Now for mid game players here's a strategy to do 2 or 3 trilodons on a single night: Use Volt, prime have more energy but is not really needed here, build him to have strength and duration. Don't have a 177 amp? No problem, get a 1-3-X amp, basically the prism and the +12% crit chance if you can't use the 7 who provides 20% and do equip a arcane Eternal Eradicate for that +%dmg after operator skill. Select your weapon, ideally people uses Rubico Prime with Rad dmg (others weapons work too anyways), even a poorly moded one would still break a limb on some shots, if you don't have that weapon you can use a Necramech (Voidrig) as well, mod it properly with rad and use the artillery mode to kill it. Now the hunt, get the lures, charge them, get in front of the eidolon and use volt electric wall, change to operator, use skill to activate arcane bonus and then normal shoot through it aiming to head, you will deplete the whole shield on a few shots, now if u picked Rubico change back to frame and shoot, if not then Necramech time not minding the wall and neither eidolon scream who generally hurts you but since u are on a Necra you don't mind. Then repeat. Like this you can solo 2 trilodons, and if you got a mate, even a baby tenno who just focus on grabbing lures, killing the vomvalyst and not dying or getting in the way, you can do 3 on a single night 👍
How do you join public groups though? I dont get this, im on ps4 and there's no que and wait for players option for open world stuff so if you don't luck out most of the time I'm starting solo and maybe someone joins midway and we flop. I built a 121 amp as I dont have access to 3 until i have 10 shards, and I've put 5 forma on a zenith as i heard its meta for eidolon hunts and copied the build of someone speedrunning them and all this time later and the zenith still feels like a pea shooter and I'm completely overwhelmed. These guides are so complicated and as proved by my huge waste of time and resources zenith can end up actually leaving you worse off than beforehand if you haven't undedtaood everything. I'm so sick of this. Why doesn't warframe ever explain anything itself.

Okay, disclaimer, due to the focus rework, Eidolon hunting is not this...precise... unless you are specifically aiming for speedruns/ 5-6 tridolons per night YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE THIS meticulate with your builds. If you are doing public runs just remmember to bring a decent dps radiation weapon and madurai with 1 and 2 skills unlocked, THAT'S IT! Don't stress yourself out unless going for ultra speed runs. Obviously understand the mechanics of the fight as it will keep you from dying less. This is why I don't run pubs anymore. I like to help new players but most of pubs is just whiny sweats. Majority of the time I get a lobby I get some mid tier level player shouting profanities over VC because I'm not doing hunts the way a two year old youtube video told them how to do it. I can't play at my own pace. How the f##k do you keep lures from being destroyed in the 2d and 3rd eidolons? I've tried Volt and Wisp. I have a 1-2-3 amp and a Rubico prime, and i can't finish gantilyst with a squad, let alone by myself. I don't see how you can NOT be meticulous. FFS, I'm trying like hell and I waste an entire 45 minute night only to wait another hour and a half to waste another 45 minutes.....
Okay well that's a relief, while this video was explained well, it was absolutely overwhelming, I was not expecting needing to be this perfect when doing it. I was absolutely stressing out and doubting if I could do it lol.
Eidolon hunts aren't that hard like this tryhard makes them seem like to be. But if you wanna do 3x3 or more then sadly I guess this is the way. For casual tridolon a decent amp and a necramech is very sufficient.
Constructive criticism here for Nightmare Frame: Try to explain as if you were explaining to your grandmother. Take it slow, without using abbreviations or game terminologies. Use plain English to describe the creatures (for example: the Eidolon - this giant here; the lure - this drone, etc.), without assuming that everyone knows their names. Also, consider pausing the gameplay and showing images of creatures, spawning map, etc. You may be very familiar with the game, but the people clicking on the video clearly aren't. It becomes confusing with the high volume of strange names. It should serve as a guide, right? I had a teacher who used to say: if you can't explain to your grandmother what you've learned, then you've only memorized it. I wish you success.
@@dwaynebrice1697 The advice isn't just for the sake of his audience, it's for him as well. As a youtuber the main thing he wants is a wider audience no?
