Que maravilhoso é este Lp...orquestração maravilhosa...a voz também é muito maravilhosa...mais uma vez muito obrigado por mais esta postagem completa...Deus os abençoem
This was Frankie’s only capitol records only album, he was really not happy with the label they really didn’t know what to do with him. I think this was recorded after Nat had passed and Sinatra had left the label earlier. Nat’s long time friend and producer Lee Gillette had produced this album. After Nat died Lee went into a deep depression and retired from capitol records.
Ralph and Lee had great respect for each other’s talents - in spite of a confrontation Lee had with Ralph over the lateness of some of the charts for Nat’s “My Fair Lady” album. Lee produced several of Ralph’s religious projects in the late 1960’s to early 1970’s.
I'm so glad I came across this video, I loved everything about it: Frankie Laine's singing, the accompaniment, the words, the music!
So glad you found it, too!

@@KINGCOLE1965 Thanks for the background!
I think this is a great album! I ordered it on eBay about two years ago I really enjoyed it.

@ I didn’t know that Lee and Ralph had issues over my fair lady album, As a big NKC fan that album wasn’t one of my favorites.
But I’m also a great fan of Ralph’s arrangements especially his work with Jack Jones.
