I had the same exact problem with the stromboli, it’s crazy. I took two bites and went to ask for my money back, but it turns out RAIN FROM MORTAL KOMBAT was back there making strombolis, and he’s actually quite scary. I just threw it away and left.
There was a Sbarro across the street from my company's headquarters that I would get a quick lunch from occasionally when I was in town. One visit, I ordered a stromboli, and they poured ice cold marinara on top. I did not return to that Sbarro, and I left that company shortly thereafter.
We've only booked 5 hours of studio time. Let's do a 30-minute "ocean related characters making stromboli" bit. Know who's NOT working at Sbarro? Ben Shapiro's wife.
Re: garlic bread Tombstone and other rarities, Grocery Outlets (also sometimes dollar stores) are the best "maybe I'll get lucky" source for weirdo one-off flavors outside of test markets. The one I remember most is ~2002 when the first run of pop rocks Oreo-style sandwich cookies came out and were impossible to find. Five or six months later I'm out shopping for my freshman dorm, and some random ass Grocery Outlet had them 2/$1. Have had good luck with less-common Impossible and Beyond variants in recent years. Also good for one-off movie/tv tie-in cereals.
I've never seen video of Blank Check nor would I ever admit this in the comments of a piece of Blank Check media but um........is anyone else here noticing that like uh.....Griffin is kinda 👀👀🥵🥵
I love Mitch, but it sounds exhausting to be on that text thread haha. It's funny that they make fun of redditors because hating The Last Jedi and accusing people of lying when they say they like it is something I see on reddit constantly.
I appreciate his perspective on things like this as opposed to having someone on who says they never eat anything unhealthy and thus hated their meal lol
my thing about the whole Unkar thing is, why does Mitch think it matters one way or the other whether or not he's interesting? Like, what's the name of the bartender from A New Hope? I don't know nor do I care, and it isn't a failing of the movie that I don't

"...Ricky Gervais, whose stance on religion is unknown..." is a top-tier joke hidden in the intro
Absolute banger ha
I snorted LOUD
The Office joke in the intro imo was equally hilarious
Such a good joke lol
It's true. I've never heard Mitch laugh or get angry.
Approximately 40 minutes of this is just naming wet people and I love it
I'd say that's an extremely conservative estimate lol
and it's not even wet day

Nick's intro was truly terrifying. I stared into the void, and it stared back.
At this point Unkar Plutt lives rent free in Mitch's head.
but it was griffin that wouldn't STFU about it.
@@micahpacileo2307this is objectively not true lol
He’s got UPDS!
Well he only occupies one quarter portion of his head so it’s alright.
I heard the only chain restaurant in Rapture from Bioshock was a Sbarro's

Little known fact: the game "Subnautica" takes place in the Sbarro kitchen
Plutt's got the juice.
Can't argue with To Catch A Redditor. That's top tier

For those who came back here to experience it again in all its glory ... It starts at 1:42:22
What is this, Wet Day?!
Blank Dough tour with Downtown Griffy Newmz and the Spoonman plz
hell yeah great guest and it's so much better when they all eat together before the show
Wiger's eyes in the opening monologue are TERRIFYING
The Wind that Shakes the Barley
This is the second Mavis Beacon reference in a podcast I’ve heard in two days! Bob the Drag Queen and the Doughboys 😂😂
The wet characters bit had me fighting for my life trying to not burst out laughing in the middle of my office for a whole hour.
Wet Stromboli now in the running for best Doughboys joke of all time
heck of an episode!! Love the BlankDough crossovers. Griffin was excellent
Brazil fan here! Fabrício you rule! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Mrs. Fields exists! She used to be on talk shows back in the day. She is also stunning.
are the sloppy steaks guys from I Think You Should Leave in the kitchen making this stromboli??
Very proud to have recognized Sleepers from that closeup
I only got it after Griff and Mitch pointed out its NY-ness, and only then because the hot dog cart scene was so pivotal. Great game, Skidmark!

Griffin is so cute!
In canadas malls ive always seen food courts on the ground floor in a sunken living room kinda vibe
this is good!
I have had the garlic bread pizza. It's pretty good.
Listening to Griffin for years on Blank Check, first time actually seeing him. Way less nerdy than expected.
I'd argue that.
2 hrs and 30+ minutes... Griffin always has a way of stretching podcasts lengths.
Travel Buddies would be a great listen. Love Griffin, Stu, and Mitch just shooting the shit about traveling to new cities.
Wow!
Wow!
I knew Fools Rush In almost immediately... i've seen that movie an odd number of times on starz or comedy central or something.
If you don't get the meatballs at Sbarros, you are failing.
I just realized that unkar plutt is supposed to be a watto type.
The itsy bitsy spider got me.
Oh man... All the wet characters (and their utter defiance to let the bit end) really got me good in this one. Great ep!
Griffin my friend!
a legend
‘Incellvania’ was saweeeet 😂
Is the Blue Crush lady working out back there?
I've never seen video of Blank Check nor would I ever admit this in the comments of a piece of Blank Check media but um........is anyone else here noticing that like uh.....Griffin is kinda 👀👀🥵🥵
Griffin makes *me* into a wet character 🥵
Go get 'im!
His stance on religion is unknown! Good God, I had a belly laugh 😂
Welcome to Sbarro, try our new extra wet stromboli
Grabbers is a very entertaining movie.
There's just one thing I can't quite figure out: is Nick a bit of a heat-seeker, or no?
Plutt is good
OK I'm finally on the Griffin train. He won me over with talk of Unkar Plutt's portion control.
IS THAT MY DAUGHTER BACK THERE???
1:43:07 this was a great episode until this point, then it got too silly for a few minutes. Let’s keep our heads in the game next time
In Sleepers the kids go to jail because the hot dog stand crushes the owner trying to keep from crashing down stairs.
I was screaming this at my phone while watching them discuss that frame.
Leprechaun 4 IN SPACE
55:40
Wiger short circuits
Mitch doesn’t eat before flying? WOW!
Ah Mitch is the best
Listening to Mitch re-litigate The Last Jedi (with no new criticisms) is worse than any bad Star Wars.
I love Mitch, but it sounds exhausting to be on that text thread haha. It's funny that they make fun of redditors because hating The Last Jedi and accusing people of lying when they say they like it is something I see on reddit constantly.
1:28:00
"uhhh dare i say it..."
Solid ep tho I found some of the humour a bit too dry
@2:16:49 🌭 #bongodogs
Was Wiger the sole participant in a don't spill contest back there?
Grabbers is great I highly recommend. It’s exactly what you expect it to be and also much more
I discovered a new Mandela effect.
In Beethoven’s 2nd, it is a hamburger eating contest and not a hot dog eating contest.
Wow
So we’re doing Griffin’s childlike food palate lol
I appreciate his perspective on things like this as opposed to having someone on who says they never eat anything unhealthy and thus hated their meal lol
Yeah I don’t think their normal fair of McDonald’s, BK, Wendy’s, Taco Bell as childlike food with items labeled for children in the menu…
Corn-Based Pizza With Tartar Sauce: A Star Wars Story
my thing about the whole Unkar thing is, why does Mitch think it matters one way or the other whether or not he's interesting? Like, what's the name of the bartender from A New Hope? I don't know nor do I care, and it isn't a failing of the movie that I don't
Rise of Skywalker is somehow worse than Last Jedi
Yes, because Rise of Skywalker is a bad movie, and Last Jedi is a good movie
# boycott the doughboys
Ya
Why?
Go Mavs
go to Hell you mean