Read the following two statements and proceed accordingly: A) I want to know just enough to finish an eidolon hunt, not die 20 times and help my team B) I want to be sure my volt shield is placed at exactly 14.5 degrees because 14.7 degrees is sub optimized. I want to void dash through the eidolons head, bark at the moon , rub myself in peanut butter and shoot my parabolic super hyper flex gun with one hand while farming riven slivers and completing PhD. Small disclaimer from someone running Eidolon hunts with like 2% of this investment (I have a shit rubico and a volt), this isn't required by any means to do 4-5 of them in a night. I understand this is the absolute pinnacle of minmax for the hunts, just trying to encourage some people to give it a go and don't get scared by all the information.
That's true, i used normal Trinity because i read the lures can get killed, and a (i think) decently modded Rubico Prime. After a few tries to see the behavior (3-4 or so) i finally caught my first Teralyst yesterday. It was a really messy fight, especially because i didn't know that parked lures stop the Eidolon, but i was quite proud. Edit: also, my Amp is an ungilded 122 with shit arcanes 😅
@knightmare, if you could not roll your mouse over each mod and arcane while showing builds, that would be helpful. I'm trying to pause the video at these points so I can go in-game to configure my build but it's hard to find a pause spot that shows everything when mousing over a mod expands it and covers the name of the one above/below it. Using "," and "." to move frame-by-frame helps a bit, and arrow keys, but I have to find the perfect spot RIGHT before you start moving your mouse around, or get lucky and get a spot in between mods. We don't need to read every mod's detailed description, we can do that ourselves. Just show us the build please. Thank you :) EDIT: Maybe just mouseover any unique Helminth abilities, since those aren't named.
Honestly a good idea, I wanna do eidolons but don't wanna bother anyone with how bad I am, a solo guide would be very nice, maybe a guide that is not sweaty and more of a casual one
My personal experience for solo, I think Trinity would be a very good idea, it can protect our ballon’s well if we can’t charge ballon’s quickly,.. the only problem is the speed is slower than volt..but still around9 to 10mins.
Bro how will a regular player know all this without looking at a guide? They really toss new players out there with no tutorials whats so ever smh. Thanks for the video 💯
As a new player.. it's nice to know that I will never figure this out. The casual mention of so many things that mean nothing to me lol. I didn't even know there were different flying vehicles
Take your time with things. Eidolon hunting sounds intimidating to start but you need to get your ball rolling on progression and powering yourself up first. Rank up your mastery by maxing out new weapons and frames, get a good clan if you can, login daily, peck at things so you understand them piece by piece. These types of videos have a lot of information to swallow.
Seriously though, I'm trying to learn this but what you said took the words out of my mouth. To say this guiide is an overwhelming iniformation overload is an understatement, so much information if thrown at you, casually at that, and then it moves right onto the next point.
Newer players that stumbled upon this video have no idea how much experience and knowledge is cramped into this episode alone. not even funny. youtube desperately needed this, kmf. cant wait on the upcoming parts
Can anyone recommend a beginner friendly guide, TRUE beginner, like I suck at video games in general, NOOB level? Step by step, explain it to me like I'm stupid (because am when it comes to mechanics like these), I need to have every single aspect pointed out visually and explained. I've done 3 pub runs and been crapped on every time, despite having already watched a dozen different videos like this that have sadly only added to my confusion 😔
if i would of watched this video when i first starting playing a couple of months ago i would of been so confused. This is more of a speed run guide for vet players imo. Same strat as one of the speed runners that i watch. For new players, search for a beginner friendly guide.
@@Illandarr Meta doesn't mean complicated. He even said the guide was aimed towards casual and intermediate players. All this strats are aimed towards getting the max amount of tricaps possible in 1 night cycle. Intermediate players might get there with this guide but casuals? Not in a million years. Then again his comment by the end of the video says it all 'Most players avoid the hunts because they require using more than 1% their braincells'. You can't get more elitist than that tbh
For newer players you don’t need to be this completely perfect and sweaty if you don’t all these different equipment don’t worry about it just understand the basic way eidolons work and make sure you have blue lures a decent amp and good part breaking gun
Is he wrong tho? Eidolons are like the one activity that requires a bit of skill and knowledge to do properly and public eidolon bounties are the biggest shit show in all of warframe. That's pretty clear evidence that most of the people playing warframe are just mindless point and shoot type players.
