'King was great. Terrible name but it was awesome.

Hard to beat a Whopper from Burger King if you like Whoppers (from Burger King)
Quality sounds like it’s gone down, but If you didn’t get the prime rib at Black Anus, ya fucked up. Beef barley soup is also bomb.

When did Tim get hot? Hummuna hummuna.
Caramel m & m’s are so good. They taste like milk duds.

Who else paused to check out Naked Lego?
I'll I can't stop thinking about that scene where Tim's character watches that young woman have a seizure and it just keeps going. 😂😂

skinny Tim Heidecker?
I love the podcast but Mitch being embarrassed of the podcast is getting old.
Nick can’t pronounce “saga” and Mitch doesn’t know what it means.
Tim was being so combative with Mitch that at a certain point I thought he was gonna take a shot at Wally and Irma.
When was he combative?
I felt it was all just gentle ribbing, in the same spirit they bring.

Of course Emma brought her dog to the studio. People just don't care about the imposition they put on others.
Cry more fuck boy. Like she did it without asking, or like it affects you, AT ALL.
cant stand dog people...somebody has to clean that mess up
They all seemed to love the dog, and for all you know she asked beforehand. You're the one imposing your dislike of dogs on us comment readers
I just feel like Tim Heidecker overestimated how funny being combative or uninterested in the topic would appear to the audience 😅
