Ive got him an xbox series x for christmas and his 32 inch 1080p isnt going to do it justice and its going to have to be a budget option for him and this looks ideal for the price. Just wish there was a slightly smaller version but I think 43 is thr minimum for a 4k set.
Can you use this like a traditional TV when its hooked up to an aerial, IE switch it on and it goes straight on to terrestrial or do you have to go through menu's etc as my 88 year old Nan needs a new TV but she'll get confused if every time she switches it on she has to navigate a menu to get to terrestrial TV?
It will power on on whatever input it was on when you switched it off. Unless you're using removable media like a USB, which if removed while powered off, will revert to broadcast TV.
had this TV for 2 years now and its amazing, well worth upgrading to the QLED model which i am about to do for only £100 more

Just like to add this model can be had now for under 200 British squirrels.
You can add more hdmi plugs to connect more to tv at once places like ebay and things like that

Do you know if this TV has the Game Master 2.0 feature and if so what the 120hz upscale is like for games that support 120hz
It's a 60hz panel, so no.
@gtheskeptic it's a 60hz panel but TCL have a feature to up scale the hz to 120hz. Read up on it!