@@Adb07d this is one of the most grindy games in existence and to have all the gear in this video requires like a thousand hours to have all of. I'm sure you don't need all of it literally I'm just saying. It's certainly not super mechanically demanding (I mean, play a fighting game) but it requires such an in depth knowledge of the game and amount of gear that it's just tedious. This is like building a competitive pokemon team from scratch with no free 6IV dittos level of tedium (more honestly), when you could just play Showdown. That's almost exactly how most people feel about this content.
He talks way too fast, doesn't show anything of what he's doing, acts like this is something even new players can do or know about. yeah, downvote approved.
Harrow Gear requirement: low One of the mods: Primed Sure Footed oh yeah, let me just play for a year and then some before being able to build this "low" requirement build.
Stop crying im 3 months into the game and dont complain, just work around it, handspring, subsume spellbind, use nezha, atlas or even rhino for that matter, not like stagger is that importante in eidolons, just jump or go into operator mode, it all will be over after 2 seconds anyways
I got the game back in 2014 and grinding the whole game and took breaks, come back new stuff and got confused and took another break, came back and new stuff lol. So much stuff in this game I have no idea about. I feel bad for new players
Quit this in 2019 and was looking to come back cause i missed the old days...operators shoot the eidolon...take out limbs with chroma/mirage/rhino buffs and sniper rifle...and hunt three sets in a night. when things were simple and fun. Now you need intrinsics and wisps and necra-something? I aint bashing those who understand and enjoy these mechanics but for me, id need to re-learn all this bs and im def not interested. This is still my favorite part of the game still so thank you for the showcase despite me not understanding a fraction of what was said here😂
Warframe has reached a point where arcanes are still quality of life but kinda needed for higher level content and most of them are locked behind eidolon hunts. We really need alternatives for farming them like when they were farmable for that one event. My whole point being, that this guide was so painfully confusing that it made me want to get new alternatives to farm warframe arcanes rather than ever try getting into eidolon hunts...
I've got a looong way to go before I start hunting these. I accidentally ran into one gathering for my Archwing Launcher, Some people joined my crew to fight um. they ended up taking it down while I went to finish getting eels
You are gonna get carried until you get a better amp. That's okay. I tried to help by getting the lures. You can do that! My gilded 1-2-3 amp is so much better. And you become much more helpful to a hunting party.
Well I guess this is the min-max 4man video. I was hoping for a solo guide but this is worth watching still. More so if you have friends to run this with. And no, I don't want to do an Eido run with people in Rec chat where I have 600 ping
Solo is just Madurai Eclipse Volt. Tricks from this video still apply, only lure handling is more annoying because all of it needs to be done during the energy spikes.
I’m new to the Eidolon hunting and this was way too much info smashed together. My biggest question currently is how r u force spawning Voms when needed?
While this is a great guide I do think trinity is great in non meta teams, if your just going in with randoms trinity means the hunt will at least be successful even if a tad slower. But your right that in a peak well drilled team you don’t need trinity.
Thank you I needed this, I tried doing eidolon hunts since they released and I was absolutely overwhelmed and I couldn't find a straightforward up to date guide.
Although i watch and learn most from ur guides, i felt this one is a miss for a newbie typeish. I was lost keeping track of the narrative as i felt some concepts weren’t in line at the exact shown actions made on the video showcase. I’ll still leave a like
great video. As someone who knows how to do stuff but doesn't know why I do the stuff or how I've done it sometimes, this was great. Only thing I'd add is that the MIGHTY SEER is perfect for hunts
No Idea if you mention this or not I only partially scrubbed through the video but my only piece of advice is that if you decide to run pubs just know Tridolons is toxic AF, everyone is a know-it-all toxic tryhard and will shit on you if you don't do everything their way.
dont get me started on faction standings and resources and prerequisites and prerequisites of prerequisites. you have to grind and grind and grind till you die and be reborn as a gamer lich and achieve veteran status.
