Testing my new maverick quantum2 XT flux, During the run the slipper cluch pates melted to the spur gear and the spur gear got chewed up. Not good start.
i really like that truck, looks fast and handling is great, love the lights, do rc ran 4s in his and he started to get same problems as you,but it was on 4s ,even so i still really like this truck, great to see you back mate 😃😃👍👍😎😎
@@rcplaytime Thanks mate . I was out this morning i could’nt be bothered to film , But i ran the Balls off it for about an Hour. My New Pinion Came loose despite threadlock ? But no damage this time . And the rear suspension sags , i changed the oil. Not much different so , i dialled the Adjustments all the way down. It needs stiffer springs . The front diff needs Thickening up too. But it was flying pretty good, its still geared low , i wish they made a Smaller teeth spur gear and Adjustable motor mount. Theres a Video suggesting its better than a rustler or Vorteks . I wouldn’t go that far. But a bit of tweaking it can be a good truck. For the price. Saying its better than a Rustler is False , its cheaper and not bad for the money. Thats it. Rustler is Better . Price aside .
Yeah, that's alright, bro,excellent vid, explained very well, shame about slipery sliper clutch, try saying that after a few drinks ,lol🤣🤣,but even the most expensive rc cars, have problems, straight out the box, like the colour too,👌👌😁😊

@@rcnitroflux2361 My Monster truck , was Bought Brushed , i stuffed my Own Electrics in, i have had no Trouble with it, all but the centre shaft Cups coming Loose, I thought it was great, This BL XT version has been a pain . The Slipper was Loose & plates fused with spur , i am Now Running Steel Spur with 16t RW pinion. The Rear suspension on this Sags. I put thicker Oil they still Sag. It could do with harder springs,/ better Shocks . I would say if you have enough spare motors and Esc buy the brushed, it give you a Chance to check it over also. If im honest i like the MT better .

@@RallyandTrail the centre bar makes it a real pain in the Backside, and the rear assembly is long winded to take apart .
