Got to agree with Pauline. Any time the government wants a price you can gaurantee it's gonna be at least 50 pc more expensive than usual. Why? Because the tax payer is paying. That's why. It's been that way since Noddy was a boy.

She is a happy woman most of the time and also has secure housing and a supportive family. The amount she gets is equivalent to pensions of 10 single people. She is a hell of a lot happier than a lot of them I bet. No wonder the system is stuffed. This country can not afford such generosity!

It's so damn hard to get on NDIS. 🤦🏼‍♀️
It's hard to get the right amount of funding and not have to choose between therapists to see.
I have a terminal child and we get barley enough funding by the time we pay each therapist there $193.99 an hour.
These therapists and health care providers are the ones ripping NDIS off. Charging $193.99 for 50 minutes of therapy and Charging $193 to travel to a client. Or $1000 for a report. It's a joke!
The way to fix it is cap the amount that can be charged to clients by half and NDIS / tax payers would save billions!

Its a scheme that only benefits some individuals there are thousands of people with a disability that don't get it...where is the much needed assistance for those individuals?

NDIS would save alot of money if the health care professionals such as physiotherapists weren't getting paid almost $200 for not even 1 hour of work. Or charging $1000 just to write a report. The problem is the providers, not the people on NDIS.

I think PH is right. One of the reasons prices are so high is because of people claiming welfare who shouldn't. Everyone has to pay for this - it is not free. Sadly, while ever we vote for either the government (ALP) or the opposition (LNP) this will not change. I think both rely too much on academics without listening to real people. A good start would be to audit ALL government departments with a view to cut waste.

Edit: ok I’m sorry for the comment, my parent told me that Pauline Hanson is and I quote “a load of crap” and that “I shouldn’t listen to a word she says”.
It’s just recently I have been researching things about NDIS and I really should stop researching and overthinking and over analysing things because that only makes me go into a spiral. A spiral of negative thoughts and intrusive thoughts, and none of it is good because then I have a panic attack.
I am autistic, I also am co-morbid ADHDer and I also have anxiety disorder, also with other mental health disorders. So I am liable to overthink and overthink and over analysing upon over analyse… until I explode with panic attacks and/or self harming but that can be rare to happen (sometimes).

If the net value of gov services and subsidies and payments is greater then the tax you paid in the 4 years prior to election, you don't get to vote. 'All people who are reliant on gov handouts vote for, is more freebies for themselves. No other issue matters more to them. The gov can thus buy votes by promising to steal from productive people to give to people who only consume without producing. Eventually nobody will want to produce