I'll be honest. Despite this really well done video this part of the game seems too hectic and stressful for me, especially because i'm a bit older and often realise in random groups that i'm quite slow compared to many others 😅 One downside though is that i have to farm a fuckton of platin to get a full Arcane Energize (luckily i got 3 from nightwave some time ago, so at least i have a rank 1), since one alone costs 70 plat or so on the market. Second downside is that i need 10 brilliant shards for the way-bound passives. My only hope is that DE will change something on how to get them because of the upcoming Duviri Paradox, because the core seems to be the operator. Oh well, lets see. Thank god i only play for half a year now so i still have tons of other stuff to do/farm 😁
See I never had any of this, I just crafted my 123 amp and started the grind. Granted it took a little time but this really ain't as bad as it seems. RUclipsrs make it look more hectic because they're trying to do as fast as humanly possible which thd majority don't do.
0:20 "Eidolon is the only content that needs massige gear check and decent mechanical skills to grind etc"; Me doing it sucessfully without all this "grind". Sure I only do 1-2 runs with randoms per cetus night when I play it, So I don't really think you need all this for this content and it doesn't recquires any of this. You only need to know how the lures work and how to deploy eidolons shields and damage it lol and survive, that is all.
with a 3-year hiatus on Warframe and beyond that with open world missions, this guide is very helpful! never understood why the lures where dying left and right and why people were getting 3 at a time. i have a lot of studying to do on this game as last I played beyond fooling around, I was building for a concealed explosive shuriken+ lanka Chroma (LOL, I'm defiantly out of touch!). I don't have harrow because of his farm and i haven't yet tried to get wisp but now i understand why Volt is used dispite his fraility. I'll be saving this to watch later for when I finally am strong enough to handle Terralists in reasonable times, both team and solo (i know there are other parts but one thing at a time).
I remember doing this solo with Oberon a few years ago, I don't remember it being that technical. Seems daunting now. Very informative video though. My biggest problem is I have no friends that play, I would have to public this activity.
@@ZaaNayazu1981 I ended up using volt and it was not bad at all. Kinda like riding a bike I guess. Just jump in Pub games, you will fine. Done it over 10 times already.
After watching this video, I really hope this isn't episodic. Thought it would be a tutorial on understanding of eidolon hunts and the general gist on how to do them, but it was minmax video. Don't think a second episode is necessary. Good video outside of insulting casuals lol.
Out of the Lasers which the 2nd eidolon spawns i assume. And if you are fast at popping their limbs they barely get to attack your lures in the first place.
Havent done Eidolons in a while nor played Warframe in a long time. Meta has changed though, I remember the volt trin chroma harrow squads back then..Best i could do was 4x3. Was fun, i think ima get back into it :D
I was participating in eidolon hunt around that time too. Meta Amp was 223/323. It was the very first time when Lanka and other snipers finally had a use in the game lol but the beast was Rubico. Chroma and Rubico were so meta that the dev released Chroma Prime along with Rubico Prime. Good Old Days.
Awesome guide! It´s encouraging me to hunt again I have some questions on builds: 1) If DPS volt uses unairu, It doesn´t need primed sure footed right? because the passive prevents knockdown after using transference 2) Harrow has preparation as a passive now, What can we use in the exilus instead? 3) Any helminth skill for harrow?
You can definitely find plenty of more casual Eidolon hunters. The occasional toxic dps main will show up eventually though. I like to just play harrow since it's the easiest job.
propa shots are like grenades. You tend to shoot your propa shot anywhere near them through a volt shield. Most people shoot at the legs but doesn't really matter as long as it connects with the Eidolon. Make sure you have VS as it will empower your propa to 1 shot. There's several other ways to use Propa with the new arcanes however I am inexperienced with them. Depending on what type is your primary fire, you can proc shadow and use your propa shot straight after
Damn, information overload. I need a squad to begin with. I really don't want to be min-maxing either. Takes way too much time that I don't have. But most of that is not your fault, still some useful information. Glad I had prior knowledge of the things you talked about or I would have been so lost. Wow commented before I heard the last bit about casual players. A bit insulting don't you think? Some people just want to have fun and not min-max everything. Not everybody has time like you do.
