🌼 an important note 🌼 hello everyone, thanks for watching my video! i would just like to emphasize that ANY designs/blueprints you make in eternaland are exclusive to eternaland. currently, you cannot use eternaland house blueprints on the actual live server. the reason why i recorded my video tutorial in eternaland was because i already had the house made on the live server. but if you want this house built on the live server, then you must build it on the live server. also, if you're curious about my base location on the live server-- my base is right next to the teleporter (2720, -5644) south of tall grass inn and north of gaia military base. it's on a mound on the water rather than completely flat terrain, which works for this build since it's many different foundation heights. you can see footage of my base on the live server at the intro 00:00 and during the showcase 11:21, or in my other interior tour video: ruclips.net/video/uf6z16fUCUE/видео.html thank you! 🌻 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🌼 FAQ 🌼 q: i can't raise/lower my foundations enough. a: consider the terrain your base is built on. since the build requires really high foundations and really low ones, you want the really high ones to be placed on more raised terrain and the really low parts to be placed on more sunken terrain. for example, in the intro 00:00, you can see that my base is built on a mound in the water, while the bridge is overhanging the water. the lowest bridge foundations are underwater. remember, you can press "z" in build mode to move your territory and alt+scroll to raise/lower the entire thing. i've also heard people report that placing the build from a saved blueprint (which means you would save your current base progress as a blueprint, delete your base, and then place the blueprint) can give more freedom in how much you're allowed to raise/lower with the alt+scroll feature. q: i can't build the bridge/the pillars keep collapsing. a: try using more small square foundations instead of regular foundations for stability. since i did the tutorial on eternaland, it's possible that the stability functioned a bit differently. or it's also possible that the devs have changed the building system since my tutorial. either way, it should still be possible to achieve by using more of the small square foundations. good luck! q: the pavillion shown at 10:37 doesn't work for me. i can't get the frame and wood parapet to overlap. a: the devs are continually updating the building system and making some aspects of my build tutorial obsolete. it appears that this no longer works at the moment. as an alternative, you can try rotating the frames the other direction or use columns instead. here's an example: i.imgur.com/fTCFpgZ.jpeg q: how do you get the window on your gable, visible at 11:21? a: it's actually a picture frame with the picture of a window in it.
@@SoloK_1 i'm not sure what you mean by not believing me, but you could always modify the base or just take general inspiration from the build if you can't get the foundation heights to work at the location you chose to build in. one modification you could also try is making the foundation levels vary by half wall increments as opposed to a full wall height. so you would be using the half stairs instead of full sized stairs. or you could even try building at the exact location i had my base when i built it (right next to the teleporter south of tall grass inn and north of gaia military base). good luck

This is so freaking quaint! Thank you for making it seem achievable (even with the painful roof placement in this game, haha). I had no idea you could place triangular and curved foundations next to each other in the way you did, so I've definitely learned some tricks for my future builds!

After using this house in Manibus, I can say that i loved it. I used one house for the rp and the other for utilities. Love the cottage side, different plants. You did an amazing job!
Amazing build im definitely using this, also I have a tip for roof placement; if you're struggling to put the roof in the right place, trying moving your camera inside the building and looking up. That helps me.
this is a dope build tutorial...i used this foundation layout but made my base connected so instead of having two buildings i made one big base, so i pretty much made the two base connect by adding a full blown base in the middle by connecting the two this was an inspiration and i appreciate you

I was struggling to create a cottage-like base for a long time, but as soon as I saw this video I knew I found my solution. I had to put it on .25x playback speed and pause a bunch, but it only took about an hour to recreate. Highly recommend this build for anyone who loves cottage aesthetics!

When you said to raise the foundations again for the bridge, I died inside 🤣 I can’t raise it anymoreeeeee but I LOVE this build so much. ❤️😍 you did amazing
You can make a foundation line around the whole build with one block between the house and the other foundation (have it as close to the ground as possible) and then raise it up as much as you need and then you can remove the outer foundations again. If you want to raise it up even more after that just repeat the process. This way you can make floating bases and stuff :3

Highly recommend putting a warning somewhere very early on in the video about how HIGH the foundations have to be. I am now re-doing the entire first set of foundations because I didn't make them high enough and glad I checked comments because I can't go max height because of the bridges.
sorry to hear you're struggling, but do remember you can also adjust your overall territory height by pressing z in build mode to "move territory" and then using alt+scroll to raise/lower your entire territory. i believe it only has a 10-minute cooldown. but yeah, i've been trying to add extra info in my pinned comment at the top since i can't edit this video now that it's posted. i also built this at the very start of the first season scenario, so the overall building system has changed a bit since then
I really love this build, its looks great! I tried to build a little castle myself but I feel like there are not many options in this game for certain builds :( also every nice build is with the glass pack so its refreshing to see a great build without
i found a way to fill the gap u had in the roof, u can use a combo of small tri roofs and a small inv tri roof to make a trapazoid on the south side, then use a small inv roof on the north side. They'll clip through each other weirdly but its better than the hole!
Okayyy, I only clicked on this because I was like "The exterior alone would've been the build limit" I honestly expected it to be a literal shell with nothing inside... But being made in Eternaland makes sense.
my house was on the live server actually, as shown in the intro and end showcase. i just recreated it in eternaland for the step-by-step tutorial part ☺ structure limit was never an issue with this build, but decoration limit definitely was!

In finishing touches around 10:30 you place a wooden frame over the wooden fence. For some reason, I do it in the same order as you but I can't get the wooden frame to snap over the wooden fence, they conflict for that spot on the edge of the foundation. Any advice?
hmm, you're right. the devs have seemed to change that since i built my base.. not sure whether it was intentional or not. my fences are definitely still overlapping with the frames on the live server, but now i can't recreate it when i try. it's frustrating that they keep changing things without telling us about the changes. there's also going to be an update tonight that might change the building system further, so we'll see! i apologize that it doesn't seem to work anymore, but here are some alternative ideas: i.imgur.com/fTCFpgZ.jpeg you could rotate the square frame walls the other way so that they don't conflict with the wood fences, or you could just use columns instead. but with these methods, i think you also need to include ceilings for stability, and also probably a gable so it doesn't look weird with the gap between the roof and ceilings.

Very nice build. Duplicated it with ease. Had extra build space and added pillars to some of the corners of the buildings that looked weird. Hate how the concrete blocks bleed on certain corners. Slacked on bridge, not using in eternal land. Maybe not entirely using a bridge, unless I move to spot if can be usable. Just a walk way up and down really.

So you can’t build in eternal land and put in the world u play in? That’s silly .
I don't believe you with your first q&a. This build is so incredibly picky ground wise that most places you try to build it will result in errors.

Ahh the connected foundation tricks really make this feel like a little hamlet/villa you find on the edge of some towns in game. Great knowledge.

oh u can also fill in the gap between the lower foundations and the upper foundation of the tower with small triangle foundations