let me tell you this is warframe minmaxxed to like the highest degree, almost ridiculous. idk about all 3 eidolons, but its pretty simple to hunt down the first one with a group of randoms. its not really explained in-game what you have to do too well (I believe), but basically just shoot the eidolon with operator mode until its shield is down then destroy the limbs and the vomvalysts. to put it into perspective my friend and I run teralyst and we use the default mote amps and dont really even have our stuff modded correctly for the teralyst. maybe its the other two randoms carrying us but from what ive seen we can seemingly do it ourselves it just takes a while to get the shield down. also the stuff the guy in the video is talking about is a pretty decent length into warframe. especially with all the focus stuff. regardless i'd recommend crafting a good amp, gilding it, and modding weapons for radiation damage anyway. do that and you cant really go wrong, you're just not completing this in like 5 minutes like this guy does, which is more than okay.
dw if you want a much easier build that can even be used solo brozime has a video up for even soloing them. this vid is absolutely minmaxed to get as many captures as possible
so why are you here? or hear me out, some people who do HAVE the time, friends, and resources want to invest in on of the few mechanically challenging parts of the game.
The vom stuff was the stuff i was the most interested in I could never figure out how to force spawn properly So thank you. I cant wait for the rest of it because I want my stuff up to snuff!
Considering most of your build essentially require Arcane Energize this is super useful. If I get tired I’ll pay the 80$ sure, but I might as well try.
Ok so what I use is a nezha prime with eclipse for damage and warding halo augment for protecting lures, nataruk. I don't have the best amp shwaak, pencha, juttni. With this build I can solo a teralyst in 8 minutes without using lures. Since I've tried this build I'm surprised Eclipse isn't mentioned for dealing damage to eidlons
@@Alexdm1234 It doesn't matter if it's night or day. Tested it today and my guess is the moonlight is enough to keep the dmg. However, going into caves and the likes will give dmg reduction.

Thankfully I have a brother that play this game so sometimes I just do Tridolon caps either duo/single.
public can be so toxic nowadays
Now i remember why I never really bothered with Eidolons in the past.
Now I remember why I quit this game in the past. 😀
Well said my dude! 😆🤣
Thats not him. He likes being pretentious and mean. Get good or go home. Cry about it
@@dwaynebrice1697 The advice isn't just for the sake of his audience, it's for him as well. As a youtuber the main thing he wants is a wider audience no?
Read the following two statements and proceed accordingly:
A) I want to know just enough to finish an eidolon hunt, not die 20 times and help my team
B) I want to be sure my volt shield is placed at exactly 14.5 degrees because 14.7 degrees is sub optimized. I want to void dash through the eidolons head, bark at the moon , rub myself in peanut butter and shoot my parabolic super hyper flex gun with one hand while farming riven slivers and completing PhD. @@KnightmareFrame well I’m looking forward to episode 2… I’ve always wanted quantum mechanics explained to me in the most painful way possible.

Thank you :)
EDIT: Maybe just mouseover any unique Helminth abilities, since those aren't named.
Can you make a solo guide with builds and all that stuff that you need for solo?
That would be great!
Yes!
this pls @knightmareframe
Honestly a good idea, I wanna do eidolons but don't wanna bother anyone with how bad I am, a solo guide would be very nice, maybe a guide that is not sweaty and more of a casual one
My personal experience for solo, I think Trinity would be a very good idea, it can protect our ballon’s well if we can’t charge ballon’s quickly,.. the only problem is the speed is slower than volt..but still around9 to 10mins.
Remember when these were just get lures and shoot synovias and that’s it? Yeah same here

Bro how will a regular player know all this without looking at a guide? They really toss new players out there with no tutorials whats so ever smh. Thanks for the video 💯
i wish i was there for the first week of eidolon releases. that shit must’ve been insane to handle
I've done 3 pub runs and been crapped on every time, despite having already watched a dozen different videos like this that have sadly only added to my confusion 😔
oh dang, my 2 brain cells can't handle this
After 15 MRs and about 800 hours, i finally started doing these, this is exactly what I needed. Thanks man, you always come in clutch.
this is the most sweatiest tryhard guide I have ever seen.
Best explanation I’ve ever seen! Wish this was out when I first stated doing eidolons 😂 oh well good for new players! 👍
if i would of watched this video when i first starting playing a couple of months ago i would of been so confused. This is more of a speed run guide for vet players imo. Same strat as one of the speed runners that i watch. For new players, search for a beginner friendly guide.
Yes, this isn't a guide for new players. It's in the title, "META Eidolon guide". META means Most Effective Tactic Availiable
That backhanded slap at people for not wanting to do this content was uncalled for.
Which one? I didn't finish the video because tbh, this is too much for a boss battle
Are you surprised? this guy is quite toxic, and he’s like this in every video
This is still my favorite part of the game still so thank you for the showcase despite me not understanding a fraction of what was said here😂
We've all been waiting for this
Warframe has reached a point where arcanes are still quality of life but kinda needed for higher level content and most of them are locked behind eidolon hunts. We really need alternatives for farming them like when they were farmable for that one event.
My whole point being, that this guide was so painfully confusing that it made me want to get new alternatives to farm warframe arcanes rather than ever try getting into eidolon hunts...
there are bunch of alternative endgame arcanes you can use that you can get from other sources
farm platinum and buy them
Orphix in Railjack drops arcane but it’s a terrible drop rate
yea as a returning player this makes me want to not even do it
I think I need a PhD for this.
Wow, thank you for this incredibly detailed guide! This is the content players need, it was well-paced, and well-spoken. Very high quality stuff!
Just got my first 3 kills. Thanks for the help 🎉🎉🎉🎉

or take the blue pill and pay for shit with plat.
I'll be honest. Despite this really well done video this part of the game seems too hectic and stressful for me, especially because i'm a bit older and often realise in random groups that i'm quite slow compared to many others 😅
One downside though is that i have to farm a fuckton of platin to get a full Arcane Energize (luckily i got 3 from nightwave some time ago, so at least i have a rank 1), since one alone costs 70 plat or so on the market.

Alright, time for some popcorn and a KnightmareFrame vid...
It´s encouraging me to hunt again
I have some questions on builds:
1) If DPS volt uses unairu, It doesn´t need primed sure footed right? because the passive prevents knockdown after using transference
2) Harrow has preparation as a passive now, What can we use in the exilus instead?
3) Any helminth skill for harrow?
Hahah thank you, now i know why people don't like the fights and why i am not even going to try.
You can definitely find plenty of more casual Eidolon hunters. The occasional toxic dps main will show up eventually though. I like to just play harrow since it's the easiest job.
Wow the most in depth guide for Eidolon hunts. Thanks very much for the effort.
I don't know who invented these mechanics, but they are so confusing and stupid that it makes my head spin.
exactly my thoughts.
Pop shields with operator amp, shot limb with rubico(or zenith if your a chad) pop. Repeat. It gets easier with practice
Can't wait for you to release an amp shooting guide, till this day I still don't know what to do with my propa shots but I keep hearing about it
propa shots are like grenades. Depending on what type is your primary fire, you can proc shadow and use your propa shot straight after
Now I know what I can do with my volt prime, been waiting for a updated video, thank you😁
I use wisp for eidolon solo hunts and support and i'm glad that you mentioned her in this vid. Hope more people consider my wisp for hunts now :3

I clicked so Goddamn fast. You honestly taught me how to play this game properly and efficiently thank you man
Why do you have Preparation in your Harrow build? Isnt it completely useless? Read his passive ...
Watched aznvasions Guide couple seconds ago Nice timing
squad eidolons are to hectic, i just solo them
This completely drives me away from wanting to try this. This is just too much, really makes me rethink messing with warframe.
let me tell you this is warframe minmaxxed to like the highest degree, almost ridiculous. idk about all 3 eidolons, but its pretty simple to hunt down the first one with a group of randoms. its not really explained in-game what you have to do too well (I believe), but basically just shoot the eidolon with operator mode until its shield is down then destroy the limbs and the vomvalysts.
to put it into perspective my friend and I run teralyst and we use the default mote amps and dont really even have our stuff modded correctly for the teralyst. maybe its the other two randoms carrying us but from what ive seen we can seemingly do it ourselves it just takes a while to get the shield down.
also the stuff the guy in the video is talking about is a pretty decent length into warframe. especially with all the focus stuff.
regardless i'd recommend crafting a good amp, gilding it, and modding weapons for radiation damage anyway. do that and you cant really go wrong, you're just not completing this in like 5 minutes like this guy does, which is more than okay.
dw if you want a much easier build that can even be used solo brozime has a video up for even soloing them. this vid is absolutely minmaxed to get as many captures as possible
